Ford town

Fort Town is located in the centers of Jieyang and Chaoshan, with Pu Sang in the east and Rongjiang in the southwest. National Highway 206 runs through the whole territory, 4 kilometers away from Jiedong Railway Station of Guangmeishan Railway. Chaoshan Civil Airport is located at the junction of Deng Gang Fort, and the water, land and air transportation hub is gradually taking shape.

Fort has always been an important commodity distribution center in Chaoshan area, where merchants gather. As early as the Ming and Qing Dynasties, commercial activities were very active. According to the records of Shantou Customs, in the 24th year of Emperor Kangxi of Qing Dynasty (1685), Guangdong Customs was established, and a positive tax gate was set up in the battery. It can be seen that batteries used to be the gateway to foreign trade in history. Paotai Town 1985 was changed from a township to a town, and 1992 was listed as a "comprehensive reform pilot town" in Liaoning Province. Great changes have taken place in a short time, and it has become a well-known advanced township.
