Does it matter if the engine compartment is flooded?
Be careful not to restart the vehicle after the engine is flooded. Once this happens, they will restart the engine in a hurry, which will easily cause the cylinder to explode. The correct way is to push the vehicle out of the deep water area, ensure that the engine air intake will not absorb water again, and park it in a safe place, or directly call the trailer to the repair shop for repair.
There are several ways to help us simply judge the symptoms of a small amount of water in the engine.
1. Check the oil state: the normal oil color is light yellow, brown, transparent and colorless, but generally it is not milky white. Take out the dipstick, wipe it clean and put it in. Check whether there is a milky water-oil mixture. If so, there may be water in the engine.
2. Check the air filter: check whether there are obvious water marks on the air filter and air filter shell, and check whether there are obvious water marks on the air inlet pipe and air inlet pipe. The owner can remove the empty filter by himself.
3. White smoke from the exhaust pipe: When there is water in the engine fuel or in the combustion chamber, the water is heated into steam by the heat released by combustion in the cylinder and discharged from the exhaust pipe to produce white smoke. If the car emits white smoke after wading, it is probably caused by water entering the engine. Million car purchase subsidy
