What are weather signs?
Meteorological signs are weather warning signals, which are disastrous weather warning information symbols produced by the Central Meteorological Observatory based on meteorological detection data and released to the public. Meteorological signs are meteorological disaster warning signs composed of four colors: "blue, yellow, orange, and red" as well as graphics and Chinese and English characters. The signs from weakest to strongest indicate the intensity of the disaster weather. Includes weather phenomenon symbols for observation records and weather graphic symbols for media dissemination. Common weather signs include: light rain, moderate rain, heavy rain, sunny, cloudy, overcast, heavy rain, etc.
The functions of weather signs:
1. The impact of weather on industrial production is very extensive. Whether it is the selection of the factory site, the design of the building, or all aspects of raw material storage, manufacturing, product storage and transportation, they are all affected by meteorological conditions such as temperature, humidity, precipitation, wind, and insolation. Especially disastrous weather, such as tropical storms and typhoons, heavy rains and floods, power transmission line interruptions or damage to factories and equipment, flooded warehouses, and worker casualties and inability to go to work; droughts cause insufficient water supply.
2. Fires caused by lightning, etc.; freezing and cracking of water pipes and oil pipelines and other freezing damage caused by low temperature; high temperature and low humidity can easily induce fires and explosions; high temperature and high humidity can easily cause corrosion and mildew of raw materials, etc., as well as affect the health of workers. Physical health and production efficiency, etc., all directly or indirectly affect industrial production.
