Folk ghost stories
When I was a child, I had a neighbor who believed in ghosts and gods, and I could often hear ghost stories told by her. I can still remember one now.
The story is:
In the past, a family in the countryside was building a new house. At that time, the house was basically a house with mud walls. The owner of the family was very stingy with the workers who built the house. I can't even eat a normal lunch.
One of the workers knows a little bit about Taoism. There was a bamboo forest next to the earthen wall, and a few bamboo tips happened to be hanging next to the wall. The worker cut a bamboo tip (with dense bamboo leaves on it) and inserted it into the highest part of the wall (where the top beam is placed). It seemed like he had recited a few words or something similar to a mantra.
The owner’s new house in the back was renovated. The house was always dark and dark. The side room had a wooden pavilion with a second-story-like partition. Many times the owner came home from work and saw There was a disheveled man sitting on the top of the ladder leading up to the compartment. However, as soon as the owner approached, the disheveled man disappeared. The owner went upstairs to look and saw no one.
The owner didn’t pay attention once or twice, maybe because he was dazzled, but after a period of time, he saw it almost once or twice every day. Now the owner was a little scared and asked a Feng Shui master to help him. After a while, draw a few more talismans for yourself.
Mr. Feng Shui is also very good. After looking at it for a few times, he asked the owner if he had offended anyone when building the house, and he had to get forgiveness from the offended person. But the master couldn't think of anyone to offend. He was usually a bit stingy, but he wouldn't offend anyone.
A few days later, this matter spread. Someone in the same village told the host's family, "The workers who built your house did not have enough to eat every day during the construction period. Your family is not We are very poor and have nothing to eat, but if you don’t give it to the workers, you may have to find those workers.”
The master understood now, so he set up a few banquets and asked the people to build a banquet. The houseworker and the neighbor had a meal together and told the truth about what happened. After the banquet, the horrible situation in the host's house never happened again.
