Grandpa’s grave is made of earth, and the ashes are contained in an earthen vessel. I went back during the Double Ninth Festival this year and found ant holes in the grave. What's the problem? How to solve it?
The reason why there are termites or ants is because there are dead and decaying tree roots around the tomb, and the tomb is relatively ventilated and dry. That is to say, the green dragon and white tiger on the tomb are not well guarded, causing the left and right sides to be blown away by the wind. If you put incense on the tomb, the smoke of the incense will not rise in a straight line, but will be blown away by the wind. In addition, every time the sacrifices left to worship ancestors' graves during the Qingming Festival are left there, they will also attract ants. After eating, they will not leave and build their nests on the spot. This is a pottery vessel for secondary burials. Commonly known as "golden pagoda" pottery vessels are usually covered and sealed with putty (that is, tung oil, lime and bamboo silk specially used for repairing wooden boats). Ants cannot get in and cause harm, so don't worry! However, if there are mining construction projects under or around the cemetery, it may crack the golden pagoda, which is not good! As for you, if everyone in your house is safe and sound, then don't bother with it; otherwise, if you feel uncomfortable, you can move it elsewhere. A land that attracts termites is not a good Feng Shui land anyway! It's up to you to weigh the interests and decide on your own! But just to be cautious, ask a respected and reputable Feng Shui master to take a look at it and make an accurate calculation before moving it.
