Hailong Town is located at 125°47′～58′ east longitude and 42°33′～43′ north latitude. It is 20 kilometers east of Meihekou City and is bounded by Shuangxing Township and Niuxinding Town in the north. It borders Xinhe Town and Yimin Township to the south, Wanlong Township and Lilu Township to the west, and Niuxinding Town and Chaoyang Town to the east. The total area is 140 square kilometers, 17.5 kilometers long from east to west, and 12.5 kilometers wide from north to south.
