The main responsibilities of Henan Provincial Mass Art Museum

Henan Mass Art Museum has a complete range of arts and talents. There are 80 employees at present. There are 2 first-class artists, composers 1, 5 research librarians, 2 second-class artists, 9 deputy research librarians1and 9 librarians. These professionals graduated from Central Academy of Fine Arts, Central Conservatory of Music, China Conservatory of Music, China Academy of Fine Arts, Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts, Xi Academy of Fine Arts, Henan University, Zhengzhou University and other institutions of higher learning. The main duty of Henan Mass Art Museum is to guide the development of social and cultural activities in the province and hold large-scale performances and exhibitions in the province. Carry out theoretical research, investigate the development trend of social culture, provide basis for the government's cultural decision-making, and exchange social and cultural information; Protect and rescue the national folk cultural heritage; Organize literary and artistic authors to create healthy and progressive literary and artistic works that reflect the times, life and reality; Cultivate professional cadres in cultural centers (stations) in cities, counties and townships and literary and artistic backbones at the social level.

The Henan Provincial Museum of Mass Art is now "one museum and two sites". Located in the CBD core area of Zhengdong New District, it is the envy of Henan Provincial People's Government in the Tenth Five-Year Plan, with a construction area of 6,700 square meters and an investment of nearly 654.38 billion yuan. It consists of three floors. The dynamic art exhibition hall on the first floor regularly holds various activities with Henan characteristics, such as opera, folk art, pingtan, acrobatics, folk music and folk dance. On the second floor, there is a 2000-square-meter exhibition hall to set up Henan folk art exhibition and also undertake various large-scale exhibitions; Nearly 900 square meters of modern modern art exhibition hall on the third floor holds various exhibitions and cultural activities such as photography, calligraphy and modern art exhibition all the year round. At the same time, there are 50 high-end computer electronic reading rooms on the first floor,1.60m2 dance teaching and research room, multimedia teaching and research room, multi-function lecture hall, modern art information reading room and so on. It has been set up on the third floor to provide professional counseling, consultation and discussion services in various art categories for the society, and strive to build a public cultural service platform. The other plot is located at No.55 Huayuan Road, Zhengzhou City, with an area of 1.9 1 mu and a building area of 3130m2. Library Prison 1986, there are many social organizations such as Henan Children's Art Training Base, Senior Art University, Henan Traditional Chinese Painting Academy, Henan Art Photography Society, Henan Social Dance Art Committee and Henan Children's Art Troupe.
