Danxia Mountain (China Red Stone Park) is located in Renhua County, Shaoguan City, Guangdong Province. With a total area of 292 square kilometers, it is the largest scenic spot in Guangdong Province, a scenic spot dominated by Danxia landforms and a world natural heritage site. The destination of our hiking activity: Bazhai, located on the edge of Danxia Mountain in the National Red Rock Park, is the highest peak of Danxia Mountain. It has been repaired by generations of local kings and thieves, and has become a famous natural fortress during the war in northern Guangdong ----- -- "One man can guard the gate, but ten thousand men cannot open it." Danxia landform is characterized by flat top, steep body and gentle slope, and Bazhai is a typical representative of this type of landform.
On July 31st, we gathered at 8:30 pm. Teammates rushed to the meeting point one after another. Boss Hu and others rushed up and down to purchase their respective supplies and ingredients. After the materials were loaded into the truck, , around 21:30, officially departed from Guangzhou. At around 1 o'clock in the morning, we arrived at the entrance of Bazhai Scenic Area.

Because we went up the mountain directly from the entrance of the scenic spot, it was quite easy to walk all the way. The scenic spot may have been closed for a long time due to the epidemic. Fallen leaves were piled up on the steps along the road, and there were sometimes broken trees lying across the middle of the path. At the same time, the weather after the rain was unusual. It was sweltering and I was sweating profusely along the way.
At about 3:00 in the morning, we crossed the first platform with difficulty, and then after a short rest, we started the most knee-breaking and thrilling section of the trip: Canyon Stairs - Line of Sky - Big Long Staircase . The light at night was extremely poor and the field of vision was limited, so we could only focus on our feet and climbed the long and steep section of the sky one step at a time, and then reached the last step in front of the camp...

I quickly set up my own tent, started organizing my backpack and collecting and stacking the public supplies. Teammates), after doing this, quickly went over to check the water source situation. Unfortunately, the nearest water source to the camp, No. 1 (20 meters away from the camp), the entire pool is now completely dry. There is no sign of water in the spring, maybe because the weather has been dry for too long or it is the dry season in Bazhai. Fortunately, because I had been here several times before, I didn't panic because there was another relatively distant water source No. 2, so I hurried over to check it out. Sure enough... there was water, and the pool was Overflowing, looking up, the water is slowly dripping from an unknown cliff high above my head, like rain, Nice. After checking the water source, I came back and told the team members, who were almost exhausted and sweating, to wash up... Well, Lady first, and then waited until the team members were almost finished washing and came back, I brought the good engine oil, Sam, Zhijun, Gao The minister and other team members went to the water source to take a bath, and the mountain spring water was poured on the body. It immediately felt cold to the bones, and it also took away the fatigue and tiredness from our bodies...
After taking a bath, we were on the way back to the camp. , looking at the horizon from a distance, the sky in the distance is turning fish belly white, it is about to dawn! We exclaimed quietly...sunrise!
Completely sleepless, we sat on the edge of the fence next to the camp. They all seemed to be holding their breath, and they all stopped chatting and slapping each other tacitly, quietly, waiting, looking forward to...
And when the sun showed its dazzling brilliance, all of us I couldn't help but exclaimed, but I was suppressed in my excitement, because some of the team members were already snoring in the tent... But some teammates were still awakened by the screams, then opened the tent and joined the photographers Team...
Under the rising sun, everything around becomes brilliant, dazzling and gorgeous. The pale golden sky, the silhouette-like peaks accompanied by mountain pines, and the sea of clouds shining through the glow make you feel like you are in a magical fairy mountain. And the whole sky and the canyon finally revealed the true face of Lushan Mountain. Teapot Peak directly opposite the camp, the reservoir in the distance, and Wuxian Rock... gradually appeared in front of us.
Facing each other across the mountain, Teapot Peak has a vivid image, with towering cliffs and green trees, which makes you marvel at the miraculous craftsmanship of nature.
According to legend, in ancient times, there were two sisters who were very hospitable. They were vying to pour tea to guests from afar. They accidentally pulled off the handle of the teapot, and the fragrant tea splashed down the Jinjiang River and spread for thirty miles.
At around 6:30, after watching the sunrise, I felt tired and couldn’t stand it anymore, so I quickly climbed into the tent to catch up on some sleep.
At 10:00, after two hours of catch-up sleep, as the team leader, I could only get up and start waking up the team members to wash up and have breakfast. Maybe they were too excited to watch the sunrise in the morning. In fact, most of the team members didn't sleep much. Brother Dalong, Brother Bo, Brother Ju, and other old travel friends maintained their usual work and rest habits. They got up early and started cooking breakfast. As the team leader, I'm really ashamed.
Around 10:30, we set off to see Luoyingya and Dingbazhaiding.
On the way to Luoyingya, there was a fork in the road next to the stone house. The water source is actually a coffin-shaped pool... Hehe.
In fact, the distance is not too far, it takes about 10 minutes to reach Luoyingya. Actually, the signboard of the scenic spot is called: Fairy Scattered Flowers. I think it is too vulgar. I like to call it: Luoyingya. Maybe the season has passed, because in previous years, many unknown wild flowers would bloom all over the roadside, spreading their fragrance. The mountain trails are full of relaxation and joy...
The aisle is very low, so you can only squat and crawl through it... There is a beautiful view, and the teammates are not sleepy anymore.
At Luoyingya, a round of tourists took photos and started their return journey. Heading to Bazhaiding...
On the small platform in front of Bazhaiding, we took a short rest, enjoyed the mountain breeze, and had some road meals to replenish our strength.
After climbing up a cliff-like staircase, there is a viewing platform. This is also the best place to view Teapot Peak. The drunkard's intention is not to drink, but to care about the mountains and rivers. Looking across from the platform, the Teapot Peak on the opposite side has rough lines and vivid images. From the viewing platform, go up the stairs and you will actually reach the top of Bazhai. On the way up, there are piles of fallen leaves, lush vegetation and dense woods on both sides of the road. , the winding path leads to a secluded place, extending straight forward... There are two paths on the top of the mountain, the left path, and going down is another small viewing platform, but because the vegetation is too lush, the view is not particularly wide; the other path, past There is a fake tree made of lightning rods at the back. On the top of the mountain, the woods are dense, the light is dim, and it looks a little eerie, and I feel a little fussy... Let's go back down, collect firewood and dead branches, and prepare for the evening meal...

After landing in Yingya, we climbed to the top of Bazhai. When we came back, we prepared dinner, collected firewood, processed ingredients, and prepared dishes.
