Which province is Hanyang? Brief introduction of Hanyang.
Hanyang is the birthplace of modern industry in China, an important part of Wuhan, the largest city in central China, and the industrial center of Wuhan. Looking at the map of Wuhan drawn at the beginning of the 20th century, from Guishan to Heshan, there are large factories such as Hanyang Iron Works, Hubei Guns Factory and Iron and Steel Pharmaceutical Factory. Today, the Great Hanyang Region includes Hanyang District, Wuhan Economic and Technological Development Zone, Hannan District and caidian district.
Hanyang is located in the north of the Yangtze River and south of the Han River, facing Wuchang and Hankou across the river. In ancient times, Hanyang once existed as an independent Hanyang mansion, which was set side by side with Wuchang mansion in the south of the Yangtze River. It is a twin city in Wuhan, but it was abandoned in the late Qing Dynasty and existed briefly as Hanyang County. Hanyang County was also included in the jurisdiction of Hankou City, and a few years later it merged with Wuchang and Hankou to form today's Wuhan. Now it is called Wuhan three towns together with Wuchang and Hankou.
Hanyang has a long history. It is the earliest of the three towns in Wuhan and has been a scenic spot since the end of the Han Dynasty. There are Guiyuan Temple, Qingchuan Pavilion of Chutian Famous Building, Guqintai with high mountains and flowing water, Hanyang ancient trees, Pomegranate Pagoda and so on.
