The X053 highway starts from Yuantan Town and passes through the first mountain valley called Fengshuling. It passes the Xiahu Mountain Bridge and goes up one kilometer to the second mountain valley. The road passes through the valley, with a cat shape on the left and a catfish head on the right. The concave exit is where the Xiahu Mountain Engineering Department of the 15th Engineering Bureau of China Hydropower Group is located. A road extends northward along the mountain stream on the right, which leads directly to Catfish Valley.

According to legend, when the Dasha River was busy with water transportation, a hill stretched from north to west toward the Dasha River. Its shape resembled a catfish. The locals named it Catfish Mountain, and the ditch was named Catfish Valley according to the mountain. There is water in the Dasha River, and the catfish are alive. The head of the live fish is also known as the Feng Shui treasure land. Previously, a certain surname spent money to buy the fish head and buried it in the ancestral grave.

Things are changing. Over hundreds of years, sediment from the upper reaches slowly accumulated on the river bed, water transportation was interrupted, and the water dived into the sand layer dozens of meters thick and hid.

There is a mountain mouth on the other side of Catfish Valley. I don’t know when, people named it Lao Crow’s Mouth, and the old Crow’s mouth also bent towards the fish head; there is a hill on the left side of the fish head, and people also named it Shaoxing Mountain. There is a "stone cover to cover the fish"; where the fish head is adjacent to the river, there is a long bun, which people named Cat-shaped; on the other side of the river, behind the Li family's old house in Xiahu Mountain, there is a mountain peak, which is named Human-shaped Mountain, Human-shaped Mountain The mountain bag on the next left is called net bag. There is a net, an old crow's mouth, a hood shape, and a cat shape. The poor fish has no way to survive and turns into a dead catfish. The ancestral grave where a certain surname is buried has also been moved away.

Nowadays, the X053 highway has pressed the cat-shaped tail under the roadbed and cannot jump; the old crows have also disappeared because of the passing of the highway; the gray rocks of the Shaoxing Mountain have disappeared and are covered with green; one hundred The multi-meter-high Hushan Lake Dam intercepted 200 million cubic meters of water. The deep pool at the foot of the dam was close to the fish head, and the catfish was alive again.

Entering Catfish Valley, you can see everything green and green. Walking on the ancient stone riverbed, there are endless exotic flowers and rare broad-leafed evergreen trees on both sides.
