Which district in Shantou is the most prosperous?
Jinping district is the central city of Shantou, the political, economic, cultural and commercial center of Shantou, the most prosperous area of Shantou, and the seat of Shantou University and the municipal government. The whole jurisdiction is located on the flat dam on the north bank of Rongjiang River. There are only a few mountains around Li Antang in the north, and most of the rest are plains. The urban area is built on the east bank of Dagang River, and the houses in the city are very dense, clustered and distributed in blocks.

1, Longquan rock
Longquan Rock is located at the eastern foot of Pu Sang, about one kilometer northwest of Pengzhou Village, jinping district, Shantou City. It was covered by a big stone. The cave is called Baguatang and covers an area of about 64.4 square meters. According to the inscription "Lingquanyan", monks built temples here before the Ming Dynasty.
2. Pengzhou Lock City Site
Pengzhou Lock City Site is located in Pengzhou Village, Top Street, jinping district, Shantou City. It was built in the 21st year of Hongwu in Ming Dynasty (1394). The circumference of the city is about 2000 meters, the stone wall is about 5 meters high, and there are four gates. It will be completed in five years (1625) tomorrow.
3. Qilu Fort
Qilu battery is located in Haibin Road, Shantou City. It was built in the 13th year of Tongzhi in Qing Dynasty (1874) and completed in the 5th year of Guangxu in Qing Dynasty (1879). This is a round battery with unique architectural features. The whole building is made of granite, so it is commonly called stone fort. 1989 was announced by the provincial government as the third batch of provincial cultural relics protection units.
