What causes the car water tank temperature to be too high? What are the dangers and what to do?
Causes:
1. Antifreeze leakage, fan not rotating, water tank blocked, kettle failure, water temperature sensor failure, etc.
2. It is caused by water pipe leakage and insufficient cooling water. If this happens, you can add distilled water or purified water for emergency, and then repair it when convenient. Just be careful not to open the water tank cover when the car is hot to avoid being burned by the water vapor sprayed out under strong pressure from inside.
Solution
1. Find a safe place to park, but do not turn off the engine immediately. Keep the engine idling to continue dissipating heat, and open the engine cover to increase the speed of heat dissipation. Do not try to continue driving when the water temperature is too high or even the pot is boiling to avoid causing major machine damage.
2. If the temperature of the car water tank is too high and if appropriate treatment is not taken immediately, the engine may burn out and cause serious machine damage accidents. When the water temperature gauge pointer approaches the red zone, or the water temperature warning light comes on, you must pull over and turn off the engine for inspection. This is the safest approach.
