Which province is Chaonan in?

Chaonan, located in Guangdong Province, was named after being located in the south of the former Chaoyang City (county level). The word "facing south" is the abbreviation of "facing south". Chaonan District is located in the southwest of Shantou City, bordering the South China Sea in the east, Puning in the west, Huilai in the south and Chaoyang District in the north.

The coastline of Chaonan District is 14.7 km long, the sea area is over 4,000 square kilometers, the mountainous area is 382,300 mu, and the cultivated land area is 208,200 mu, accounting for 29% of the total cultivated land area in Shantou.
