Chuntai Xiaori

Yichuntai is located on Zhongshan Middle Road in the urban area, the commanding height of the ancient city of Yuanzhou, with an altitude of 130.4 meters. In the past, it was known as "the spectacular sight of a state, a tourist attraction for thousands of families" interest". In the first year of Emperor Yuanguang of the Han Dynasty (134 BC), Liu Cheng, son of Changsha King Liu Fa, was granted the title of Marquis of Yichun and built Wutai in Yichun. According to Yan Song's research, the five terraces are: Yichun Terrace, Fairy Terrace, Phoenix Terrace, Huacheng Terrace and Hugang Terrace. According to folklore, five turtles entered Yichun City at night and were drunk by Yangshan God. Four turtles escaped, but one turtle had no time to escape and turned into Yichun Terrace, so Yichun Terrace is also called "Guishan". Yichuntai was built a long time ago, three hundred years earlier than the Yellow Crane Tower, one of the three famous towers in the south of the Yangtze River, five hundred years earlier than the Yueyang Tower, and eight hundred years earlier than the Tengwang Pavilion. The building on the top of Yichun Terrace was originally the Yangshan Xing Temple, which was a place for worshiping the Yangshan Dragon. In the old days, there were many buildings, pavilions, temples and palaces in and around Yichuntai. The Mercury Cauldron on the stage is very famous and was imitated by Shengjin Pagoda Temple in Nanchang. It was turned into a park during the Republic of China.

Huacheng Evening Bell

Huacheng Rock is located in the northwest suburbs of the city and on the north bank of Xiujiang River, with an altitude of 163 meters. The cave has secluded stone monsters and self-formed rock ravines. It is famous for its "clear and mysterious" and has always been praised as "the most beautiful place in the south of the Yangtze River" and "natural picture". Many literati in the past dynasties have written poems about it. In the early Qing Dynasty, Shi Runzhang, the governor of Huxi Road, and Wu Nandai, the prefect of Yuanzhou, also sang here. These two people were both praised as upright officials in the Rouge case in "Liao Zhai".

Yuanshan Towering Green

Yuanshan, formerly known as Wuli Mountain, is located behind Baimutou Village, Chuntai Township, 2 kilometers north of the city. During the Tang Dynasty, a poet described the beauty of Yichun's mountains and rivers with the sentence "Yuanshan Mountain is a large and small double snail, and the beautiful water flows from east to west." There are two mountains in Yuanshan Mountain. There is a small mountain facing each other 0.5 kilometers to the west of the mountain. It is called Xiaoyuanshan Mountain (also known as Wangjiajian). The Big Yuanshan Mountain is 208 meters above sea level. It is said that the ancient hermit Yuan Jing lived here in seclusion and was buried beside it. . Yuanshan is named after Yuan Jing, and Yuanzhou is named after Yuanshan. The Xiujiang River flowing through Yichun was named Nanshui in ancient times, and was later renamed Yuan River. With Yuanshan as the center, Yuanshan Park is now under construction.

Diaotai Yanyu

Located in Xiapu, the eastern suburbs of the city, there are two fishing platforms: one is in Leitan, Datang Village, about 3 kilometers away from the city, called Leitan Diaoyutai. ; One is Zhenshan in Kanshang Village, about 5.5 kilometers away from the city, which is called Zhenshan Diaotai. Leitan is located on the north bank of the bend of Yuan River. The hills run from north to south and end at the river, forming a rock wall. "It is said that there is a dragon lurking here." There is a steep rock beside the pool, named "Diaoyutai". There used to be a temple next to the platform, named "Duobao Temple". Zhenshan, also known as Yanshan, has two rocks on the bank of a small river at the foot of the mountain that extend into the river like boats. According to legend, Peng Gooyun, a hermit from Yichun in the Tang Dynasty, once hid here to fish. Peng Gouyun is proficient in the study of yin and yang diagrams and does not seek to be educated. Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty sent an envoy to welcome him to Beijing with a Pu Lun. Peng Gooyun came to Beijing, paid homage to the official, but was not accepted, so he resigned and returned to his hometown. Therefore, it is called Zhengjun Diaoyutai, also known as Zhenshan Diaoyutai.

Luzhou Yinyue

Luzhou is also known as Zhuangyuanzhou, so named because Lu Zhao, the number one scholar in the Tang Dynasty, studied here. It is located on the northeast side of the city, in the center of Xiujiang River downstream of Yichun Bridge. It is in the shape of a boat, commonly known as the shape of a duck. During the Ming Dynasty, the censor Liu Wan (later changed his surname to Gao Wan) purchased this island and built Luzhou Bookstore to teach his students. Yan Song once studied there. Sanyuan Pavilion was built in the late Ming Dynasty, and the Wenbiao Pavilion was built behind the pavilion the following year to commemorate Lu Zhao. The two pavilions are magnificent in scale, standing in the middle of the river, and are surrounded by "stone banks and high walls" around the island. Historically, Luzhou was a gate of Yichun Feng Shui, so trees were planted to strengthen the Feng Shui. Later it became a deserted island and was once a livestock farm. It is now Zhuangyuanzhou Park and has a swimming pool. Wenbiao Pavilion was also rebuilt, which can be called a scenic spot.

Nanchi Yongzhu

Located in Zhuquan on the south side of Chengnan Railway Station, next to the ancient road from Yichun to Anfu, there is a rectangular pool 14 meters long and 4.75 meters wide. It is surrounded by bluestones and there is a stone arch bridge in the middle. The bridge is 4.75 meters long and 2.2 meters wide. The clear spring gushes out from the bottom of the pit, hence the name "Yongkeng Spring", also known as "Yongzhu Spring". There is a spring pool that is more than ten feet wide. The spring gushes out horizontally like pearls, hence the name Pearl Spring. During the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty, a platform was built on the spring, and a building was built under the platform, with eaves connecting the buildings, facing Yichun Terrace.

During the Shunzhi period of the Qing Dynasty, the prefect Hu Xisheng built a pavilion on the pond, which was named "Guanwo Pavilion" (also known as "Jianwo Pavilion"). During the Republic of China, there was a nunnery beside the spring. In May 1984, the spring pool was listed as a key cultural relic protection unit of the city.

Yungu Waterfall

It is located in Laoshan, Tanxia Village, Wentang Township, 35 kilometers southwest of the city. The mountains are winding, with luxuriant forests and bamboo trees, mist and flying clouds, gurgling mountain springs, and a variety of scenes. There is a clear spring on the top of the mountain, and a waterfall flies out of the 160-meter-high cliff. On it, it looks like a white dragon, slipping out of the green valley; in the middle, a waterfall pours on the uneven cliffs on both sides, and finally pours into a deep pool, landing on a stubborn rock as far away as a tiger, roaring like thunder. Thousands of broken beads flew up. In the pool, the waves surged and raindrops kept falling. There was mist all around. It drizzles all day long, the sun shines slantingly, and the rainbows appear in pairs, making it appear strange and ever-changing. "The waterfall is always in the haze, and the water splash always swims with the clouds." The original title is: Cloud Valley Waterfall. According to research, this scene was originally called "Snow Valley Waterfall", which refers to Yangshan Snow Valley Pool Waterfall. Later it was moved to Wentang Liufang Laoshan Waterfall and was renamed "Yungu Feitan". The waterfall has three or four stacks up and down, more than 160 meters high, 3 to 4 meters wide, and 10 meters wide in some places. It is one of the longest waterfalls in the country. It is now part of Mingyue Mountain Scenic Area and has been developed.

Snowy Yangshan Mountain

Yangshan Mountain is about 40 miles away from the urban area of ​​Yichun. It is named because of its "towering ten thousand meters high and inaccessible". When summer comes, clouds rise to the top and rain begins. The mountains and rivers are breathtaking, the stone paths linger, the waterfalls are rushing, and the snow is capped. The climate here is unique. Snow also occurs in Mengchun and mid-spring, and the snow often remains there for dozens of days. As soon as winter enters, Yangshan Mountain becomes slightly overcast and begins to snow. Whenever the snow and clouds open, the snow is crystal clear in the Jiyun Peak area at an altitude of 1,034 meters, which persists for a long time, forming a magnificent snow scene in the mountains, which is pleasing to the eye. This scenic spot in the south of the Yangtze River is called "Yangshan Snow". Yangshan was regarded as the "zhenshan of the state" in ancient times. In the Han Dynasty, people worshiped the god of mountains. During the Yuan Dynasty, Yangshan temples were distributed in almost half of the world. Han Yu once prayed for rain. At the foot of the mountain is Taiping Xingguo Temple, the birthplace of the Weiyang Sect of Zen Buddhism. The word "terraced fields" first appeared in Fan Cheng's diary of his visit to Yangshan. In the Northern Song Dynasty, Yangshan caused a sensation in the court because of the production of a seven-stalked "Jiahe". Yangshan "Chouping" tea is a famous historical tea.
