The legend of Mount Tai
The following are some legends about Mount Tai:
Pangu opened the sky to Dongyue, headed by Dongyue. There are countless famous mountains in the world. Why did the emperors and all living beings in the past dynasties only respect Dongyue and Mount Tai? This starts with Pangu, the founder of the world.
Legend has it that a long time ago, when the world was first formed and the heaven and earth were separated, there was a man named Pangu who grew up between the sky and the earth. The sky rose one foot higher every day and the earth became one foot thicker every day. , Pangu also grew ten feet taller every day. Day after day, year after year, he lived upright like this. After a long period of eighteen thousand years, the sky was extremely high, the earth was extremely thick, and Pangu grew extremely tall. The air he breathed turned into wind, the sound of his breathing turned into thunder, and his eyes blinked. , flashes of blue light, this is lightning. When he is happy, the sky becomes bright and sunny, and when he is angry, the sky becomes cloudy and rainy. Later, Pangu slowly aged, and finally passed away. In an instant, the giant fell to the ground. His head became Dongyue, his belly became Zhongyue, his left arm became Nanyue, his right arm became Beiyue, his feet became Xiyue, his eyes became the sun and moon, and his hair It became vegetation, and the fat became rivers. Because Pangu created the world and created the world, later generations respected him as the ancestor of mankind, and his head became Mount Tai. Therefore, Mount Tai was called the supreme "No. 1 mountain in the world" and became the first of the five mountains. Sima Qian and "Heavier than Mount Tai, lighter than a feather" Sima Qian, a famous historian, thinker and writer in the Western Han Dynasty, is well known for his admiration for Mount Tai. In the first year of Yuanfeng in the Western Han Dynasty, Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty consecrated Mount Tai for the first time. As a historian, Sima Qian's father was supposed to come to Mount Tai to participate in the consecration, but he stayed in Luoyang for some reason. He regarded participating in the Fengchan ceremony as a major event in his political life: he was extremely regretful and disappointed that he could not travel eastward to attend the Fengchan ceremony. He finally became ill and bedridden due to worry. At this time, Sima Qian happened to meet his father after returning from a trip, so he held Sima Qian's hand and said with tears: "Our ancestors were officials in the Zhou Dynasty. Our distant ancestors also made great contributions to the Xia Dynasty. They were the leader of hundreds of officials. Later generations gradually If you are weak, will the heaven be destroyed by me? If you can succeed the official position of Taishi, you can inherit the ancestral legacy. Now the emperor of the Han Dynasty has inherited the great tradition of conferring Zen on Mount Tai for thousands of years, but I can't accompany him. , This is destined! After my death, you will definitely succeed the official position of Taishi. When you become Taishi, don't forget my desire to write books and establish legends." Sima Qian saw from his father's words that he would participate in the Feng Chan. The Taishan ceremony is so important to the glory of the ancestors. Sima Qian lived up to his father's wishes. Even after being castrated, he remained determined to endure humiliation and complete his father's unfinished business. In the "Book of Reporting to Ren An" to his friend Ren An, he expressed his painful mood after being tortured, and mentioned his intention to write "Historical Records" and his determination to complete it. In this famous letter, Sima Qian integrated Mount Tai into the famous saying of the ages: "Everyone is destined to die, which may be heavier than Mount Tai or lighter than a feather." It can be seen that in Sima Qian's mind, Mount Tai is a solemn, majestic, majestic and lovely place. symbol of affection. Later, people used "Taishan" and "Hongmao", two objects with great contrast in weight, to describe two things with great disparity in weight.
The origin of Bixia Yuanjun. Everyone who climbs Mount Tai, whether domestic or foreign guests, does not fail to pay homage to Taishan's grandma, Bixia Yuanjun. Some gave generously and gave away money; some kowtowed devoutly and fell to the ground. It is said that Bixia Yuanjun can bless all living beings and eliminate diseases and disasters, so the incense of Mount Tai is still lingering. Every spring, many people come from other places to offer incense and make wishes. However, they may not know the origin of Bixia Yuanjun.
It is said that after Jiang Ziya assisted King Wu of Zhou to establish the Zhou Dynasty, the world was unified. King Wu believed that the ministers had made great contributions to the founding of the country and should be heavily rewarded. However, after much deliberation, he could not find a suitable gift. Finally, King Wu came up with a great idea and distributed all the territory in the country to the ministers. In this way, it not only shows the generosity of King Wu, but also explains his trust in the ministers; at the same time, it tests whether the ministers are really loyal to the emperor and serve the country; moreover, King Wu can be relaxed and happy like this, and can be his "Emperor" at leisure. That's it. Having made up his mind, King Wu handed over the power of conferring gods to the military advisor Jiang Ziya and asked him to entrust the princes with the title.
But it is said that Jiang Ziya divided the princes and sealed off all other famous mountains, rivers and geomantic treasures in the country, leaving only Dongyue and Taishan.
Jiang Ziya had known for a long time that Mount Tai was majestic and beautiful, and was a good place for people to visit. He originally planned to leave Mount Tai to himself, but who knew that Cheng Yaojin showed up halfway, and King Wu's escort general Huang Feihu came to visit him. He must be granted the title of Mount Tai. The two were discussing, but someone leaked the news. Huang Feihu's sister, Huang Fei, also came to Jiang Ziya to ask for territory, saying that King Wu promised her to come to Jiang Ziya. Now it's great, all three of them have their sights set on the treasure land of Mount Tai, but they can't all sit there! What should we do? At this point, the Huang brothers and sisters alone were enough for Jiang Ziya to worry about, so he had to give up the idea of sitting on Mount Tai. However, it would be a pity to give up. When he saw that one of the Huang brothers and sisters was meritorious by virtue of escorting, and the other was fighting against King Wu in the background, the two of them were red-faced, so he angrily said to them: "Okay, you two, don't fight for anyone, don't rob anyone." , Whoever climbs Mount Tai first based on his own ability, Mount Tai will belong to him." When Huang Feihu heard this, he couldn't help but clapped his hands and exclaimed. He thought: With my strength, can Mount Tai be as good as Concubine Huang? However, Huang Ji, who was single and alone, did not show any fear and agreed.
Huang Feihu is a martial artist with well-developed limbs and a simple mind. When the competition date comes, he rides on his unicorn and travels day and night from Kyoto to Mount Tai. Huang Fei racked her brains for the competition and finally came up with a clever plan. At the beginning of the competition, she first took off one of her shoes, used a magic trick to throw the shoe on the top of the Jade Emperor, and then rushed towards Mount Tai in a hurry. When Huang Fei climbed Mount Tai, her brother was already waiting impatiently at the Nantian Gate. Seeing that Concubine Huang was late, he said to her: "If you can't do it, you can't do it. Don't show off. You should be convinced this time, right?" "It's really unreasonable! I was here first. I thought something happened to you on the way, so I went to pick you up, but I didn't expect you to take a detour." Huang Fei said seriously. "Don't be so messy. You said you arrived first. What evidence is there?" Huang Feihu was really worried. "Is there evidence? Of course there is, come and see." Huang Feihu followed his sister to the Jade Emperor's Peak, and saw one of Huang Fei's embroidered shoes placed squarely on the stone flat. Despite the evidence, Huang Feihu was unconvinced from the bottom of his heart and couldn't help scolding his sister: "You are being naughty." Huang Fei said unhurriedly: "It depends on your ability, how can you be naughty?" Huang Fei knew that the paper was full of lies. If you can't hold back your anger, it's easy to deal with your brother alone, but Jiang Ziya and the others will be in trouble when they come. She looked helpless and said to her brother: "We two brothers and sisters, you should respect me and give way to me, regardless of you and me. Let's do it this way; I live on the mountain and you live at the bottom of the mountain; we can take care of Mount Tai." Right? "In this way, Huang Feihu, who came first, turned out to be a coward who didn't know the world; Huang Fei, who came later, turned into a generous and good person; Huang Feihu rolled his eyes in anger. But there was no other way, as she was the sister of his own mother, so she had no choice but to agree. When Jiang Ziya arrived, he knew at a glance that Huang Feihu had been deceived by his sister. But when he saw that the Huang brothers and sisters had already negotiated, he couldn't tell the truth any more, so he had to resort to his own plan. He named Huang Feihu the God of Mount Tai and Huang Fei as the Yuanjun Bixia. Xia Temple. Grandma Taishan When Grandma Taishan was choosing a place, she visited Culai Mountain once. She found that there was a large wasteland around Taipingding, which was covered with various medicinal materials and various flowers and plants, with more than 300 kinds. Grandma Taishan liked this place and these flowers very much, so she named this place "Hua Slope". After she lived in Mount Tai for a long time, she would go to Culai Mountain every May to enjoy the flowers. When she came, she was pushed up the mountain in a cart, leaving rut marks on the mountain. This is the origin of Rut Mountain. She thought that although these flowers were good, they needed to be managed well, so she brought a monk from Mount Tai and asked him to grow flowers and medicine for her on the flower slope, so there was a mountain next to the flower slope, which looked like a monk's The top of the head is called "monk's head". The monk watered the flowers of Grandma Taishan here all year round. The next year, Grandma Taishan came again, and the monk asked her a few questions and asked her to find a solution: first, there is not enough water here; second, there are often cows here eating flowers. According to the monk's request, Grandma Taishan ordered two pools near Huapo, one called "Shangchi" and the other "Xiachi". The water in the two pools was used for watering flowers; With a shake, two stones came out, called "Cow Clamping Stones". If the cow comes here, it will be caught. The third year she came again, and sat in a place to rest for a while. She saw many people going up the mountain to collect firewood. Their shoes were worn out, and they continued to wear them after wrapping them with kudzu and wattle branches.
Grandma Taishan felt very pitiful and felt that she should give some charity to the people, so she took off one of the hairpins on her head and said, "Become an awl and help the people to tap their shoes." The hairpin turned into a shining mountain cone. She then asked Pueraria lobata and Jingtiao to circle Zhuishan for the common people to mend their shoes. Grandma Taishan went to the mountain, met the monk, and said to him: "Your flowers are well cultivated, but they have not met my requirements." The monk said: "The water in the upper pool and the lower pool is too big, and the flowers cannot bear it. Find a way to water the flowers without letting them get waterlogged. "Grandma Taishan flicked her sleeves again, and a spring appeared on the mountain. No matter whether it was spring, summer, autumn or winter, it would always flow away bit by bit. Water drips down to water the flowers. It is now "Dita Spring". Grandma Taishan later felt that it was uncomfortable to see flowers like this every year, so she said to the monk, "Can you think of a way for me to stay comfortably for a few days every year?" The monk said, "You Let those people down there build you a Guanyin Tower!" Grandma Taishan sent a monk to disguise herself as an ordinary person and went down to the village to ask the people to build a Guanyin Tower for Grandma Taishan. The people donated stones and materials and built a Guanyin Tower on the flower slope. Grandma Taishan felt that the people should be rewarded for their efforts, so she flicked her sleeves and a big crack opened on the flower slope. In the crack were two urns, one called "rice urn" and the other "noodle urn". Crops were grown in these two urns, and there was a bumper harvest every year. The common people went up the mountain to collect firewood. After eating the pancakes, they used the pancake baggage to wrap a bag of rice and a bag of noodles from the urn, and then went home. Later, Grandma Taishan invited her male and female entourage to come see the flowers. In this way, it was very inconvenient to go to the toilet, so Grandma Taishan danced her sleeves again, and three strange-shaped stones appeared on the mountain, which were called "Three people don't meet." Grandma Taishan picked a lot of flowers in Huashan and wanted to take them back, but Can't get it. One of her female attendants said to her: "Didn't you bring a washbasin, a mirror and a comb box? Can't we just put the flowers in the comb box?" Grandma Taishan said yes. Opening the comb box, there was a comb and a hairpin inside. Grandma Taishan took the comb away. She felt that the hairpin was of no use, so she threw it down the mountain. Over time, it turned into a stone that looked like a hairpin. Daizongfang According to legend, in order to monopolize Mount Tai, Bixia Yuanjun used various methods to defeat many opponents and finally became the master of the mountain. Even so, Bixia Yuanjun is still greedy. Relying on the power of her father, the Jade Emperor, she continued to expand her jurisdiction to the surrounding areas. This aroused the indignation of the gods from all walks of life, and everyone went to Jiang Ziya, who was in charge of the power of deification, to complain. One day, Jiang Ziya came to Mount Tai with the "List of Conferred Gods" and delineated the jurisdiction of Bixia Yuanjun: starting from the top of Mount Tai, each side has jurisdiction over fifty miles. Bixia Yuanjun felt that the ground she was in charge of was small, so she started quarreling with Jiang Ziya on the spot. Jiang Ziya was neither angry nor angry, and persuaded him nicely: "Yuanjun! If you think the ground is small, we can discuss it again!" "How to discuss it?" Bixia Yuanjun asked. Jiang Ziya said calmly: "You can find something and throw it down the mountain. You can take care of where the thing falls. Do you think it will work?" Bixia Yuanjun thought to himself, just rely on my ability and If you have enough strength, you can throw it 80 miles without any problem! Then he agreed and said, "Okay, let's do it like this! However, we must keep our word and no one is allowed to talk back!" "It's a deal and we'll never talk back!" Jiang Ziya said seriously and seriously. At this time, Bixia Yuanjun bent over to pick up a stone as big as the mouth of a bowl, and raised his hand to throw it down. Jiang Ziya hurriedly stopped him and said, "Wait! Stones are everywhere. How can you find them if you throw them down the mountain?" ? Even if you find it, it won't be easy if other gods don't admit it! In my opinion, it's better to throw something that no one else has. "Bixia Yuanjun also thinks this is reasonable, but he can't find anything suitable for the moment. , murmured to himself: "What can I throw away?" Jiang Ziya said slowly: "In my opinion, no one else has the embroidered shoes you are wearing. Throw them out so that you can find them easily." , no one else dares to deny it!" After hearing this, Bixia Yuanjun thought: Yes, I threw an embroidered shoe down the mountain and held one in my hand, who dared not to acknowledge it? ! So he took off an embroidered shoe and threw it down the mountain with all his strength. After throwing away the embroidered shoe, Jiang Ziya, Bixia Yuanjun and other gods found the embroidered shoe at the foot of the mountain. The embroidered shoe was stuck on the ground with the heel facing up and the head facing down, resembling a small square gate. They calculated the mileage and found that it was only about twenty miles from this place to the top.
At this time, Bixia Yuanjun realized that he had fallen into Jiang Ziya's scheme, but he couldn't resist, so he had to acquiesce. Later, people built a gate here and named it Daizongfang, which became the starting point for climbing Mount Tai. At the foot of Mount Tai, anyone who climbs from Tai'an Beiguan must use this as the starting point to climb up. Huzhong in front of Tiankuang Hall of Dai Temple. Under the terrace in front of Tiankuang Hall of Baidai Temple, there is a not very tall cypress tree in the middle of the corridor. There is a scar on the south side. It is said that the fuso stone in front is turning three times. Circle, turn it around three times, and then go north to touch the scar of the cypress tree. If you can touch it accurately, it is a good sign. If you ask for a child from the God of Mount Tai, you will get a child. If you pray for blessings, you will get good luck. If you want to get rich, you will get it. Great wealth. But there are so many tourists that you can’t get it right. Although this cypress has an unattractive appearance and does not look old, it has a very touching story. Legend has it that since Wu Zetian was summoned to the palace by Emperor Gaozong Li Zhi, she gradually became favored, and soon she deposed Queen Wang and replaced her with Wu Zetian. Li Zhi was benevolent and incompetent, and the government could not decide major matters. The prime minister had to make suggestions and then give his approval. Although Wu Zetian was a member of the female class, she was proficient in literature and history, and had the skills to govern people. After she became the queen, she gradually gave instructions and memorials to the emperor and participated in political affairs during the dynasty. As Prince Xian grew up, he was very dissatisfied with his mother's interference in government affairs and often had different political opinions. This angered Wu Zetian and led to her death. Shi Zhong, the minister who followed Prince Xian, was already very disgusted with Empress Wu's participation in politics. When he saw that the Prince was murdered, in order to show his loyalty to the Prince, he drew his sword and committed suicide by caesarean section to show his dissatisfaction with Empress Wu. After Shi Zhong's death, his soul came to Mount Tai in Dongyue and met the Mount Tai God. He sued Wu Zetian for appointing cruel officials and killing innocent people indiscriminately, including his own son, and asked the mountain god to punish him for his crime. The God of Mount Tai felt his loyalty and turned it into a cypress tree, standing in front of the temple to guard the mountain god day and night, and named it "Gu Zhongbai". The scars on the south side of the tree that visitors see today are the sword marks where Shi Zhong had a disembowelment. Most of the inscriptions in Dai Temple were erected by emperors and generals and written by famous people. There are the Li Si Stele, the Zhang Qian Stele, the Hengfang Stele, and the Mandarin Duck Beer ingeniously named by Wu Zetian. People Everyone came here to watch it. But there is also a stone monument by a famous person, which is particularly eye-catching and attracts tourists from all over the world, because there is a rather interesting story circulating here. According to legend, in the Northern Song Dynasty, two superstars in the literary world, Wang Anshi and Su Dongpo, came to Mount Tai together to visit. They watched Mount Tai reach the sky, watched the nine o'clock smoke all over the world, admired the tall and beautiful Qin pines and Han cypresses, and listened to the beautiful birds singing by the stream. It sings for a long time, and wherever it goes, it recites poems and composes poems, and the pleasure of traveling is not diminished. But when the two literary giants came to the Loi Temple, they first went to the Tiankuan Hall to pay homage to the God of Mount Tai, and then began to read the calligraphy and view the stele. They accidentally discovered that a stone stele was slightly tilted to the east, which aroused their interest, and the entourage also talked about it. , some say that after hundreds of years, the turtle below can no longer hold its strength; others say that the turtle wants to go to the East China Sea as a show to others, but there are different opinions. At this time, Wang Anshi asked Su Dongpo with great interest: "Brother Su, what do you think of this monument? Do you also want to write a poem?" Su Dongpo remembered that Wang Anshi had made a joke with him and "demoted" him to Huangzhou. , although he solved the mystery of "Autumn flowers do not fall as much as spring flowers", he also suffered a lot. He wanted to use this to tease Wang Anshi, so he said thoughtfully: "I hate that Anshi was not upright back then." After saying this, he signaled Wang Anshi continued. Wang Anshi is a talented thinker, and he is not an idle person. As soon as he heard "Anshi is not right", he already knew that this guy was plotting against him, so he calmly chanted: "To this day, I am still facing Dongpo." Tao, he also cured the person's body, causing everyone to laugh. Su Dongpo also had to admire. The Li Si Stele, a treasure of inscriptions in the Dai Temple. In the Dai Temple, which is home to a forest of inscriptions, the most precious and valuable one is naturally the Li Si Stele from the Qin Dynasty. It was engraved in 209 BC. Although it has gone through hundreds of generations, its charm still remains. Li Si's stele has always been highly praised. Lu Xun praised it as "the origin of Han and Jin inscriptions" and it can be called an artistic treasure. It is as powerful as a flying dragon and as delicate as a hibiscus emerging from the water, which fully demonstrates its artistic charm. It is precisely because it attracts worldwide attention and is regarded as a treasure that it has had an extraordinary experience. It is said that this stele was engraved by Qin Prime Minister Li Si on the orders of Qin II Hu Hai, and was erected on the Daiding Jade Girl Pond to sing his praises. During the Jiajing period of the Ming Dynasty, in order to prevent wind erosion and rain, it was moved to the east veranda of Bixia Temple. In the fifth year of Emperor Qianlong's reign in the Qing Dynasty, the Bixia Temple suddenly caught fire. The fire took advantage of the wind and burned more and more fiercely. As a result, the Bixia Temple was burned to a complete mess. Li Si's stele was also missing and its whereabouts are unknown. Many people sighed. pity.
In the 20th year of Jiaqing, Wang Rubi, the magistrate of Tai'an County, was a man who liked to write and write. He had known about the preciousness of Li Qi's stele, but he always lamented that he could not see it in person. After he came to Tai'an, he determined to find it. So he posted notices everywhere, offering a large reward to anyone who informed his whereabouts. Soon, an old man of the Zhao family, who was over ninety years old, came to the county government office supported by his family and said to the county magistrate: "My lord, the county magistrate, I am a bricklayer. When I was building the Jade Girl Pool on the top of the mountain, I saw a broken stele. I don't know. Is it what you are looking for?" The old man from the Zhao family told him the shape and handwriting of the stele one by one, and said, "It was thrown into the Jade Girl Pond. I hope you will send someone to check." Wang Zhixian heard what Zhao Weng said. According to the introduction, it was known that nine out of ten times it was the monument of Li Si. Naturally, he was overjoyed and was not afraid of the high mountains and dangerous roads, so he invited the former magistrate Jiang Yin to accompany him up the mountain. Sure enough, I found a fragment of the stele from the Jade Girl Pond. After washing it, I could clearly see the words "Chen Si, Chen Go and I will die without asking" and so on. It was indeed Li Si's original work. So Wang Zhixian celebrated greatly, built a house and a palace on the top of the mountain, and built a beautiful small pavilion in the west of Dongyue Temple, named "Baosi Pavilion", and later changed to "Dubei Pavilion". When he moved in, a grand ceremony was held, and the old man Zhao was rewarded heavily. It has been seventy-five years since he was lost and recovered. Time flies like an arrow, the sun and the moon fly by, and another seventeen years have passed in a flash. In the twelfth year of Daoguang's reign, the Dongyue Temple was in disrepair and the west wall collapsed in a heavy rain. This disaster affected the "Reading Stele Pavilion" and the stele pavilion was destroyed. When Xu Zongqian, the newly appointed magistrate of the county, learned about it, he hurriedly sent people to find it from the rubble, moved the monument down the mountain, and placed it between the walls of Dai Temple Taoist Temple. In the 16th year of Guangxu's reign, a thief saw that people regarded this stele as a treasure and thought it was worth a thousand gold, so he stole the stele on a stormy night. After the incident, the immediate magistrate Mao Shuyun ordered the entire city to be under martial law. , Dasuo took ten days, and finally found it under the stone bridge in Beiguan, and placed it again in the Loi Temple. It can be said that it is unusual for a thousand-year-old inscription to survive through the ages and be lost and recovered. The stele of Li Si is now stored in the east throne of Loi Temple. We are truly lucky to see this monument today. We must see this monument when visiting Mount Tai. It would be a great pity not to see it. The Tiankuang Hall is three bricks shorter than the Jinluan Hall in Beijing. The Tiankuang Hall is located in the middle of the Dai Temple and is the main building of the Dai Temple. It is painted with heavy colors, simple and elegant, with double eaves and overlapping corners, like an eagle spreading its wings and about to fly; the gentle breeze blows and the wind chimes ring, making the surrounding area look particularly quiet and refreshing. The magnificent Tiankuang Hall in Tang Dynasty is almost the same as the Jinluan Hall in Beijing in terms of scale and form. It is said that there are countless connections between them! According to legend, a long time ago, this place was just a small mountain temple, surrounded by broken walls and ruins. It was in disrepair, was leaky, and had no protection from wind and rain. The Taoist priest in the temple was very worried about this, and the government would not allocate money, so he decided to save money to build the temple on his own. A year passed in a flash. The Taoist priest collected all the money thrown by the pilgrims and the silver he got from alms, and hid it under the altar of the mountain god. One night, in the dead of night, the Taoist priest took out the money and checked. He found that he had enough money to build the temple. He knelt down devoutly in front of the statue and said: "Master Mountain God, I have given you enough money to build the temple for your old man. It won't be long. Don't worry about the wind and rain, and you will have to suffer like me." Unexpectedly, the Taoist priest's actions were criticized. A thief who came to stay saw him. After the Taoist priest fell asleep, the thief stole all the money under the altar. When the Taoist priest found out the next day, he cried as if he had lost his life. He looked up and saw that the Mountain God was still sitting there with a smile on his face, and he complained: "Master Mountain God, Master Mountain God, I'm almost dying of anxiety, and you're still laughing! I've been frugal for more than a year, and I finally saved this money." , How can you build this temple if you can't even see your own home?" He lay on the bed and fell asleep in a daze. In the haze, he saw the mountain god walking towards him with a smile: "Don't worry, the temple will naturally be repaired, we don't need to do it ourselves. Now the emperor's daughter in the capital is seriously ill, and famous doctors from all over the country have not been able to cure it. I have three bags of incense ash. , you take it to treat her. By then, the temple will be there." After saying that, he took out three bags of incense ash and handed it to the Taoist priest. When the Taoist priest opened his eyes, it turned out that it was a dream, but there were indeed three bags of incense ash in his hand, so he packed up and went to the city. As soon as I arrived in the capital, I saw many people gathered in front of the city gate to read the notice. When I inquired, I found out that the emperor's favorite princess had a strange disease: her face was covered with sores and she was extremely ugly. The emperor ordered that whoever can cure the princess's illness will fulfill any wish of this person. The Taoist priest was so happy that he stretched out his hand to tear off the notice and walked into the palace in a big way. When he arrived at the harem, the Taoist priest saw that the princess was ill, and he was right with the mountain god. However, he thought that by curing the sore, he could build a temple, so he didn't care about anything. Wait for him to apply the ashes.
In this way, the Taoist priest continued for three days. The sore closed on the first day, scabbed on the second day, and was completely healed on the third day, without any scars. The emperor was very happy when he learned that his beloved daughter was cured. He summoned the Taoist priest into the Jinluan Palace and wanted to give him many gold, silver, silk, silk and satin, but the Taoist priest didn't want any of them. The emperor was puzzled that there were still people in the world who were not moved by the treasure, so he quickly asked: "What do you want?" The Taoist priest told the emperor truthfully about how he had saved money to build a temple, and only asked the emperor to build a small temple. Building a small temple was not a trivial matter, so the emperor immediately agreed and asked the Taoist priests to build what kind of temple he wanted. The Taoist priest had never seen the world. He looked around and said, "I think your house is good, so let's build it like this." How could a poor Taoist monk live in the same Jinluan Palace as the emperor? But the emperor has already said it before and will give him whatever he wants. How can he break his promise to the people? He reluctantly said: "Okay, let's just build one like this. It will be three bricks shorter than my Jinluan Palace." If it is three bricks shorter, it will be three bricks shorter. The Taoist priest didn't say anything, so he quickly kowtowed to the emperor to thank him. Therefore, the current Tiankuang Hall is the same as the Jinluan Hall in Beijing, except that it is three bricks shorter. Queen Mother Pond and Luzu Cave The Queen Mother Pond at the east foot of Mount Tai is the fairyland of the Queen Mother. Behind the temple is the small Penglai with quiet scenery. The east tower of this temple overlooks the valley. There is a plaque upstairs with the four characters "The mountain is not high", which means "if there is an immortal, then there is a name". There is a small inlet downstairs, crystal clear to the bottom. When there is heavy mountain rain, it roars like thunder and splashes with waves. This inlet is called Qiuzaiwan, commonly known as Qiuziwan. According to legend, there was a divine Qiu in Xiao Penglai who practiced in the stream. He violated some laws of nature and was imprisoned in this small inlet by the Queen Mother. In the shallow water of this bay, it can neither stir up wind nor make waves. It curls up with its slender body all year round and lives a life of imprisonment. One summer, a crazy old Taoist priest came to Mount Tai. He called himself Shan, and everyone called him Taoist Shan. He traveled around the mountains and rivers during the day, asked for alms and prayed for food, and lived in a cave on the east bank of Qiuzai Bay at night. On the night of the Mid-Autumn Festival this year, the bright moon was in the sky, and the inside and outside of Queen Mother Pond was quiet and refreshing. Taoist Shan took a pot of wine, a flute, and the Four Treasures of the Study to the stone flat in Qiuzaiwan, sat on the ground, drank wine, and played the flute for a while. The melodious sound of the flute attracted the divine Qiu hidden under the water to jump to the surface and keep nodding to the old Taoist. At this time, the old Taoist knocked on the stone ping with his bamboo flute and shouted loudly: "The merits have been fulfilled, and I am now promoted. If I don't leave now, how long will I wait?!" The Taoist priest picked up the brush and made a stroke on the Qiu's head. Look at the Qiu again. Once it rolled in the water, it immediately turned into an ink dragon and flew away into the sky. Over Mount Tai, dark clouds rolled in and heavy rain poured down. After the storm, it became a moonlit world again. From then on, Shan Taoist priest disappeared on Mount Tai. The next day, people saw a large cursive calligraphy written with flying ink on the stone flat, which read: "I came here in the past, and my affairs were all over the country. The rogue Qiujiao knew my face and kept my traces intact." Buried. The three words "Hui Hui Weng" are written in the back.
