First, the origin of the 22nd day of the first month

How did the 22nd day of the first month come about? This should start with the "great virtue" of showing the Holy Spirit and retreating the thieves. There is a story among the villagers. More than 300 years ago, when Zheng (the villagers called him a national victory thief) led troops to attack Longtou Village, the Nanmen Dade, who was worshipped by the villagers, showed great power and turned the village into a mountain, and the sky was filled with dense fog. Make Zheng's military forces dizzy and afraid to approach. Guo Sheng didn't believe it, saying that there was a leading village ahead. How did this happen? Another day later, the same phenomenon appeared again. After several times, Guo Sheng had to bow his head and threatened to ask Master Dade to show him around the village and never hurt the village and people again. So, master Dade showed his talents. In a short time, the smoke dispersed, the mountains disappeared, and the leading village appeared in front of us. Guo Sheng a look, admire deeply. A plaque with the title "Yangyang is here" was presented to Master Dade. Since then, Master Dade has become more respected, responsive and amiable, protecting villagers and people nearby. It is said that the time when Dade retired the thief soldiers was on the 22nd day of the first lunar month, and the villagers thanked God for his kindness. That night, singing and dancing, preparing sacrifices and worshiping Master Dade, the whole village was full of incense and excitement. History calls it "the 22nd night of the first month of the dragon head". On this day every year, the villagers sincerely worship God, and this custom has continued. "The faucet is always hot for twenty-two" has become the mantra of people far and near. Later, the villagers specially designated the 22nd day of the first month of each year as the "Dragon Head Traditional Festival" to commemorate this great master. In modern times, the commemoration of "traditional festivals" is even more grand. Cultural teams are organized in the village, including English songs, gongs and drums, and various other cultural festivals. On that day, there were parades and performances in the whole town. Villagers at home and abroad who left home married their daughters, all went home for reunion, attended traditional festivals and worshipped the great master, and the surrounding villagers also came to watch the excitement. This is a celebration. Since then, Dade's demeanor has become a household name. Virtue is deeply rooted in the hearts of the people, and the master of virtue has become the spiritual pillar of the villagers in Longtou Village. It embodies the spirit of virtue, unites the leading people and inspires the villagers to forge ahead!

Second, on the 21st night of the first month, I paid homage to my uncle.

Before the 21st day of the first month, at the entrance of five natural villages in Longtou Township, tall colored doorplates were set up with Spring Festival couplets hanging on them. Each pair of couplets is crowned with the word "dragon head", and each pair of couplets is embedded with the word "spring", which fully shows the heroic passion of the leading people to welcome the spring and create spring. On the night before welcoming Master Dade on the 22nd day of the first month, that is, on the 21st night, we should worship "Uncle" ("Uncle" is the name of Chaoshan people for the land god, and the 29th day of the third lunar month is uncle's birthday. The "Great Virtue Master" in the faucet actually belongs to the land god and is an uncle, but Chaoshan people collectively refer to the gods as "masters", so "Great Virtue Master Welcome" is also called "Uncle Welcome" in many cases. This evening is very lively! Many overseas Chinese and migrant workers will go home to join this group before the festival.
