Help! What are calpuff, calpost and calmet used for?
The uses are as follows
1. Preprocessing tools
Use a variety of data processing tools to process the original meteorological and terrain data as input data for the CALMET model . The data that needs to be processed include: geographical data MAKEGEO, surface data SMERGE, high-altitude data READ62, and precipitation data PMERGE.
2. Meteorological data processing (CALMET)
CALMET collects a variety of meteorological data and adjusts the data according to the basic principles of terrain and meteorology to produce gridded three-dimensional meteorology. Data engineering CALPUFF is used; the data involved include land use type data, terrain height data, surface observation data, high-altitude sounding data, precipitation data, water observation data, and mesoscale simulation data.
3. Core prediction mode (CALPUFF)
4. Post-processing tools
The results of CALPUFF simulation can be post-processed using the post-processing tools CALPOST and 3D ANALYST . The smoke trajectory, wind field and files can be described in 3D in the result post-processing tool.
