Where was the oil field found?

Oil fields are all found in sedimentary rock distribution areas, and an oil and gas field may have one or more oil and gas reservoirs.

In the same area, oil fields are dominated by oil reservoirs, and gas fields are dominated by gas reservoirs. Oil fields are natural hydrocarbons underground, but they are liquid under surface conditions.

On the contrary, if it is still a gas under surface conditions, it is natural gas. The specific area of natural gas production is natural gas field. The recoverable reserves of oil determine the exploitation value. It is required to accurately calculate the size of oil-bearing area, the number and thickness of oil layers and the oil reserves per unit area.

Extended data

World oil fields:

1, Galval Oilfield

Located in the east of Saudi Arabia, about 500km east of Riyadh, the capital, with proven reserves of174 million tons and annual output of 280 million tons, accounting for 30% of the entire Persian Gulf region, it is the largest oil field in the world. The oil well is a flowing well, and the crude oil contains less wax, mostly light oil, and its freezing point is below -20℃, which is convenient for transportation. There is an oil pipeline that is transported through Rastnula oil port (the largest oil port in the world).

2. Dabugan Oilfield

Located in the southeast of Kuwait, the proven reserves are 9965438+ 1 100 million tons, and the annual output is about 70 million tons. The characteristics of crude oil are similar to that of Gawal Oilfield, and most of it is transported from Mina Ahmadi oil port.

3. Bolivar Oilfield

Located on the Orinoco River Plain in eastern Venezuela. Most of them are heavy oil, with proven reserves of 5.2 billion tons and annual output of 1 10,000 barrels.

4. Safania Oilfield

Located in the northeastern waters of Saudi Arabia, the proven reserves are 3.32 billion tons. Part of the crude oil is shipped to Tripoli, Sidon, and Bahners Port. Part of it is exported to Rastnula.

5. Rumaila Oilfield

Located in the south of Iraq, it was developed in 1950s, close to domestic oil ports and developed rapidly. The proven reserves are 2.6 billion tons, accounting for 60% of the national annual output. Exports pass through three oil ports in the upper reaches of the Persian Gulf, namely Horel Abaya, Minael Bakr and Fao.
