This small village, according to historical records, seems that the people of Changling Village all migrated from Hunan. The village is in a mountainous area, surrounded by mountains one after another. The geography here allows many local characteristics and customs to be preserved here. In 2013, Changling Village was also included in the ranks of traditional Chinese villages.
The residential houses in Changling Village are built along the mountain, gradually getting deeper and higher, and the houses are densely packed. Most of them are well preserved. Many buildings have been selected as key protection objects. Speaking of the buildings here, it is true. The local villagers put a lot of thought into it and there is a lot of wisdom in it.
The ancient village in the village has a reasonable layout and has complete functions from observation and signaling to water supply, food supply, camping, etc. It integrates natural landscape and cultural landscape into one, complementing each other, and has extremely high historical and tourism development value.
A characteristic culture of Changling Village is the Huai Bang Opera Troupe. The troupe is famous far and wide and is known as the first Huai Bang Opera Troupe in Taihang. Huai Bang is a unique local opera in Jiaozuo area (ancient Huaiqing Prefecture). This is a local opera that is played more by the elderly. Many of the roles in the troupe are filled by the elderly. Nowadays, many young people are also included in the ranks of inherited operas. Learn Huai Bang opera here, and the old man personally teaches it. The old man said that Huai Bang in Changling Village was formed during the Yongle period of Hongwu in the Ming Dynasty. Because it is located in a mountainous area, whenever there was a severe drought, people would organize artists in the village to sing around the table and pray for rain without makeup, stage or performance. .
Let’s talk about the development history of Huai Bang Theater:
After liberation, the Huai Bang Theater was established in the village. On the one hand, it activated the cultural life of farmers in mountain villages, and on the other hand, it provided income for the village collective. Project, every time I go out to sing Huai Bang, I always return to the village after a year and a half, and the furthest singing is south of Qinhe River. Whenever there is an important festival, Changling villagers will put on festival costumes and perform. The racecourse in the center of the village is their grand theater, and the slopes and ridges are the grand stands for tourists. In their spare time, villagers would sit in front of their homes, play Huai Bang and sing Huai Bang. Everyone is not going out now! They all stayed in the village to perform.
There were originally nearly 430 people in Changling Village. We are at the end of our rope, and many young people in the village have already gone out to work! The original village, perhaps because the economy here no longer developed, finally evolved into the original village! Most of the people in the village are old people and children, but there are not many young people in their twenties.
On October 13th, the Red Leaf Festival was held here, and you can still eat food in the village, which is now 15 yuan per person. Many people are also worried about whether the road is easy to walk. There is asphalt road all the way, so don’t worry. Regarding the price of food, there are still a few words here. 15 yuan is enough to cover the price. You have to know that there are many people who can eat two or three bowls at a time. However, the rice, noodles, oil and meat in the village are all bought from the bottom of the mountain. If it is transported from the mountain, labor also costs money. If some people really don’t have any money, it’s not a bad idea to find people and come here to eat for free.
