Article 12 The school admissions office is the executive agency of the admissions steering committee. Article 13 The school shall establish an admissions discipline inspection and supervision office, which shall be composed of school leaders and discipline inspection and supervision departments. Chapter 4 Enrollment Plan
Article 14 The school’s provincial and major enrollment plans and related requirements are based on the professional catalog published by the province where students come from. The reserved planned number is 1% of the school's total planned number of general undergraduate enrollments, which is used to adjust the imbalance in the number of online students taking the unified examination in various places.

Chapter 5 Admission Rules
Article 16 School admissions work is carried out under the guidance and supervision of the provincial admissions agencies.
Article 17 There are no restrictions on the ratio of male to female students in schools.
Article 18 Regarding the physical health requirements of candidates, the school implements the "Guiding Opinions on Physical Examination for General College Admissions" and "GB30035-2013 Health Examination Requirements for Crew" and relevant supplementary regulations.
Article 19 There is no limit to the language of the foreign language test for school admission, and the teaching language for admission is English.
Article 20 The proportion of schools applying for access to candidate files is generally 120%; for arts, the admissions office of colleges and universities in the province (autonomous region, municipality directly under the Central Government) where the students are located will provide a list of candidates for transfer.
Article 21 The school gives priority to the candidates who applied for the first choice to our school. In order to ensure the quality of students and reflect the principle of equal rights and interests of candidates, if the first choice is not satisfied, the best will be admitted to non-second-choice candidates. A volunteer candidate. There is no volunteer grade difference. Provinces (municipalities, districts) that have implemented comprehensive reform of college entrance examinations and admissions will select the best students according to the province (municipalities, districts) application rules. The requirements for the subjects to be selected for the admissions majors are announced by the education examination bureau of the province (municipality, district) where the students are from.
Article 22: Professional arrangements for candidates who enter the program:
1. For candidates who enter the program, they will be admitted based on their professional aspirations and their scores from high to low. .
2. Candidates who cannot satisfy their first major preference will be admitted according to their second major preference, and candidates who still cannot satisfy their first major preference will be admitted according to their third preference, and so on until the admissions are full. Priority admission to candidates by any organization or individual is invalid.
3. For provinces that implement “parallel volunteering” admissions, admissions will be based on the principle of “scores first, follow volunteers”. Priority admission to candidates by any organization or individual is invalid.
4. When a candidate cannot satisfy all major aspirations, the candidate who obeys the major adjustment will be assigned to a major that is not fully admitted in the admission plan; if the candidate does not obey the major adjustment, the candidate will be withdrawn.
Article 23: The scores of the art majors admitted to the school shall be based on the joint examination scores of each province. During admission, students shall be selected from high to low according to the sum of the ratio of the cultural scores and the specific requirements of the professional scores of the provincial admissions examination institutes.
Article 24 After new students enroll, the school will conduct a comprehensive review within three months. Those who fail to pass the re-examination will be dealt with by the school according to different circumstances, until the admission qualification is cancelled. Anyone found to have committed fraud will have their admission qualifications revoked.
Article 25 The physical examination standards for school admission candidates shall be in accordance with the "Guiding Opinions on Physical Examination for General College Admissions" promulgated by the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Health, and the China Disabled Persons' Federation and the "General Office of the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Health" The relevant provisions of the General Office’s Notice on Issues Concerning the Cancellation of Hepatitis B Testing in the Physical Examination for Students Enrolled in Ordinary Colleges and Universities (Teaching Office [2010] No. 2) shall be implemented. Candidates with disabilities will be admitted normally if they can take care of themselves, meet the requirements of the major they apply for, and their college entrance examination scores meet the admission standards.
Chapter 6 Admission Physical Examination Standards
Article 26: Physical examination requirements for candidates in each major:
Please be careful if you are color-blind, color-deficient, or have abnormal hearing or smell. Apply for tourism management and hotel management majors. The above majors also require candidates to have no cleft lip, squint eyes, torticollis, obvious splayed steps, bow legs, or hunchback. The skin appearance, especially the face, has no obvious features and defects, such as scars, tattoos, etc. No physical disability, no body odor, no anemia, albinism, hereditary, infectious, allergic diseases, no family history of mental illness, no history of epilepsy, no HBsAg positivity, etc.
Chapter 7 Fee Standards
Article 27 Tuition fees: 26,000 yuan/academic year for an undergraduate degree in arts and sciences, 33,000 yuan/academic year for an undergraduate degree in art majors. The junior college degree for arts and sciences majors is 15,900 yuan/academic year, and the junior college degree for art majors (including performance majors) is 16,800 yuan/academic year.
The school does not accept payment of tuition and miscellaneous fees in cash, and does not accept anyone to pay tuition and miscellaneous fees on their behalf. Students can pay by transferring money to the school account in person, or they can bring their ID cards to the school payment hall to pay by card. For example, parents When paying on behalf of the student, you need to bring your household registration book to prove the identity of the student's parents. Chapter 8 Student Aid Policies
Article 28: Student origin credit student loans, scholarships, grants and other student aid measures are in accordance with the Ministry of Education, Hainan Provincial Department of Education and our school Relevant regulations are implemented.
Article 29 The school provides various scholarships and individual scholarships. The national scholarship is 8,000 yuan/year. Students participating in the competition will receive 20,000 yuan/award at the provincial level or above the ministerial level. Poor students with excellent academic performance can apply for student loans in accordance with relevant national regulations.
Chapter 9 Refund Methods

Chapter 11 Supplementary Provisions
Article 33 This charter applies to the 2021 enrollment of Hainan University of Science and Technology and will come into effect from the date of announcement.
Article 34 This charter is based on national laws, regulations, rules and relevant superior policies. If the school’s previous requirements and regulations regarding enrollment conflict with this Charter, this Charter shall prevail. If this Charter is inconsistent with relevant national policies, the relevant policies of the state and superiors shall prevail. This regulation is interpreted by the Admissions Office of Hainan University of Science and Technology.
