Shenzhen limited shoes lottery
When I first arrived in Shenzhen, I was also very confused; On the way to pursue my dream, I was hurt, but the dream ahead is still clear. ...
Now, I am a stubborn girl coming out of this mountain village, and I am determined to make my own life in Shenzhen. No matter how difficult it is, I will not give up. ...
This article is relatively long, mostly based on my real feelings in Shenzhen this year, hoping to bring you some reference. At the same time, I also want to tell those students who come out from the countryside to go to college, don't be afraid, as long as they are willing to work hard, their efforts will definitely pay off!
Ups and downs, full of thorns
In June 2006, I came to Shenzhen, which was the last semester of my senior three. With the dream of this seaside city and the smugness of just stepping out of school, I hope to have my own sky in this bustling city that only appears on TV and dreams. So in the first few days, I was very busy: submitting my resume online and attending job fairs. I spent a lot of time on my resume at school, and I have been constantly revising and perfecting it myself. As expected, the effect is good. I received a lot of interview notices soon, and I was complacent: I thought I was excellent and would not be buried in Shenzhen, a big city full of talents. [①]
After the previous interviews, I found that their salary was really too little, because I had no experience and didn't graduate. Then I attended a large job fair for fresh graduates, and I got a lot of opportunities and exercises at that time. The job fair was held for three days. In the Luohu Gymnasium, there is a sea of people. I tried my best to squeeze among them, trying to give each other a good impression when I submitted my resume. According to my career plan, I have done express delivery for several large enterprises, including Bank of China, China Airlines, Shenzhen Telecom, Shenzhen Special Zone Daily and so on. Next, I will choose several representative interviews:
I. Bank of China-Interview Position: Account Manager:
The position of account manager has nothing to do with my major, but the development prospect of China Bank is very broad and the platform it provides is international, so I chose it. At that time, there were several long queues for people who only submitted resumes. I got an OFFER—— within a few minutes of submitting my resume-a notice with a second interview time and place. Seeing the envy in the eyes of those people in suits and ties in Sun Yat-sen University and Xiamen University, I don't want to mention how beautiful it is. [②]
The next day, according to the route I checked online, I chose my own formal dress, put on high heels and set off early. It was supposed to be an interview at 9: 00, but I arrived at 8: 30, and I couldn't help it. At nine o'clock, the classroom was already dark (because most of them were formal dresses, that is, men wore suits and women wore western skirts, and I was the only one with bright colors and jeans). [3] The projector is playing some profiles of China Bank, and a seemingly leading person begins to guide us to sign in and draw lots to decide the interview group. I just found out that the name of my major in journalism and communication at Jiangxi Normal University seems to be particularly "conspicuous". After the lottery, I sat in my seat waiting for the interview. I didn't know what the form was or what questions I would ask, but I gradually fell asleep. No, I should say I'm resting. I woke up and found that many people around me left after the interview. Suddenly someone called my name and I was called to the door to get ready. Unconsciously, I looked around and there were three conference rooms opposite, all of which were written with the words interview. I was a little nervous at first, but I was called to one of the doors before I thought about it.
I was dumbfounded as soon as I opened the door. What a big conference table, there are about six or seven people sitting around. I bowed slightly to say hello. A lady sitting in the middle, dressed in serious but gorgeous clothes, motioned me to sit down. My heart beat faster and I sat down in fear and trembling. I participated in various competitions at school, but I am still very nervous at this time. It seems that the group interview is a very common interview form here in Shenzhen, so we should be prepared psychologically. Six or seven people all looked at me, which made me more and more nervous, but at this time I was awake and took a deep breath subconsciously. The lady spoke again and asked me, how did you come? I sounded a little silly. I thought it would be a difficult question to answer, but fortunately I reacted quickly. I slowed down and said quietly, take the bus and arrive at half past eight. The lady asked again: Is it easy to find here? I said: I checked all the routes online last night, and I went out long in advance for fear of traffic jams. Actually, it's still very easy to find. (Actually, I use answering skills here. I emphasized that I checked the bus route the night before and went out early in the morning, which reflected the planning and punctuality principle of a person. ) I saw that she nodded with satisfaction and told me to pay attention to my interview topic. [4] Probably asked me three questions, and I became more and more relaxed, and the answers were clear. At this time, I am really glad that I have exercised my eloquence at school. After the interview, I stood up, stepped back, bowed again and said thank you. It was already noon, I said thank you, and then I calmly left.
Experience analysis: to sum up the interview here, first of all, don't ignore the short question and answer when submitting your resume, which is the first step for you to win the favor of others; Second, be confident. Before the interview, imagine what questions you will ask, including your speed and way of speaking, which can convey a person's quality. Finally, the mentality, no matter what problems you encounter, you should answer them frankly. Nervousness will only confuse your mind. You can train your thinking and eloquence more from now on.
Second, China Airlines-Interview position: corporate culture specialist
Even if the Bank of China comes to an end, I will continue to submit my resume while waiting for the notice. Next is an interview with China Airlines corporate culture specialist. With the "scary" interview experience of Bank of China, I seem to have great courage. The interview here is also representative, that is, group interview. Almost all of them are students from famous universities, including ten. I remember a doctoral student from Zhejiang University. (Actually, there is nothing to be afraid of. They are all doctoral students, and they all went to the interview with us. Three of them entered the final round of China Airlines, which means that I eliminated their doctors. Hehe, everyone is more confident. )
A group of people sat around the conference table and introduced themselves first. I remember that a woman with a double degree in journalism from Wuhan University was very good, saying that the university had published a novel, and she took it out and circulated it to us. After that, ten people divided into two groups to talk about a topic. [5] The topic is about government policies. I don't know much about it and I'm not good at those official discussions. It's a bit silly to see the topic. After grouping, let's talk about our own views. There is a doctoral student and a double-degree woman who just sent us a novel. Of course, when everyone was asked to choose a spokesperson, many people voted for women. She is really eloquent. The spokesmen of each group should sum up everyone's views in the discussion just now, then make concluding remarks, and finally the interviewer asks if anyone has anything to add. I finally seized the opportunity to add something. Maybe it was my finishing touch that won me the opportunity.
After that, we took a written test and gave each of us an internal magazine of China Airlines, so that we could write down our thoughts after reading it. Oh, I don't have a clue, but I still crustily skin of head and handed in thousands of words. A few days later, I received three notices. That was an interview with my immediate supervisor, who should be the boss of a certain department of China Airlines. The interview was short, so I asked a question. [6] Fortunately, before I came, I wrote a lot of things in the internal magazine of TravelSky brought back from the last group interview, so the answer at this time was also good.
Empirical analysis: Actually, I am not very satisfied with the interview here. Because this group interview is a test of a person's team ability, and I am not familiar with the topic. So I suggest you pay more attention to current events and read more comments, so that you won't have nothing to say if you say it. In addition, even if you have nothing to say in the group interview, you should pay attention to what others say, so that you can take the lead at the right time. Just like I can make a supplement, in fact, when I have nothing to say, I have been taking notes on paper to record other people's words.
3. Shenzhen Telecom Subsidiary: Hongbo Information Technology Co., Ltd.-Position: Business Assistant
This was also voted at the job fair. I was dressed casually when I went to the interview that day. I may have experienced many interviews and relaxed my mind. This is also a group interview, similar to China Airlines, but this time I learned from the last experience. Big companies like group interviews, probably to save everyone time! Because I have experienced such an interview in China Airlines before, I have some skills this time.
First, a round of self-introduction, I played badly, because there were so many contents on my resume that I couldn't remember them, so I simply listed them, and I felt uncomfortable when I talked about them, like an old woman selling melons, boasting.
Next, I divided into two groups. I interviewed a batch in the morning, and this batch of * * * was nearly 20 people in the afternoon. The tables around the conference room are full on both sides. Our topic is "habit". Discussion time 15 minutes. Finally, I want to recommend someone to sum up. As soon as I received the question, these people were confused, and I couldn't find the direction sentence by sentence. So I said to discuss it from one angle first, because after all, the word habit is very general, so it should be easier for us to narrow down the scope and summarize it later. At this time, I almost took the initiative and everyone agreed. I saw a boy with a watch next to me and told him that he would control the time. Our discussion time is 10 minutes, and there should be 5 minutes for discussion before summing up. In this way, we decided that the theme is about the role of habits in a person's life development.
In this process, a boy seems to be cynical and keeps saying that we can't continue this discussion. What should we do? He always wants to lead us to another way. He wants to talk about national customs. I have been in control of the overall situation, because time is limited after all. At the same time, I'm taking notes and remembering everyone's words clearly.
Finally, as expected, I was recommended to make a summary. I also asked the chairman if it was possible for two people to sum up, one for the process and the other for the conclusion. He said no, then I saw that the other party had finished the discussion, and one of the girls with a sharp voice made a summary. Just before we make a summary, I tell you, let's cheer together! So people in our circle put their hands together and shouted: Come on! ! I believe we are superior to them in momentum and team strength.
I summed it up smoothly and respected my teammates. After summing up, I asked my teammates what to add, which also gave others a chance.
Finally, let each team member write down on paper who you think is the best and who impressed you the most in the final round. People around me are asking my name, and I am very happy.
Experience analysis: In the first few days of job hunting, there will be many interviews. Many students will be choosy and will not go if they think the company is small or the position is not good enough. In fact, you can get exercise every interview. Before joining these big companies, I have been to many small companies for interviews, and every time I come back, I will record my experience and sum up my experience. For example, summing up the previous experience this time is to master the team atmosphere and situation control. Therefore, encourage everyone to give themselves more opportunities for interviews. After summing up your experience, you will find that the interviewer is more and more satisfied with you, which is progress.
In addition, I suggest that you prepare a distinctive and focused self-introduction in the future, which will be used in any interview. And you can adjust your outstanding advantages according to the needs of the position you are interviewing for.
Stick to your faith and you will be blessed if you wait.
What I just listed are the interview experiences of some representative large enterprises. After these interviews, I faced many setbacks and choices. More than half a month after China Bank passed the second test, a list of people who entered the written test was posted on its homepage. I'm glad I'm among them, but I'm also under great pressure, because the written test includes three aspects: administrative ability test, English and financial knowledge. After that, I received a short message from China Bank informing me that I would go to Shenzhen University for an exam on March 3rd. I began to stop running the talent market every day and review my exams at home. A few days later, China Airlines informed me that the final result would not come out until January, so let me wait patiently. It's already 65438+February, and I'm helpless about this efficiency, but I can't do anything except wait for me. I have an idea that I can wait for the exam of China Bank at the same time.
As a result, things are often not as simple as imagined. You can't have your cake and eat it. I believe that when you leave school in the future, you will also face various choices. Shenzhen Telecom sent a circular letter with the tripartite agreement issued by the school to Guangdong Telecom Group 1.2 before signing the agreement, and reported for work after graduation in July next year. The position is business assistant, mainly responsible for the company's business dealings with telecommunications in Guangdong Province. Belonging to the market direction, the salary is 2500, with commission. The contract is for one year. I discussed it with my family, and they all agreed that I should sign this, so I don't have to work hard anymore. After signing, you can report back to your hometown in Northeast China next year. In fact, if I were a lazy person without goals, I would choose like that. But after thinking about it for a few days, I turned down the position by phone. This process is very painful, because the exam of China Bank is still being prepared here, and the results of China Airlines have not come out yet, and my heart is still hanging. But I analyzed three points: first, I don't think this company works in the telecom headquarters; Second, it seems that it has little to do with my major, so I can't apply what I have learned; Third, I don't want to be an assistant or a secretary. It is important to stick to your dreams and career plans.
Experience analysis: When I first came to Shenzhen, I interviewed many companies. Originally, I invested in a propaganda position, but after the interview, I heard that I was a fresh graduate. Combined with my appearance, I suggested that I be the general manager or the secretary of the chairman, with a higher salary. I remember that the chairman of a relatively large electronics company in Huaqiang North asked me to be his secretary with a monthly salary of more than 5,000 yuan and a settlement account. To tell the truth, I hesitated to go or not, but considering my future, I gave up. This will happen to you when you first enter the society. Please stick to your original dream and choose the road that suits you.
Next, I began to study hard for the Bank of China, but the financial knowledge was really hard to understand, so I couldn't help it. I don't remember how I got out on the day of the exam. I was nervous about the exam for more than three hours. I still have some confidence in English and administrative ability exams, but I really have too much financial knowledge. I knew this estimate wouldn't come out after the exam.
After returning to China, I began to submit my resume online, and I was also asking about China Airlines. About the end of January, the results of China Bank were announced, and I lost the election. Then I got a call from China Airlines, saying that corporate culture specialist was hiring at Peking University, and asked me if I would consider changing careers as an administrative secretary. I was so angry that I refused on the phone. I remember crying that night. I have been in Shenzhen for nearly three months, and my efforts have gone up in smoke overnight. The psychological suffering can be imagined.
I am anxious because of the long wait and the pressure of life. So I went to Shenzhen Special Zone Daily, which was also my resume submitted at the job fair before, but the condition was that I would do an unpaid internship before I got my diploma. I worked there for a while, and finally I couldn't stand the pressure of life and left. Then a small advertising company repeatedly asked me to do media planning, and I went, and the nightmare began. It is an advertising company in a residential area, and there are many such advertising companies in Shenzhen. I suggest you remember not to go to such a company in the future, because they can't even afford the rent of office buildings every month, let alone the wages of employees. I remember the first day at work, I just worked overtime until eleven o'clock, and then for several days in a row. My supervisor is a good writer, but he can't speak, so he teaches me how to make a plan, and I talk to my clients with it. I was so tired those days that I felt dizzy in front of the screen. I don't want to take a taxi after work in the middle of the night, but I was harassed by others at the bus stop ... but I gritted my teeth and thought, after coming out for so long, I can't ask for money from my family, at least I can earn some money to support myself. But then the company changed its name inexplicably, and now it is known that it is because the previously registered company defaulted on a lot of taxes. After working for a month, I ran away, and I owed my salary for more than a month. ...
Empirical analysis: the most important thing in finding a job is mentality. Everything is difficult at the beginning, but we must grasp our own direction. If I didn't insist, I might be an assistant in Shenzhen Telecom Company, or a boss's female secretary. My salary may be higher than now, but my future is worrying. When faced with choices or setbacks, I also lost my foothold and took a detour like this small advertising company. I want to tell you here, I hope you can learn from it. I hope you won't take such a detour again, so you can save some time and eat less.
After this detour, I rethought my future. I understand that I can't be anxious. I must firmly believe in finding a job that suits me. I don't have any income, and I can't ask for it from my family. Because the conditions at home are not very good, I borrowed some money from my friends and saved it myself. I took out my previous resume and revised it, changing the original complicated resume into a simple and clear form, because I understand that people who look at your resume are more concerned about your practical experience when they see that you are a fresh graduate. So I will highlight those and others as supplementary introductions.
Sure enough, I soon received an interview notice from China City Magazine and a real estate company. After so much experience, the interview was easy for me, and I passed both positions. The salary of the magazine is relatively generous, because I am a reporter and often go to Hong Kong on business, but what I write is more official. Zhongyuan real estate is the planning Commissioner. Because it is a big company, all aspects of welfare benefits are relatively sound. Facing the choice again, I didn't lose my temper like I did at the beginning, but thought calmly. I found some friends I met in Shenzhen to analyze for me. Everyone agrees that being a reporter is an exercise, but it depends on what kind of company and platform it is. Planning my current company is a long-term career plan, and the work experience of a big company will add a lot to my future career. Finally, I made a decision and came to a real estate. My idea is simple, this job is in line with my major, and the training and resource platforms of big companies are limitless. Now, it also confirms this point. Little-known magazines are still silent, and Zhongyuan Real Estate has a good reputation in Shenzhen and even the whole country. The working atmosphere and staff training here are unmatched by small companies. I don't think I've been shopping in Shenzhen for nearly five months for nothing. Looking back now, fortunately, I persisted in my original dream and enjoyed the blessing after such a long wait.
Experience analysis: On the issue of submitting resumes online, cjol and Worry-Free Future are more efficient in Shenzhen. Don't be afraid of those who require 1 to three or even three to five years of experience when you vote. Just vote. I applied for this position in cjol, China. The requirement is more than two years' working experience. Now, I, a person with no work experience, also work here, hehe.
Calm down, and you can't take Wan Li Road without accumulating pace.
The above is my first experience in Shenzhen. In fact, it is not difficult to find a job. The key is to find the one that suits you. For example, some people blindly do this industry, jump to another industry, blindly do business and do copywriting. Actually, this is very bad. Just out of school, you must first make clear your goals, and then walk with firm steps and don't change your mind. Many students are constantly changing jobs after they come out, and each one only works for one or two months. In fact, I also had the idea of changing jobs in the Central Plains, because you have just entered the society from school, and you have a lot to learn, and you have to face great pressure and difficulties. Once you can't cope, you have the idea of running away. But I persisted, slowly straightened out my work and constantly summed up my work experience and methods. Freshmen are more enthusiastic than those with work experience. I came to the Central Plains for half a year, organized more than ten large-scale activities and wrote dozens of articles. My work has been affirmed and appreciated by the leaders, and the company has also solved the Shenzhen hukou for me, which has also received considerable attention in the department. So please believe that if you stick to your beliefs, your efforts will be rewarded.
Again, everything is difficult at the beginning. Everyone who has just left school to work outside the school believes that they have their own stories and experiences of struggle and exercise. Just like when I first started working, I always had to run errands, print documents, run around Shenzhen looking for venues, stay up late and work overtime to write planning cases ... but I wanted to stay calm. The smaller things, the more you can hone your mood. Looking back after passing by, I will feel that I have learned so much and grown so much. I hope you can do the same, take every step in a down-to-earth manner, and believe this sentence-it is difficult to travel thousands of miles without accumulated steps!
Conclusion: Come on, class!
I said a lot, in fact, I want to share some experiences with you. I hope you can experience it with your heart and accumulate more in the future practice. I am writing to you at work now. I often have work to do, and I have been writing intermittently for several days. I wonder if it will help you. If you have any questions you don't understand or want to know, you can contact me, and I will try my best to help you, provided that I am not busy with my work, hehe. I also live with two senior sisters who just came to Shenzhen to look for a job in 2004. Finally, I wish all the students can find a satisfactory job! thank you

[1] About resume making: Nowadays, enterprise recruitment pays more attention to practicality, especially for inexperienced fresh graduates. I suggest that you highlight your social practice experience in your resume and start preparing some works, such as design works, articles and manuscripts, planning cases, etc. You can take these to the examiner when you go to the interview, or you can send them to the corporate email, which will add a lot of weight to you.
[2] The first interview question: What is your major? (Journalism and Communication) What are your hobbies? I like hosting, singing, performing, dancing, etc. ) Then why do you want to apply for the position of account manager of China Bank? I think the position of account manager is to deal with customers first, and to understand the needs of customers can serve customers more comprehensively. I am cheerful and easy to communicate with people. Besides, I majored in journalism and communication, and I studied marketing and communication psychology, so I can analyze customers' psychology more professionally and serve customers better. )
[3] Interview dress: What kind of dress do you suggest to wear when you go to the interview depends on the company and position you are interviewing. For example, if you go to a bank or service industry, I suggest you wear a formal shirt, which will leave a good impression on the interviewer. Interviewing other people in the company a few days ago, our real estate service industry pays more attention to wearing. Those who came in jeans and T-shirts basically didn't enter the second interview.
[4] stress interview Title: 1. What do you think is your proudest thing in college? 2. Tell a story in succession with the following words: west, window, old man, river. 3. What did you gain in college? What did college study bring me? 4. Why do you want to apply for an account manager?
[4] Discussion topic: Shenzhen Municipal Government has introduced policies to increase the introduction of talents. If you are a government official, what do you think should be done?
[6] China Airlines Question 3: What do you think of the position of corporate culture specialist? How much do you know about China Airlines?
[7] A real estate interview topic: 1. Your experience on your resume is still very rich. Tell me about your work experience in your last company. 2. What is your career plan? Tell me about your study and work experience in the university.
