When were Chinese characters invented? Why did Cang Xie cry when he coined words?
There were words before the article, so when were Chinese characters invented? It is said that the inventor of this word is Cang Xie. Some strange things happened when Cangjie made words. It is said that a ghost cried all night. Why?
During Liu Zhao's reign in the Eastern Han Dynasty, there was a scholar named Xu Shen who wrote a book, Shuowen Jiezi. In the preface, he mentioned for the first time a Huangdi historian named Cang Xie, which may be the earliest record of Cangjie's word-making. The legendary Cang Xie looks very distinctive. He has two big eyes like bells. He looked up at the starry sky and looked down at Feng Shui Long Mai. He is good at special effects. One day, when Cang Xie was observing birds, animals, insects, fish and butterflies, he suddenly got inspiration and began to create words.
However, just as Cang Xie was addicted to word-making, it suddenly began to rain, and a kind of food called corn fell. Every night, I heard the brotherhood of the Wolf, which frightened the people and didn't know what to do. Cang Xie's book describes: "When it rains, ghosts cry at night". What does the sentence "XiaXiaomi" mean?
After careful study, it is found that although the initial writing is a great progress of mankind, it can inherit culture, give people knowledge and improve their personal thoughts, but it has advantages and disadvantages. Its appearance may teach simple people and lead to harm others and themselves. There is a day in Laozi's classic: "Wisdom comes out, and there is a big fallacy". This statement is correct. Generally, treacherous people will start to be dishonest when they have knowledge, always thinking about stealing chickens and dogs, and gradually become delicious and unwilling to farm, so food will naturally be scarce after autumn. At this time, God will take care of his life and it will rain.
What does Cang Xie mean by "brotherhood of the wolf"?
The word "ghost" here may not only refer to ghosts and gods in feudal superstition, but also refer to people with many ghost concepts. If people are really bad, it is more terrible than ghosts. In addition, Cang Xie may think that ghosts know that the "secret" of writing is extremely boundless, such as writing runes, so after writing in the world, people's wisdom will be greatly improved and become more severe, and they will also use words to deal with ghosts. Therefore, ghosts will consciously usher in the era of being suppressed by mortals, and their sad mood will get worse, so they will run out at night and cry and tell their grievances everywhere.
So some people think that ghosts are alarmist? Later, however, maoshan taoist fully proved that the ghost's fear was correct. Did you find that Uncle Jiu stuck Huang Fu on zombies' foreheads so that they couldn't move, and there were a bunch of ghosts who read the Diamond Sutra of Great Mercy? There is also the Tathagata Buddha in Journey to the West who used six words: "Aye, Bamiyan" to suppress the monkey Sun who was searching at the foot of Wuxing Mountain. Monkey Sun can't read, so he has to cry for the appearance of Tang Priest every day.
Jing Xun, the son of Huai Nan, records: "Born with emptiness, decorated with wisdom to frighten fools, and designed with ingenuity. Someone can stick to it and cure it. The ancestors wrote a book in white, and ghosts cried at night. " This book once again confirms the strange phenomenon of Cangjie's word-making and the concern of the world.
What I said above is only the folklore of ancient feudal thought, which is not convincing. There are no ghosts and gods in real society. In the era before the invention of writing, human beings were all passed on from mouth to mouth, and each group's version was different, which would inevitably add to the embellishment. At the beginning, Cang Xie was a historian of the Yellow Emperor and made great contributions to the creation of Chinese characters, so he was a hero at that time. Therefore, people passed on his story from mouth to mouth and described it as shocking.
It is said that in the process of word-making in Cang Xie, it is not a matter of one day or two, and it may contain some unrecorded historical events to show that Cang Xie's achievements are even more shocking to the world. In the final analysis, all this is just an exaggerated description used by the ancients to highlight the achievements of word-making.
