Where does Wuhan Hoonji belong?
Hoonji is located at the south foot of Qinglong Mountain and the north bank of Daoguanhe Reservoir in Daoguanhe Scenic Area, Xinzhou District, Wuhan, covering an area of 1.34 mu, with a construction area of about 20,000 square meters. The whole temple consists of the mountain gate, Tianwang Hall, Daxiong Hall, Bell Tower, Drum Tower, Guanyin Hall, Jade Buddha Hall, Fatang Hall and Zhaitang Hall. The whole temple is surrounded by mountains and rivers. Zhuang Jing is solemn and magnificent.
The sleeping Buddha of Sakyamuni in the Jade Buddha Hall is carved from a whole piece of white marble. The statue is lifelike and peacefully lying on the high couch. The statue is 5.7 meters long, 1.5 meters high and weighs 9.7 tons. This is the first white marble reclining Buddha in Chutian. In the Hall of the Great Hero, all the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas stand tall, sit or stand, meditate or chant, with different shapes and lifelike appearance, which is called the First Hall of Chutian. This Zen Temple was built in Xiaojian, ZSZSZSZ, Liang Wudi in the Southern Dynasties (AD 502-5 19). In the Southern Song Dynasty, it was renamed Song Huizong Evonne Xuanhe (A.D.119-1125) Shen Xiao Palace, and later renamed Shen Xiao Palace.
Qin Zi, the younger brother of Qin Gui, the notorious prime minister of the Southern Song Dynasty, lives in seclusion next to Hongzhi in Liyang, so Hongzhi is also known as Qin Gong Temple. Qin Zi's eldest son, Qin Huoyu, who was born in Jinshi, once wrote "Hoonji Inscription", but unfortunately the inscription has not been handed down.
It has a history of 65,438+0,500 years since the capital was established in the Southern Liang Dynasty, and it has been more than 900 years since it moved to Huangjia Village outside Licheng. Although it has been destroyed, built and defeated, it is still an ancient temple with a long history.
1994 Rebuild the old and new temples, and the new temple covers an area of 33,350 square meters. The new temple has cultural relics, stone turtles, as a monument. Because there is no stone tablet on it, I don't know when I left the cultural relics, but now I moved to Hoonji in Tianmu Lake District. This is the story of rebuilding Hoonji.
