Brief introduction of feng shui story in Luoyang museum
What can you think of when you look at Mangshan Mountain at night? Think about the afterglow of the sunset, the running of the river, the gathering of crows in Luoyang, and the magnificent palaces singing and dancing. What I think is the memory of the past, the attachment to the secular, and the vision for the future!
What can you experience when you look at Mangshan Mountain at night? Liu Bang's sad song "The wind blows" in his later years is still the fatuous ignorance of the last drop of blood of the big fellow "Never tire of it, never think about it"! Ah, a reincarnation of the Han Dynasty, why not the reincarnation of past dynasties, why not the reincarnation of history!
Night view of Mangshan Mountain
1. Mangshan overlooking in the evening, the palaces of the 13th Dynasty are all tombs.
There are many works of ancient literati, all of which have been there. North of Los Angeles, on the Mangshan Mountain, ancient trees are towering and green as clouds, which naturally attracts poets to write landscapes and lament the past and the present. However, it is too old and invalid. Now a pile of loess, no trace of farmland. Only by looking up at the sky and remembering the sages can we get a glimpse of the beautiful scenery of that year from one or two vicissitudes of life sites and books.
As one of the world-famous eight scenic spots in Luoyang, "Looking at the night at Beimang Mountain" has its own wonders, but it does not necessarily lie in the melody and Sanqu collection of Beimang Mountain itself. Even though its scenery is beautiful and it ranks first in the world, it is a vast land with rich resources. In any case, it will not regard a cemetery as an important scenic spot throughout the ages, and it is likely to be "not elegant until it reaches the north." I want to keep this scene in my mind, not in something. This scene is thinking, not swimming.
lingering light of the setting sun
Being in the tomb of the forest of steles, seeing the buried weeds, the rich cemetery scattered everywhere has its own feelings of thinking about the past and thinking about the future; The old friend has passed away, touching people's hearts and lamenting that things are impermanent and the world is the most bitter. There will be some extraordinary insights. Stepping in the fog, mourning for the ages, suddenly gaffes, maybe which foot doesn't listen, then stepping on the head of the emperor and the general, can't help feeling deeply.
2. Feng Shui wins, heaven and earth turn, not just emperors will be buried.
Looking at Mangshan Mountain today, its mountain is flat, not tall and majestic. There are no exotic birds and beasts in the mountains, and there are fewer beautiful waterfalls. At first glance, it doesn't deserve the title of "Eight Scenes of Luoyang". Is it the ancients who have much to do? Later generations don't know, just take a quick look at the flowers and talk about it, praising it as a wonderful geomantic omen and a sacred place for immortals.
In the long run, the emperor's new clothes will be released. However, the ancient people's worship of the land of geomantic omen also made sense. However, outside of Feng Shui, the world can't understand some life here, improve some realms, find out some contexts and understand some truths.
Feng shui wins.
And the theory of geomantic omen has always been confusing. The land of Beimang, in the eyes of the ancients, was: "The torrent of Kunlun, the two rivers in Ilo, became a high barrier and helped the two mountains worship." It is in line with the truth of Guo Pu, the originator of Feng Shui in Wei and Jin Dynasties, that "the method of Feng Shui is to get water first and then hide the wind".
In fact, this mountainous terrain is unique in China's vast land. Guo Pu is also a good man with a glib tongue in history. Is this another unintentional exaggeration to play tricks on everyone?
The charm of Mangshan Mountain has not been concealed by a little doubt. "Born in Suzhou and Hangzhou and buried in Beimang" is still the dream of everyone in the world. Perhaps no one can figure out exactly how much power Mangshan buried in the past thirteen dynasties. The mottling of Mangshan Mountain has not become dim because of the erosion of time, but has become more legendary and thicker.
Mangshan Mausoleum Group in Farmland
No one can count it at all, but in this land, the horizontal knife has been lost countless times and immediately invincible, and poetry is the soul of the feather fan! In the twenty-five histories recorded in magnificent ancient books, and in the vast legends of unofficial history, Mangshan Mountain is half romantic, mostly because these characters have turned into Mangshan dust.
3. Who will be buried in Beimang Mountain if you don't follow Dongluo Water?
Luoyang has magnificent cities and palaces, ranking first in the world. Luoyang, with its prosperous economy and developed culture, naturally has countless dignitaries, wealthy businessmen and literati. Thousands of people live a rich life, and at its peak, more than one million people lived in cities. Under the living conditions at that time, Luoyang was addicted to money and went on strike all night, which was undoubtedly synonymous with prosperity.
The ancients believed that after death, the soul would not die, but enjoyed the bliss of the world before death. After death, they naturally want to stay in this blessed land of Luoyang, overlooking the whole city and enjoying the world. The great general and gifted scholar buried in Mangshan Tomb witnessed the glory of Luoyang City. However, what they didn't expect was that his splendor, the noise of burial, the tombs in the mountains and the inscriptions on the tombs were only scenery in the eyes of future generations, and all the weeds under his feet were gone.

Alas! Ridiculous! No wonder Bai Juyi, a great writer, said, "If you don't follow the water in the east, who will be buried in Mangshan?" . No one can see through the eternal law of dust to dust and soil to soil. Dying is as natural as living. In fact, burying loess on mountains and rivers is to hope that future generations will prosper.
Unexpectedly, history has changed and dynasties have changed. They were highly respected when they were buried in splendor, but they were looted and destroyed in hundreds of years. Later generations have sad people buried in the original tomb, wave upon wave, gushing. The pit is still the pit, and the tree is still the tree. It's just that things have changed I think even if there are traces of the soul, there is only a sigh to the sky, and there is nowhere to go.
However, Mangshan can win the same honor of life and death as Suzhou and Hangzhou, not only because the soil of Mangshan contains the bones of powerful sages of past dynasties, but also because at the foot of Mangshan, there is Luoyang City, which was once rich and prosperous in the 13th Dynasty, and more because of countless bones and the heavy vicissitudes built by the ups and downs of the 13th Dynasty.
It is a historical legend that Luoyang is difficult and lucky.
Luo Yang, a classic city, its tall and cold walls, dark gray brick walls, dark brown blood, and many treasures from Dingding, the treasure of China, were mostly destroyed in the war.
Fortunately, in Luoyang, the horses hissed, bleeding like a river, horrible, devastated and dead without a trace. It has not been abandoned by heroes all over the world, so "its prosperity is also rich, and its death is also sudden". The historical wheel of human civilization rolls like this, rolling over emperors and princes, slaves of ordinary people, heroes and bears.
Mangshan Luoyang Tomb Museum
Those beautiful years and tasks that have been turned over are now lying in the loess of Mangshan, covered by sandstorms, forgotten by history and trampled by tourists' futile steps.
Who cares which dynasty you are the emperor and which dynasty you will be in?
In the face of Mangshan Mountain, too many narratives always make people feel a little uneasy, so they can only stand on the top of the mountain and breathe secretly. In the distance, there is a flaming sunset glow, and in the vicinity, there are piles of tombs, and Luoyang is bustling at your feet.
