How to practice Qigong?
Congratulations!
Your energy is very good. If you are interested, take a look below!
Those who cultivate the truth use falsehood to cultivate the truth. Through the combination of these four false bodies, I can cultivate my indestructible true body. In this ancient world, there is no immortal body, only the eternal Dharma body. The so-called: The original true nature is called the golden elixir, and the four major elements are a furnace for refining.
The physical body is a combination of the four major falsehoods. Although it is a gift from parents, the father, sperm, and mother's blood are originally mortal things. How can they not be destroyed after decades? What are the Big Four? Earth, water, wind, and fire are the same. Earth constitutes the bones, muscles and internal organs, water constitutes the blood in the body, wind constitutes the respiratory system, and fire constitutes the constant body temperature in the body.
Introduction to Alchemy
The external elixir technique of achieving immortality by burning [golden elixir] and taking it has gradually declined. The current world of cultivation is mainly based on the inner alchemy of [Jindan Dao], that is, alchemy, which emphasizes the cultivation of [spirit] and [qi].
Laozi’s Tao Te Ching once said [Tao generates one, which creates two, two generates three, and three generates all things]. The way of alchemy means that three returns to two, two returns to one, and one merges into the Tao. The term is [refining qi and transforming into spirit] [refining spirit and returning emptiness] (later the term [refining emptiness and joining the path] [void crushing] was added), which is the process of returning essence, energy and spirit. And because people are deficient in essence and energy, [[Lianjinghuaqi]] is created to replenish essence and energy, so that people can make up for the deficiency from acquired to innate, so that they can start practicing.
3. Cultivation methods
According to different sects, the opinions held are different, everyone's situation is different, and the exercises are also ever-changing.
The secular cultivation sects are divided into [Eastern sect] [Western sect] [Southern sect] [Northern sect] [Central sect]. The hidden sect is [Ancient Immortal Sect]. (The ancient immortals also have differences, so it is not convenient to elaborate here)
In short, there is no one to guide you in the method of cultivation, and you should not practice it privately, otherwise there will be endless troubles. Nowadays, those who admire immortals must also avoid being deceived.
How to get started
The way of quiet gong
1. The external movements of quiet gong
Taoist practice, in the final analysis, is We must cultivate the three inner treasures of essence, qi, and spirit. Therefore, external postures and movements are not important. The biggest principle is just to keep the head and spine straight, comfortable and natural.
Sitting, standing, lying down, or taking a walk are all acceptable. The key points of various postures are as follows:
For sitting posture, you can sit flat on a stool with your calves perpendicular to the ground, or you can cross them; you can also sit cross-legged on the bed. For those who have difficulty sitting cross-legged, you can first use a cushion under the seat. Put a pillow on top of each other; fold your hands together and hold your thumbs together in the shape of a Tai Chi diagram. Place them on your Dantian, or you can touch your knees with your hands.
Stand naturally, with your knees slightly bent, and your hands stacked on your Dantian, or hanging by your side.
Lying position, usually lying on the side, with one hand bent on the pillow, the thumb and index finger separated, and the ear placed at the tiger's mouth to open the ear orifice; the other hand is placed on the hip or on the Dantian; The legs are also stretched and bent, which is exactly the opposite of the hands.
When taking a walk, you should choose a quiet place with few people, a park or a larger courtyard, without other interference, and the road is relatively flat. Walking slowly, like floating clouds. When walking, you can use the listening method of meditation, but don't close your eyes.
After choosing a posture and doing it well, start practicing. For external movements, the key points of practice are as follows:
(1) Relax the whole body. No matter what posture you take, you must relax the whole body. This relaxation does not mean becoming a soft ball. You need to keep your head and spine upright to facilitate the smooth flow of meridians; but do not become stiff or rigid, which is not conducive to relaxation and will also hinder the smooth flow of meridians. To relax, you first need to lower your shoulders. Most people are usually tense physically and mentally without realizing it, and their movements do not meet the requirements for relaxation. Now when we practice Kung Fu, we first adjust our movements, and then we can naturally enter a relaxed state.
(2) The eyes are drooped, which means slightly closed. Why do you need to close your eyes slightly? This is because opening your eyes can easily breed distracting thoughts, and closing your eyes can easily make you fall asleep, which is not conducive to practicing the exercises. The mantra for slightly closing the body is "open three points and close seven points", that is, open three points and close seven points. The specific method was passed down orally in the past, but now it is clearly stated that the eyelids droop, which means that you can see the things in front of you but not be able to distinguish them clearly.
(3) The tongue is on top of the palate, forming the mouth. It is also called "Saidui" in the Dan Jing, which means that the mouth is closed and the teeth are closed. The practice of pressing the tongue against the roof of the mouth was also secretly taught in the past. The tip of the tongue should be rolled back and the bottom surface of the tongue tip should be pushed against the roof of the palate. Because there are two small pits on the upper palate, called "Tianchi Point", which are connected to the mud pill, it is most likely to cause leakage. Therefore, you must practice the exercises like a baby breastfeeding.
(4) Breathe naturally, that is, breathe naturally, but avoid being thick and short. As the level of static practice increases, the breath should gradually become deep, long, even, thin and subtle.
(5) Holding the secret with both hands and pinching with both hands, Taoists call it "Tai Chi Bagua Yin and Yang Chain Secret", also known as "Tai Chi Secret". This secret was passed down from master to disciple in the past, so Rarely known to the world. At this time, the man holds his right hand with his left hand, and the woman holds her left hand with her right hand. Because the left hand of a man is yang and the right hand of a woman is yang, the yang hand is on the outside and the yin hand is on the inside. The thumbs of the Yang hand on the outside are crossed, forming a "Tai Chi diagram" shape. By hugging each other like this, the two qi of yin and yang in the human body will be naturally connected. After a while, both hands will feel warm and swollen, which is amazing. This is the effect of connecting the two qi.
2. The inner secret of Jing Gong
(1) Listen to the breath.
The purpose of Jing Gong is to enter tranquility. The meaning of tranquility is to calm down the body and mind. In order to achieve the requirements of tranquility, you must first get rid of all distracting thoughts. This is the most critical principle of the foundation-building method of tranquility.
However, due to people’s thinking habits, the brain is always thinking about problems and will dream even when sleeping. Once it stops, it is difficult to do so. In order to achieve the purpose of tranquility, ancient Taoist monks created many methods, such as listening to Qi, sitting and forgetting, observing one, counting breaths, etc. In comparison, the "listening to Qi" method mentioned in the "Xin Zhai" of Taoist Zhuangzi is the best.
The so-called "listening to the breath" means listening to your own breathing. As we said before, Jing Gong requires natural breathing. The method of listening to the breath is to listen within the ears, that is, to eliminate all interference from the outside world, and to listen to your own breathing as if entering a state of complete silence. At the beginning, just listen with your ears without adding any thoughts.
Note: The so-called "listening to the breath" requires the ears to listen back inward, as if listening to the sound of breathing in and out. But breathing in and out originally required silence. The meaning of "listening to the breath" is to ask for concentration and concentration; it does not mean to guard the ears tightly, nor to listen to the sound of breathing. The meaning of "listening" is to concentrate. As long as you follow the line of exhalation and inhalation and do it slowly, half-listening but not listening, you are right. As for the speed, thickness, depth, and length of your breathing, you should let it change naturally and don't force it with your thoughts.
After hearing it, my heart and mind were connected, distracting thoughts disappeared, and even my breathing seemed to no longer exist, and I gradually reached the state of "quietness".
(2) Sightseeing
The method of "sightseeing" is a Taoist secret cultivation method. It was not taught secretly in the past and was passed down from master to disciple. The purpose of sightseeing is to refine your nature. Our nature is originally a light of nothingness, coming from the universe before our next life. Therefore, the fundamental method of practicing Xing at this time is called Xing Gong. Some people think that the "Xing" Kung Fu taught by Taoism is just the truth, and that there is no Kung Fu because the Xing Kung Fu has not been taught by an enlightened master.
The root of sex lies in the hole between the eyebrows. This orifice comes from before we were born, so it is called the "ancestral orifice".
First, sit quietly for a while and use the "listening and breathing" method mentioned above. After the body and mind have entered tranquility, the two eyes, which seem to be observing but not observing, stop in front of the "ancestral orifice". This "ancestral orifice front" is neither inside nor outside the body, but is about an inch and a half in front of the eyes.
Note: The method of "viewing the ancestral orifice" mentioned is to gather one's own original nature. When the original nature is gathered together, it will naturally see the light. But this realm is natural and should never be pursued. If you pursue it, you will see the light, but it is an illusion, not the truth. Many people who practice qigong often enter the devil's realm and unconsciously notice that they are really missing a thousand miles. It is necessary to use the meaning of "if there is something, if there is nothing, it seems to be seen but not seen". It cannot be intentional or unintentional. Naturally, that's right.
When your mind is slightly focused on the "ancestral orifice", your own sexual light will appear. At first, it is dotted and drifting, and its light is weak, so don't worry about it. It seems to come from outside at first. After discovering it, you can focus on it with your mind and focus on it, that is, shine your mind on the white light. This is the gathering nature. Gong; then gradually condenses into pieces from points, and the pieces come from the outside to the inside, and slowly gather together; then they gather and disperse sometimes, making it difficult to fix; just like ignorance finally becomes one piece without fluctuations. The true nature has been gathered in this way, and we have entered great tranquility.
Just by looking at the expression of nature, you can know the gathering and dispersion of self-esteem. The scattering nature of light means dispersion, the concentrating nature of light means gathering, the nature of light concentration means concentration, the nature of light fullness means fullness, and the nature of light roundness means roundness. Patriarch Wang Chongyang originally described its shape and said: "Yuan Tuo Tuo, the light is scorching." The round one means that it has no irregular shape, and the scorching one means that it has no black holes. Only in this way can the "natural light*" be achieved. The highest state. Entering this realm is a matter of life and death. But if you don’t go deep into great concentration and possess extremely high merit, it will be impossible to achieve it.
When sightseeing, although "viewing" is used, it is not actually observing. Everything happens naturally. To practice this skill, one must proceed step by step, from small light to large light, from weak light to strong light, from wavering light to light concentration, from patchy light to concentrated light. There are also people who have been practicing for many days and their eyes are dark but they have never seen the light, so they cannot pursue it.
Note: What is mentioned above is the way of "listening" and "sightseeing". Although it seems to be action, it is actually inaction; in inaction, everything is done. Although it is said to be listening, there is actually no listening; although it is said to be sightseeing, there is actually no observation. There is no interest in listening, and there is nothing in listening; there is no light in sightseeing, there is nothing in light. Breath without breath is called true breath; light without light is called true light. From this, you can comprehend true tranquility.
The method of "sightseeing" is also called "huiguang" in ancient Taoist books; the method of listening to the breath is also called "breath control" in ancient Taoist books. Therefore, the meditation practice method taught here was also called "returning to the light and adjusting the breath" by the ancients.
"Qiu Zu's Secret Dan Zhizhi" discusses "Huiguang Breath Adjustment" and says: "The method starts from the corners of the eyes and closes the heart to the middle of the eyes, and uses one's body and mind to absorb all of it. This is the so-called "the universe and the earth are gathered together".
The method of returning light has another meaning. After sightseeing, you need to shine this light into the lower Dantian, and then do Qi refining. This needs to be practiced in conjunction with the second step of foundation building - breathing and breathing, which will be discussed in the breathing and breathing method. .
4. The method of quietness and cessation of thoughts
The key to quietness is to enter tranquility; the key to tranquility is to stop thoughts. To stop thoughts is to get rid of distracting thoughts in the mind, and then do meditation wholeheartedly.
Often some people don't realize that they have distracting thoughts in their minds at ordinary times, but when they sit quietly, all the thoughts come to mind. Only through the method of calming down thoughts and eliminating distracting thoughts can we achieve good quiet skills.
4. Classics of Cultivation
Since ancient times, cultivation has gradually evolved from the pursuit of immortality to the hope of immortality and ascension. The classics of cultivation theory have also gradually changed from simplicity to fantasy. In the Ming and Qing Dynasties, The world is closer to the words of those who are eccentric. Roughly speaking, the following classics may be regarded as representative works of the theory of cultivation at that time:
1. Tao Te Ching (Laozi), Nanhua Jing (Zhuangzi), Liezi, Wenzi, Guan Yinzi, Great Learning, Doctrine of the Mean, and Bao Puzi (internal and external chapters), Qing Jing Sutra, Heart Seal Miao Sutra
2. The Song of the Right Way to Break the Mystery, The Song of Knocking Yao, The Hundred-Character Tablet, The Song of the Great Way, The Song of the Lingyuan Great Way, The Song of Qingtian, and Yongjia Zhengdao Song, Yin Fu Jing, Huang Ting Jing, Zhou Yi Shen Tong Qi, and Medicine Mirror
3. The Complete Works of Zhang Sanfeng, Huang Yuanji's Collected Works, Ancient Books in Yinlou Collection, Zhonglu Chuandao Collection, Lingbao Bifa, Zhixuan Chapter, Great Alchemy Direct Points, Enlightenment Chapter, Qinghua Secret Text, and Golden Elixir Four Hundred Words
It is recommended that beginners read Tian Chengyang's "Chinese Taoist Cultivation"
One of the habits of Taoism is "It is forbidden for others not to pass it on", so there are many people who hide treasures in secret rooms without others knowing about them. In addition, during the Tang and Song dynasties, there were many successful practitioners, but unfortunately they have not been systematically discussed, so it is not convenient to list them here.
Cultivation, literally means seeking the true self through practice. But now it is misunderstood by people as something about becoming an immortal and becoming a Buddha! Cultivation is to constantly find out one’s true self through continuous practice of oneself. It's not enough to let you understand yourself better. This is cultivation. If you don't understand yourself thoroughly, why talk about becoming an immortal or a Buddha! The Tao is in the heart! The Buddha is in the heart! One's own heart can judge others, and others can judge one's own heart!
There are also others who practice, such as sword immortals. The way of the Sword Immortal is to practice the golden energy of the Lung Palace, and then transfer to the Li Palace to use the mysterious fire to train the Nine Heavens Divine Sword. Until the "Sword Light" is cast in the palace, then the five elements of true energy are gathered inside, the innocent earth spirit is collected outside, the fairy sword is refined outside, and the enemy is slain thousands of miles away. It's a pity that it is really difficult to practice. I believe that if you practice this way, you will be able to shock the world and make ghosts and gods cry.
5. Introduction to Cultivation
The name of Cultivation has existed since ancient times, and it is commonly known as Taoism. It includes the entire practice process of moving to transform essence, refining essence to transform Qi, refining Qi to transform into spirit, refining spirit to return to emptiness, returning emptiness to combine with Tao, and attaining the status of true immortal. What is true? It is the karma of a real person, and it is a true immortal. It is not a self-proclaimed one, but it is actually a title granted by the upper realm of space. Real people are the highest realm of Taoist cultivators. Practitioners should be ambitious, far-sighted, diligent throughout their lives, practice hard, and advance their virtues and merits in order to reach the superior realm of real people and immortals. Therefore, it is called cultivation.
Today’s Qigong is only in the primary category of the cultivation process. The word Qigong was first seen in the chapter "Qigong Explanation" recorded in "Religion Jingming Lu" written by Xu Xun of the Jin Dynasty. Because of its narrow meaning, it has not been widely adopted. There is also a chapter called "Qigong Supplement" in "Yuanhe Pian" published in the Qing Dynasty. In the past one or two hundred years, the word Qigong has been most commonly used in the martial arts community. After liberation and after the publication of Mr. Liu Guizhen's "Qigong Therapy Practice" in the 1950s, the word Qigong was gradually accepted by people. However, its concept is still incomplete so far. Although various schools of thought have elaborated on it, they still feel that its meaning is narrow and cannot accommodate the huge system of cultivation.
In the eyes of our ancestors, Qi is a philosophical concept. Qi is the root of all things in the universe, time and space, and is a basic substance. "Huangdi Neijing? Su Wen" says: "Qi begins to generate and transform, Qi disperses and becomes tangible, Qi spreads and nurtures, and Qi ends with changes." The transformation, growth, reproduction, and death of all things are all caused by Qi throughout the process. , Qi is the foundation and foundation of all things. "The life of a person depends on the accumulation of Qi. When it gathers, it leads to life, and when it disperses, it leads to death." The Qi Transformation Theory in traditional Chinese medicine divides the concept of Qi into more details, such as innate Qi, post-Qi, Ying Qi, and Wei Qi. Qi, Zong Qi, meridian Qi, organ Qi, Yuan Qi, Hunyuan Qi, Zhen Qi, etc. For cultivators, the basic substance used in practice is actually the sublimated substance in the innate world - Yuan Qi. In order to distinguish the difference between ordinary Qi and Qi in cultivation, the ancients used "Qi" and "Qi" to distinguish them, so as to distinguish the qualitative difference between the two. True Qi contains both innate Qi and the essence of acquired water, valley, and heaven and earth Qi. Simply replacing it with Qi is difficult to summarize.
The quality of Qi, a substance, varies greatly at different stages of practice, but it is difficult to observe with the naked eye. At the level of "qi", its density is low and its quality is not high; at the level of "qi", its density, concentration and quality are greatly improved, showing the properties of light, which can be observed with the naked eye with a little attention. At a higher level, the nature of its light becomes more obvious, showing five colors; at higher levels, it returns to the eighty-one sun sky, and returns to the three pure and empty natural world.
Human immortals cannot produce the Hinayana method, earthly immortals cannot produce the Medium multiplication method, and gods cannot produce the Mahayana method. This is the number of three times, which is actually one. It is not difficult to use the Dharma to seek the Tao, and it is also very easy to seek immortality through the Tao. If the Dharma is not in line with the Tao, he will dazzle with excessive hearing and strong knowledge. He will develop a side sect of the Dharma. He will not be immune to illness and death. He will also pretend to be a corpse, confuse the world, flatter each other, and will not listen to the Tao. It is easy to achieve merit by using small methods from side schools, but the common people often teach them to each other, and they will not understand until they die, and then they become customs and corrupt the Dao. Although people who have faith and perseverance have been practicing for a long time, they finally end up under the spring without seeing the secrets and order of the hall. Alas!
There is no question about the Tao, and there is no answer to the question. As soon as the true essence is judged, Tai Chi has dispersed. "Tao generates one, one generates two, and two generates three." One is the body, the second is the use, and the third is the creation. The functions of the body are not due to yin and yang, but all creation is due to sexual intercourse.
The top, middle, and bottom are the three talents, and heaven, earth, and man are one. Tao generates two qi, qi generates three talents, and three talents generates five elements. The five elements produce all things. Among all things, the most spiritual and noble one is human beings. However, humans should exhaust the principles of all things, exhaust their own nature, exhaust their principles and exhaust their nature, so as to achieve life, complete life, and preserve life in order to comply with the Tao. They should be as solid as heaven and earth, and their body can be long-lasting.
1. Methods of Cultivation
There are those who practice dynamically, those who practice quietly, and those who practice both dynamically and quietly.
Those who practice by moving have two methods:
The first one is to follow the exercises and routines created by people and move according to the postures. The ancient Baduanjin is the same as the exercises and routines popularly promoted by various schools today. Many enthusiasts study ginseng from east to west, learning one routine today and doing another exercise tomorrow, showing off their erudition, which is ridiculous sincerely. Routines are like tricks, and they are created by others. If you don't break out, time will be wasted. This kind of practice is like studying. If you switch from one elementary school to another, if you don't wake up suddenly, it may be difficult to hope for further education.
The second one is those who practice spiritual movement (also known as spiritual movement). This method is very quiet and vivid, the consciousness is quiet, the original nature is mobilized, and the body is automatic. Its movements are commanded by the original spirit and are not subjective. Will is a moving thought, in various shapes and forms, conforming to nature. At first glance, it seems chaotic, but in fact it is orderly. Its effect is superior to that of deliberate arrangement. Tao follows nature. This method is quite in line with the purpose of nature, but in this method it is better to gather the five elements first, harmonize the four images, and reconcile the yin and yang in the body to avoid the excessive yin energy coming out, which can easily be controlled by the devil and lead astray. If one can truly understand its principles and methods, this is a superior method. The purpose and effect of those who move to practice cultivation are actually to refine the body and transform it into essence, to turn grain into essence, to cure diseases, to dredge meridians and collaterals, to repair leaks and strengthen the body, which belongs to the starting point of "clearing the earth and leveling the foundation" in the alchemy method. Dharma.
For those who practice spiritually, this is the quick method of "clearing the ground and leveling the foundation". In life and life, we are deeply troubled by the seven emotions and six desires, corroded by the eight evil diseases, the internal organs are damaged, and the meridians are blocked. Once a man passes the age of sixteen, his half-yin and half-yang state is broken, his nature is consumed at the top, and his life is consumed at the bottom. His soul, vitality, and essence are taken away by all things in the world. This is normal. However, those who cultivate the truth grasp yin and yang, cultivate both body and soul, and cultivate both life and life. Changing one's body shape will increase one's lifespan. "There is a wonderful way to rejuvenate one's youth, but to rejuvenate one's life, one only needs to unblock the meridians from the disease." If you complete this step with movement, you will be fast, if you complete this step with stillness, you will be slow.
To remove diseases and clear the meridians, it is extremely difficult for Youwei routine exercises to be comprehensive, clear in priority, and orderly. As the saying goes: "Everything with action is false, but without action is true everywhere." Therefore, active cultivation is still necessary. Those who practice based on divine inspiration are the best choices. Divine movements comply with the laws of nature. Their principles are profound, their movements are real, their adjustments are accurate, their order is orderly, and their effects are rapid. Moreover, there is stillness in the movement. The innate soul and the acquired consciousness are practiced in synchronization and coordination. From the beginning, the key to dual cultivation of life and life has been grasped. Fellow practitioners can realize it on their own. Those who have experienced spontaneous activation will gain something from understanding my teachings. If they can obtain my Eight Meridians Divine Cultivation Golden Pill Secret, they will be able to sail along the current and reach the ladder of understanding the mind and nature as soon as possible. .
Those who practice quietly should sit quietly at the beginning, calm their mind, refine themselves, collect medicines and apply them. If they get the true secret, they will have a good chance of success. But it only takes a long time. Through meditation, it is easy to get the light of nature, but it is difficult to find the fire of life, especially for those who are older and suffer from chronic diseases.
Cultivation of both movement and stillness, this method is more perfect than the single cultivation method mentioned above, and is more in line with the laws of Tao. The method of cultivating both movement and stillness masters the general purpose of cultivating both spirit and form, and cultivating both life and life. From stillness to movement, and then from movement to stillness, you can gain the true interest of repair and cultivation. External movement is inner stillness, inner movement is outer stillness. Movement and stillness are only relative terms. This is the law of nature. For example, when one enters stillness before spiritual movement, one's body will be quiet but the spirit will move, and then the body will move and the spirit will be still, especially if one knows the spirit but does not guard it. After finishing the spiritual movement, sit down and think about it, which means you will be quiet on the outside but active on the inside. Practicing both movement and stillness is better than practicing purely with movement or purely with tranquility. The effect is obvious and the time is shorter. A wise person should choose the method of practicing both movement and stillness when cultivating the truth. If a person does not have an acquired strong physique, how can he have innate energy? Without a Vajra body, how can a baby cultivate to become an immortal? This principle is easy to understand.
There are methods of cultivating the truth, including cultivating both life and life, some cultivating only life, and some cultivating only nature. The differences vary according to the number of secrets obtained. The superior method is the Taoist method of cultivating both nature and life, the middle method is the method of cultivating nature, and the method of cultivating life is the inferior method.
Those who only cultivate their fortunes have not obtained the true secret, do not understand the great way, sit still and be stubborn, guard the dry pot all day long, fake cooking and refining, do not know whether the water source is clear or turbid, do not know the method of collecting medicine, and have long-term spiritual absorption. Acupuncture point, hold on to it without retreating, the spirit will be wrapped up, and a "death pill" will be formed. If you want to cure diseases and prolong life, you can practice it to the point of being a ghost or immortal at most. Most people among the people who have learned a secret or a method and practiced it belong to this kind of situation.
There are those who specialize in cultivating the nature but not the destiny. Such practitioners will not be able to achieve the secrets. Even if they cultivate the nature, it is still a shallow level of the nature. Practitioners sit quietly for a while, study the Tao and preach the scriptures, penetrate the worldly affairs, purify the human heart, see the heavenly mind again, silently realize the Tao mind, and then cultivate the mind and nature. Their cultivation is only to cultivate their original nature, and they mistakenly believe that the flash of the light of nature means knowing the mind and seeing the nature, but they don't know how to absorb the light and cultivate the spirit, how to temper the spirit, how to use the nature into the life, and how to cultivate both life and life.
The study of self-cultivation is actually the study of cultivating both life and spirit, as well as spiritual and physical cultivation. If you want to pursue the great purpose of cultivation and return to enlightenment, you must take the smooth path of cultivating both life and life. The two practice methods mentioned above can be said to be half-complete and incomplete methods.
The method of cultivating both life and life is a method of cultivating oneself and not leaking anything. Specifically speaking, to refine oneself is to understand one’s mind and see one’s nature. What is nature? God is nature, Qi is life. The root of the heart is nature, the root of nature is God, and God resides in the heart. In fact, the three are one. Its hexagram is Li hexagram, its direction belongs to south, its five elements belong to fire, and the true liquid in fire is water. Cultivation of the mind and nature is the first step in cultivating the truth. The effort of cultivating one's life is to not miss anything.
There are levels of non-leakage. First, practice the non-leakage of essence, then reach the point where the eyes, ears, nose, tongue and body are all non-leakage, and then reach the state of clearing all leakage. Ming is the kidney and essence. It refines the form into essence, refines essence into Qi, and replenishes the innate Qi in the future. Its hexagram is Kan, its direction is north, its five elements belong to water, and the true essence in water is fire. The elixir material It all depends on this.
The so-called "no leakage" means to cut off the root of lust. However, cutting off the root of lust does not solve everything. If it does not control the lust of a woman, but if it causes nocturnal emission, it needs to be treated with the law. Furthermore, all three of the adulterous thoughts, adulterous roots, and adulterous bodies must be cut off, and they cannot be cultivated to the point where there are no leaks. Not having sex with your wife is just a matter of cutting off the body, but the lust and root of the sex are still not cut off. Especially the lust is difficult to cut off.
I have never practiced cultivation, but it is difficult to decipher the word "color". It is said in the Alchemy Sutra that if you cut off the root of adultery, you will be an immortal, and if you do not leak it, you will be an immortal. The word color is the most difficult to get rid of. The more you reject it, the deeper you will fall into the truth. This thought will not be extinguished as long as you breathe. The scripture says: "Those who eat color are their nature." If there is no color, the road will be blocked and the people will be sparse, and the race will not be able to reproduce. Color is a word, since it is good to have it, and it is not good to have it without it. It is difficult to abstain from it if it is present, and it is difficult to cultivate the Tao without it. The door of my life, the door of my death, life and death, life and death, all end in this door. Cover is born from color, love is born from love, love is born from lust, and lust is born from coffin. These are all connected. Children are born from the direct movement of the love essence, and they become immortals when they go retrograde. Ordinary people use the sperm to have intercourse with a woman and give birth to a son. The essence will be exhausted and return to the underworld. But the Taoist monks cut off this essence and do not have intercourse with the woman or leak out of the Yang Guan. When this essence is exhausted and converted into Yuan Jing, it goes retrograde and returns to the body. The dragon and the tiger join together to form a holy fetus. Those who are willing to give birth to children will have children and grandchildren born on their behalf after their own death. Those who retrograde and become immortals do not need others to be born on my behalf, but I am born on my behalf, with an immortal golden body and a coexistence with the Great Dao. This is the meaning of Zhuangzi's "Those who give birth to life will not live, and those who kill living things will not die."
The Southern School of Cultivation advocates first fulfilling the human way, and then completing the immortal way. Entering the Tao in middle age, with a calm nature and a calm desire, turns human feelings into Tao feelings. After receiving the order of life, repairing the omissions and repairing the Yao, it is not difficult to enter the Tao. When you enter Taoism in your later years, your vitality will decline. In the old society, in order to seek quick results, most people used the grafting method. It is difficult for people today to have this condition, so it is still better to repair using the grafting method. Although it is a little more time-consuming, it is still safe. It is better to ask for others than to ask for yourself, so as to avoid criticism, and the secret of dual cultivation is very simple and not complicated, but it is difficult to put it on paper.
When young people enter Taoism, it is better to cultivate their nature as well as their life. Young people have little experience in worldly affairs. Most of the time, cultivation is caused by temporary temperament, or occasionally due to frustration and ambition. It has not overcome the worldly affairs. If you cultivate your life and cut off your essence, you may suffer the pain of turning back in the future. If you continue to practice diligently without leakage, it will be difficult to cultivate the true marrow path. If the marrow path is not clear, it will be difficult to enter the palace of the Golden Immortal. Most people today misunderstand Zhou Tiantong by understanding the mind and meridians. This is a big fallacy. Those who have no ambition to enter the Tao will find it difficult to practice this method. If they do not practice this method, it will also be difficult to enter the optimal state of dual cultivation of life and life. Don't be careful.
Cultivation of sex will lead to death, and cultivation of life will bring life to life. The deceased is the death of the ordinary mind and the death of the desire mind. The death of the mind and the resurrection of the spirit are controlled by the Daoshu. The living person is the vitality of the essence and vitality. The kidney is strong and does not leak the vitality. There are many medicinal materials for alchemy at home. The so-called subduing the dragon and subduing the tiger means that the dragon refers to nature, which is consciousness and desire; the tiger refers to life, which refers to kidney water and turbid essence. The heart is fixed and the dragon returns to the sea, but the love forgets that the tiger hides in the mountain.
To study the theory of Taoist cultivation, in one word, we must grasp the theory of yin and yang. The theory of yin and yang runs through the theory of Dan Jing. Nothing is yin and yang. There is yang in yin, and yin in yang. Those who use it don't see it, and those who see it don't use it. Such as dragon, tiger, black rabbit, lead and mercury...the list goes on and on. They are all yin within yang and yang within yin. Generally speaking, they are the basic substances for cultivating both life and nature. As long as researchers and practitioners study from a high-level perspective, it will not be difficult to outline the subject.
The key to self-cultivation says: "The great road is unconditioned and natural, and there is no way around it without effort. Look for the true seed at the crossroads, and refine your nature in the Bagua furnace. There is no Dharma boat that can cross the sea, and medicines that you carry with you can prolong your life." It is difficult to predict the hidden virtues in the punishment. The four images must be harmonious and return to the true nature, and the five elements must be gathered together to grow golden lotus. It is better to know the good and the bad before entering the mysterious world. , Quan Cheng’s parents cultivated themselves into immortals and became Buddhas through this, and the remaining two are all biased.”
The study of Taoist internal skills is closely related to internal alchemy. Law". For external use, it mainly uses Yuanshen, and using Zhenqi is a primary-level spell. Advanced inner strength spells are methods of cultivating the soul and transforming the spirit. However, the ecstasy must be based on the life base, and the life base is not solid. The yin of the ecstasy must be heavier than the yang, making it unusable. Therefore, when cultivating magic, you must focus on the method of cultivating both life and life, and focus more on refining your nature. However, in the method of refining the nature, since the five internal organs are adjusted to respond to the five external elements, the life skill is also included in it. This is the clear distinction of priorities and tolerance in the authentic exercises.
