Natural Sleeping Buddha in Lingyun Mountain:

Looking in the direction of Baishan Mountain and Mayan Mountain in Lingyun Mountain, what we see are two natural Sleeping Buddhas extending from the ridge. The Sleeping Buddha in Baishan Mountain is long. About 2 kilometers long, the Sleeping Buddha on Mayan Mountain is about 1.5 kilometers long. It is connected in a meandering way, facing north and south. It is said that it was the manifestation of the Buddha, and its orientation is consistent with the direction in which Sakyamuni Buddha passed away. Compared with the Leshan Sleeping Buddha, it looks more peaceful and natural. What is even more amazing is that since the Tang and Song Dynasties, eminent monks and virtuous men have built temples on the heads of the two sleeping Buddhas to practice meditation and achieve enlightenment.

The Four Phases and Five Elements of Lingyun Mountain:

Like a tortoise carrying a heavy load, the tortoise pattern, glans, eyes, back, scales and longevity lines are clear, symbolizing longevity. , resembles the auspicious turtle. Look, there are grooves and cement-filled caves in the middle of the turtle's back. This is what was left by the mountain people who wanted to mine this stone to build houses in the early 1990s. They blasted the stone. Miraculously, it all turned into a squib, leaving what we have today. The turtle stone you saw is amazing!

Dazi Cave is a monk’s tomb dug in the 14th year of Hongzhi in the Ming Dynasty (1501). It is the head of the turtle, and the real military attache is there. On the back of the turtle, the two ridges on the left side of the road up the mountain are the turtle's hind legs struggling to push forward, so this mountain is called Xuanwu Mountain. The mountain on the left in front is Qinglong Mountain. The longest point of the entire mountain is 330 meters and the widest point is 33 meters. It is surrounded by cliffs, shaped like a green dragon worshiping a turtle. There are many huge rocks in the mountain, some like a coiling dragon, some like a crouching dragon, and some like a dragon spitting beards. They are in various shapes and lifelike, and also imply the mystery of Lingyun Mountain on March 3rd. The mountain on the right in front is Baihu Mountain. Looking at the front from the bottom of Tiger Mountain, I can see a crouching tiger standing in the vast pine forest, and a pine wind blows, like the roar of a tiger. Directly in front is Zhuque Mountain, which is about 2 kilometers long. The mountain is shaped like a big roc, looking down at the distant mountains, as if it is spreading its wings and is ready to fly.

The land is a geomantic treasure). After inspecting Lingyun Mountain, Wang Mingyuan, a professor at West China Normal University, wrote in the article "The Best Feng Shui Landscape in the World": In terms of ancient geography and public opinion, Lingyun Mountain has the hero of a soaring dragon and a crouching tiger, the beauty of a red bird and a black basalt, and is symmetrical and moderate. standard.

The ideal Feng Shui model that has been practiced for thousands of years is actually the reality in front of us. What’s even better is that Qi is gathered in the center of the Four Phases (300 meters in front of the Sanqing Hall, there is the Wuji Energy Field of the Back Earth in the Center of the Five Elements, which is the center of the Four Phases and Five Elements. , shouting to the surroundings here will have echoes. In a place with no mountains and deep valleys around, this wonderful phenomenon is extremely rare. Now we are planning to build the Tianlai Bagua Platform). Four natures merge into one, and one becomes four. It is amazing! Sichuan Ma Zhengping and Li Xiaobo, professors of Normal University, said: In the past, the four phases and five behaviors of Feng Shui were studied as the most ideal Feng Shui model, but they were all legendary, abstract, ideal, and in books. The four elements of Lingyun Mountain we see today The Five Elements are both physical and spiritual, and will become a living specimen for colleges and universities to study oriental architectural Feng Shui and ancient geography. The late Master Fu Yuantian, the late president of the China Taoist Association, visited Lingyun Mountain for inspection and said: Lingyun Mountain’s Four Phases and Five Elements are rare in the world, and he suggested that Lingyun Mountain be built into a Taoist city.

As the Feng Shui theory of traditional Chinese culture, it is profound and profound. Please take your time to ponder and study it. Lingyun Mountain, this unique geomantic treasure land, is probably the best interpretation of "Lingyun World Spirit"!

Lingyun Mountain Zhenwu Palace:

The Zhenwu Palace was built in the Qing Dynasty, with a wooden plaque The words "True Military Attache" were handwritten by Fu Yuantian, the late president of the Chinese Taoist Association. In the main hall, there is a statue of the Zhenwu Patriarch, fully armed, wearing armor and holding a sword, looking majestically in front. The left and right corridors are the ten marshals. At the back of the main hall, separated from the Zhenwu Patriarch by a wall, is Cihang Zhenren. The Laojun Pavilion is built on the top hill. It is simple and elegant in the shape of Bagua, with carved beams and paintings. The stone statue in the pavilion interprets the story of Laozi riding a green ox to the west to transform the beard. The eight stone pillars outside the pavilion are all reliefs of rolling dragons holding the pillars. The craftsmanship Superb.

Every year from the first to the third day of the third lunar month, Lingyun Mountain Taoist Temple holds a grand Taoist banner-tying ceremony. The scale is grand and the scene is spectacular. Hundreds of thousands of believers compete to worship, and the crowds of people are like weaving and shoulder to shoulder. It is called among the people. "March 3, Chao Ling Mountain". The long rope was rolled up and entangled into a strange banner that could not be untied and could predict the future of the year. Knot.

Lingyun Giant Buddha in Baishan Mountain:

Next to the rippling blue Lingyun Lake, at the end of the leading square with towering trees, green grass and dazzling flowers, it is carved according to the cliff of Maweipo. The Giant Grotto Buddha is the Lingyun Giant Buddha, a statue of Amitabha, which is the most famous landscape in Lingyun Mountain. When monks, nuns, and believers meet, they often clasp their hands and recite "Amitabha" as a blessing, blessing, and greeting. Why? It is said that it is because Amitabha is the leading Buddha, the Buddha among Buddhas and the king among Buddhas. The Buddha statue is 99 meters high, which is 11 meters higher than the 88-meter tall bronze statue of the Lingshan Giant Buddha in Wuxi, which is known as the world's largest Buddha. The shoulders and head of the giant Buddha are more than 30 meters, which is equivalent to a height of 10 stories. It can be said that the Buddha is a mountain and the mountain is a Buddha.

The Lingyun Giant Buddha is a statue of the cliff grotto. It is 12 meters away from the edge of the cave. It can provide scientific drainage, moisture isolation and ventilation, which can prevent the erosive weathering of the Buddha. Looking up at the Big Buddha in the square, you will feel as if you are looking up into the clouds. There are several observation points on the mountains on both sides of the Buddha statue and nearby hills to facilitate visitors to worship.

Baishan Zhuque Mountain:

Zhuque Mountain is located in front of Lingyun Mountain, shaped like a big roc spreading its wings and about to fly. Around the mountain, there are carved artistic stone sculptures of the Reclining Buddha (the Nirvana image of Sakyamuni), the thirty-three incarnations of Avalokitesvara, and the Five Hundred Arhats (partially).

Lingyun Reclining Buddha, also known as the Nirvana Statue of Sakyamuni. Sakyamuni was born in 623 BC. According to legend, he could walk seven steps in a circle right after his birth. Wherever his feet stepped, seven lotuses appeared. He looked around, pointed one finger to the sky and the other to the ground, and said to himself: "I am the only one in heaven and under heaven." Later, he became dissatisfied with the unequal social phenomenon and left the palace. At the age of 35, he became enlightened and his holy name was Sakyamuni Buddha. He continued to preach the Dharma from his enlightenment to Nirvana at the age of 80. The grotto is 72 meters long and is the longest stone carving art statue in the world.

The content of the carving is the story of the death of Sakyamuni Buddha, which is composed of three parts. On the left is Sakyamuni's Nirvana, entering the highest state of immortality, with a kind face and a natural expression; slightly away from the golden section point is a huge tree. The bodhi tree connects the upper and lower edges of the cave. Its leaves embellish the entire picture and divide the picture into two. It not only enriches the content of the picture, but also solves the mechanical problem of supporting the roof of the cave. On the right is the devotion of the eight disciples of Sakyamuni Buddha. Praise the Master for passing through the three doors of liberation, with a solemn demeanor and extremely sincere heart.

The thirty-three incarnations of Guanyin are cave art statues. Each incarnation is a classic Buddhist story. There are various names for Buddha and Bodhisattva in Buddhism, among which the one most remembered by ordinary people is Guanyin Bodhisattva. Guanyin Bodhisattva is a representative of great mercy and compassion in Buddhism. When Guanyin was first introduced to China, she was a male and later evolved into a female. Her main task in the Western Paradise is to assist Amitabha Buddha in saving sentient beings, and to assist Sakyamuni in teaching in the whirling world, that is, the real world. Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva can transform into many wonderful appearances and speak endless secret divine mantras. The wonderful appearance he appears and the divine mantra he chants can make all living beings fearless. Her main body is the perfect and pure treasure enlightenment Guanyin, which has 32 incarnations in response to the opportunities of all living beings. Each stone statue is 3-5 meters high, with well-proportioned proportions, plump body, graceful and elegant, and is quite reminiscent of the Tang Dynasty.

The artistic stone carvings of Five Hundred Arhats (part) are distributed on the south side of Zhuque Mountain. The caves are 3-5 meters high and the statues are 2-4 meters high. Arhat is the most ideal and highest attainment status in Theravada Buddhism. There are three meanings, one is to kill thieves, the second is to provide, and the third is to live without life. All the arhats are independent, but also take care of each other. Their movements and stillness blend into one unified whole. Some show a stern yet compassionate character; some reveal holiness and wisdom; some are romantic; some have a peaceful expression; some are simple and lovely; some are profound; some are dumbfounded. It seems to tell people that although Arhat is otherworldly and does not suffer from the reincarnation of life and death, he still has joy, anger, sorrow and joy, and the Western Heaven is not a complete paradise.
