The places of interest in Haizhu District include:
1. Chigang Tower.
Chigang Tower is located at Xinshitou, southeast of Guangzhou Bridge. It is one of the existing ancient towers in Guangzhou. It is located in Chigang, hence its name. Built in the 47th year of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty, it is the third "Feng Shui Pagoda" built after Pazhou Pagoda and Lotus Pagoda.
2. Qixinggang Ancient Coast Site.
The Qixinggang Ancient Coast Site is located in Shiliugang, Haizhu District. In front of a large piece of exposed red rock conglomerate is a spacious sea erosion platform. There is a series of half-meter-deep wave caves in the lower part of the stone cliff, making the upper part a forehead-shaped protrusion, about 2 meters high.
3. Wei Clan Ancestral Hall.
The Wei Ancestral Hall was built in the 43rd year of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty, 388 years ago. The main ancestral hall of the Wei family is located in Lijiao Fusiyue. It is the main ancestral hall of the Wei surname in this township. It was first built in the Ming Dynasty and rebuilt in the Qing Dynasty. It consists of the head gate, archway, worship pavilion, middle hall and back hall, covering an area of more than 2,000 square meters.
