Travel to Yushan 1
Travel to Yushan (1)
On the 18th (2), I visited Langshan (3) with Li Shunzhai. I sat in the Cuijing Tower and looked at Yushan, which was a pleasure. On the 21st, we bought a boat to cross the river and arrived in Changshu tomorrow morning. At that time, Huifu of Yizhou, Zhao State, returned from his official career and lived in Changshu, so he went on a tour with him.
Yushan Jiwei enters the mature city (4) from the east, and winds out of the city to the west (5). It stretches for twenty miles, with wide fields on all sides and mountains in it. The most outstanding one is Fushui Rock. The huge boulders are tens of feet high and stacked in parallel layers. They look like piles of mushrooms or giant plates as a platform. Their color is mottled with green, red and ocher, and it is dazzling to the eye. There are two stones divided in the middle, called the Sword Gate, and the Taoist Tower stands erect (6), which is strange and almost indescribable (7). Looking down from Juyan, the area spreads over tens of thousands of hectares (8). The Chenghu Lake flows into the stream (9), and the river flows vertically and horizontally (10), embroidering the heavenly blessings. Looking south to Piling and Zhenze (11), the mountains are green and the clouds are high (12). The rain and sun shine on the peaks. The water yin is thin (13), swinging and closing, changing and disappearing without instant concentration. Outside, the sky is surrounded by mist and mist, and the light and color are pure. You can only see the canthus (14), and the spirit and extreme gallop. At the foot of the rock is the former site of Fushui Villa, where Qian Muzhai lived (15). Sigh! With the victory of Ziqiu, Qian's despair could not be hidden here (16), and Yu and Yizhou were happy but could not leave. Yan'a is the Vimalakia Temple (17), which was destroyed by chaos (18).
After leaving the temple, we walked westward for a few turns, crossing the mountains and heading north. The sea of clouds was clear, as if it were outside the sky, and Langshan Mountain suddenly appeared in front of us. Now it refers to Yizhou: "I once traveled up there." Then westward. Below, there is Sanfeng Temple, where you can rest in a room. There are many ancient trees in front of me, including a Podocarpus, which is peeling off and bald (19), which looks like something that has been around for hundreds of years. The monks in the temple were all drinking wine, eating fruit and bamboo shoots, but the two of them had been paid, and the day was over (20). Follow the mountain to the north and pass Anfu Temple. People in the Tang Dynasty often built temples called Broken Mountain Temple (21). Deep and profound is called Jian poetry. There are many sweet-scented osmanthus flowers (22) in the temple, and they have been fragrant since the temple began.
Go back from the north gate of Changshu to the tombs of Yanzi and Zhongyong (23), above which is the Xinfeng Pavilion. The sun is setting, and the mountain path is too dangerous to go up. I hope to go there with the help of the sun (24). Wind and rain, no result. On the 24th, he set off to visit Wumen (25). We sat on the Cuijing Tower and looked at Yushan from a distance. We thought the scenery was beautiful. On the 21st, we hired a boat to cross the river. The next morning, we arrived in Changshu. At this time, Zhao Huifu of Yizhou happened to have returned from his official duties and was living in Changshu, so he went with me to play.
The back of Yushan Mountain extends eastward into Changshu City. Leaving the city diagonally to the west, it stretches for twenty miles, surrounded by vast fields and mountains in the middle. Among them, the best scenic spot is Fushui Rock. The large rocks are dozens of feet high. They are piled up one after another, like layers of Ganoderma lucidum, and like a platform built with overlapping large stone plates. They are dark blue, red, and colorful. , dazzling. There are two stones separated from the middle, called Jianmen. They stand as steep as cracks and their shapes are almost indescribable. Squatting on the rock and looking down, the fields are flat and vast, about tens of thousands of hectares, with clear blue lakes and rushing creeks criss-crossing, flowing, and tumbling, as gorgeous as a natural picture. Looking to the south, you can see Piling and Zhenze, and the green mountains are connected and towering into the clouds. Rain and sunlight fall on the mountain peaks in varying degrees, and the water vapor approaches, opening and closing, changing rapidly. Outside it is filled with smoke and clouds, and the sky is full of light and color. You can see far into the distance and your heart is wandering to the sky. At the foot of the rock is the former site of Fushui Villa, where Qian Muzhai once lived. well! With such a good hill resort, Mr. Qian was too confused to live in seclusion here for the rest of his life, but Zhao Huifu and I were so happy that we didn’t want to leave! On the side of the cliff is the Vimalakia Temple, which was mostly destroyed after the war.
After leaving the temple, we walked west, made a slight turn, crossed a ridge, and then headed north. We saw the sea of clouds suddenly clearing up, vague and indistinct, as if it were outside the sky, and Wolf Mountain suddenly appeared in front of us. I pointed to Langshan and told Zhao Huifu that I had visited there a few days ago. Going down from the west is the Sanfeng Temple, where you can rest in a house. When I walked closer to the temple, I saw many ancient trees inside, including a Podocarpus tree. The bark had peeled off and the trunk was bare. It looked like a tree that was hundreds of years old. The monks in the temple prepared wine, vegetables, and fruits for the two of us to eat. The sun was about to set in the west. We walked north along the mountain and passed Anfu Temple. It was the "Broken Mountain Temple" mentioned in the poems of Chang Jian, a poet of the Tang Dynasty. It was quiet and deep, consistent with what he described in his poems. There are many sweet-scented osmanthus trees in the temple, and the way past the temple is filled with fragrance. Returning from the north gate of Changshu, we arrived at the tombs of Yanzi and Zhongyong. Above is Xinfeng Pavilion. The sun had already set by this time, and the mountain road was too steep to go up, so we made an appointment to go sightseeing the next day. Because it was windy and rainy, the trip was not possible.
So we took a boat to Wumen on the 24th. After walking for dozens of miles, Yushan seemed to be still twisting and turning on the canopy of the boat. The view was so clear that it made people want to turn around. Go play again. Title of the work: A Journey to Yushan
Era of creation: Qing Dynasty
Author: Shen Deqian
Genre of the work: Prose A Journey to Yushan (2) Yushan Gone Wucheng is only a hundred miles away, and I have tried to travel many times but failed. In the autumn of Xin Chou, I headed to Jiangyin, boated to the foot of the mountain, and watched the Jianmen Gate enter the clouds, but I didn't reach it in time. In the spring of Bingwu, I returned to Jiangyin, parked at the foot of Zhoushan Mountain, and entered my valley. The leader of the list said: "Twenty miles away from Jianmen." He had not yet reached the summit.
On the eighth day of the first lunar month of Renzi, Zhang Zi Shaoyi and Ye Shengzhongli went on a trip and stayed at Tao family. Tomorrow morning, the sky is about to rain, but the guest has no intention of going there. I have already taken care of my clogs and cannot stop it. Six or seven miles from the north edge of the city, you enter the Poshan Temple. In the Tang Dynasty, a place for chanting poems was often built. The name of the current pond is Hollow, which captures the meaning of the poem. Then we went up from Polong Stream, where we saw raging mountains, crisscrossed ocher stones, and traces of the claws and horns of divine objects, which were sometimes hidden and sometimes exposed. According to legend, a dragon fought with a god, but the dragon was defeated and broke through the mountain.
Alas! Yushan Mountain is only a hundred miles away from Wucheng. I passed by the foot of the mountain twice but was unable to realize my wish to climb the mountain. Now that I have arrived at that place, I only know a little bit about its surface conditions, and I have never visited the deep places, so I feel very unhappy. But among the various realms in the world, some can be understood as soon as they are touched, and as soon as they are understood, they come to an end. They are very happy at the beginning, but then they become boring. I want to find something worth pondering, but I can’t find it at all. You can't find them; on the contrary, those things that are hard to come by, and half of them are gone, make people miss them endlessly. well! This is not just for traveling to the mountains in search of attractions!
