When and how to plant balloon flowers?
First, sowing time
Before you plan to plant platycodon grandiflorum, you should choose seeds to accelerate germination. Choose bigger, fuller and darker seeds. Soak in warm water of 50-60℃, stir constantly during soaking, and filter out impurities. After cooling, soaking in water for 12 hours can improve the germination rate.
Second, select seeds to accelerate germination.
In order to make platycodon grandiflorum grow better, loose and fertile soil must be used as substrate. If you make your own pot soil, you can mix sandy loam, humus and garden soil according to the ratio of 2:2: 1. If you want to make plants grow better, you can provide some nutrients and add a proper amount of bean cake powder to the soil as base fertilizer.
Third, the pot soil preparation
Sprinkle platycodon grandiflorum seeds mixed with sand on the soil surface, and then cover with a layer of pot soil according to the thickness of invisible seeds. After sowing, water thoroughly, put it in a warm and dark place and keep good ventilation until the seeds grow into seedlings. When the seedlings grow up, they can be transplanted.
