The technology and skills of argon arc welding are as follows:

1, wire feeding: divided into inner filling wire and outer filling wire. The external filler wire can be used for priming and filling, with high current, and its welding wire head is on the front of the groove. The welding wire is pinched by the left hand and continuously sent to the molten pool for welding, and the groove gap is required to be small or no gap.

2. Its advantages are large current, small gap, high production efficiency and simple operation. Its disadvantage is that if it is used for primer, because the operator can't see the situation that the blunt edge of the reverse side melts and the height exceeds the standard, it is easy to produce incomplete fusion and unsatisfactory reverse side molding.

3. Filled welding wire can only be used in backing weld. Feed with the thumb, forefinger or middle finger of the left hand. The little finger and the ring finger clamp the welding wire to control the direction, and the blunt edge of the welding wire near the groove is integrated with the blunt edge for welding. The groove gap is required to be greater than the diameter of the welding wire. If it is a plate, the welding wire can be bent into an arc.

4. Its advantages Because the welding wire is on the opposite side of the groove, you can clearly see the melting of the blunt edge and the welding wire, and you can also see the opposite superelevation from the corner of your eye, so the weld is well fused, and the opposite superelevation and unfusion can also be well controlled. The disadvantage is that it is difficult to operate, requiring welders to have relatively skilled operating skills. Due to the large gap, the welding amount also increases accordingly. Because of the large gap and low current, the working efficiency is slower than that of wire filling.

5, welding handle, divided into crank and mop. Crank is to gently press the welding nozzle on the welding seam and shake the arm greatly for welding. Its advantages are good weld protection, good quality, beautiful appearance, high product qualification rate, especially convenient overhead welding, and very beautiful appearance color can be obtained when welding stainless steel.

6. Its advantages are easy to learn and good adaptability, but its disadvantages are poor shape and quality. Especially for overhead welding without crank, it is difficult to get ideal color and shape when welding stainless steel.
