How to control excessive cyanobacteria and green algae in reservoirs
Too many cyanobacteria and green algae are appearances, which actually reflect the increase of eutrophication of reservoir water, involving external pollution and internal pollution of reservoir. Therefore, in order to control cyanobacteria and green algae in the reservoir, it is necessary to comprehensively control the reservoir. 1. Exogenous pollution of reservoir-type water source refers to water pollution caused by water flowing into the reservoir during runoff. Point source pollution and non-point source pollution are distinguished according to whether their pollution sources are fixed discharge locations. This part is mainly through pollution interception, rural domestic pollution control and agricultural non-point source pollution control. 2. Endogenous pollution of water source refers to soil erosion, river bank erosion, atmospheric deposition from its own scope and pollution accumulated at the bottom with the inflow of rivers outside its own scope. The main pollution types that cause endogenous pollution are water level fluctuation zone pollution and sediment pollution. Most reservoirs in China were built in 1950s and 1960s. Sediment deposition is serious, and the pollutant load in sediment is very serious. In summer, the bottom water of the reservoir will be deprived of oxygen due to thermocline, and pollutants in sediments will be released into the water continuously. From the most thorough point of view, it is necessary to remove endogenous pollution, but it is unrealistic for water source reservoirs. Therefore, other means and methods are needed to remove the endogenous pollution of sediments, such as water lifting aeration in the market at present and WEP system in Japan. Generally speaking, I am more optimistic about WEP, because the service area of water lifting aeration is small, and it is easy to roll up sediment during use, which leads to the release of sediment pollutants; But WEP doesn't know if there is a market in China. Fight with your bare hands and score points.
