What's the difference between the animation of Chess Soul and comics?
Chess Soul (Japanese: ヒカルの, Chinese means "Go of Light" and "Chess of Light") is a juvenile cartoon with the theme of Go serialized by Japanese weekly Jiyingshe.
The author is Mi Yu Tian (ほったゆみ). This cartoon was drawn by Takeshi Obata and supervised by Umezawa Yukari, a female chess player of Japanese chess institute. The singles are all 23 volumes.
It has been adapted into an animation, produced by Tokyo TV, Dentsu and pierrot, and broadcast in TXN series from 200/KLOC-0 to 2003. It is divided into two episodes with a total of 75 episodes. In addition, on June 38, 2004+10/October 3, Japan broadcasted a special article "The Road to the Big Dipper Cup".
