Binhai Ancient Garden Cemetery in Fengxian District, Shanghai was founded in March 1985. Approved by Shanghai Civil Affairs Bureau, the cemetery is located at No.755 Guhai Road, Wu Si Farm, Fengxian District, north bank of Hangzhou Bay, creating the first state-owned cemetery in Shanghai-Shanghai Binhai Ancient Garden. Surrounded by the purple flavor of the East China Sea, Binhai Ancient Garden is backed by the bustling city, adjacent to the Shangwan National Forest Park in the west and far from the Donghai Bridge. Its unique geographical location has become a feng shui hazard for the ashes of relatives and friends living in the city.
Shanghai Binhai Ancient Garden Cemetery covers an area of 1.200 mu, and there are hundreds of mu of reserved funeral land around it. It is one of the largest modern cemeteries in Shanghai with the strongest advantages in development and demolition.
