Liancheng Mountain in Hanzhong is a treasure trove of geomantic omen.

Among the Qinling Mountains, the earliest plank road connecting Guanzhong and Hanzhong is the Baojie Ancient Road, which runs from the oblique water in Guanzhong (now the Stone River in Meixian County) through the Qinling Mountains along the river valleys and mountains and comes out from Baohe River in the north of Hanzhong City. During the Warring States period, in order to unify Bashu, Qin carried out a large-scale reconstruction of the ancient road of Commendation and Oblique, and built the plank road of Commendation and Oblique. The inclined plank road greatly enhanced the strength of Qin State, accelerated the process of unifying China, and was the main artery connecting the central dynasty with the southwest region. During the Tang and Song Dynasties, the oblique plank road was the only way for the army and horses to March, and it was also the main road for business travel between the north and the south.

Now, after years of erosion, the ancient road in Qinling has long since disappeared, leaving only the plank road with stone paving brackets, and the caves on the road still clearly record that history. Among them, the ancient plank road sites in Qingqiaoyi, Madao Town, Wuguanyi Town and Jiangkou Town of Liuba County are well preserved; Inscriptions such as "Cold Creek Rising at Night" and "Xiao He chased Han Xin here in Han Dynasty" and the newly-built "Feng Ming Temple", which are closely related to praising the inclined plank road, still remain in the world and become important historical materials for investigating and studying the ancient plank road.
