The difference between cowshed and cowshed

Cowshed and cowshed are essentially the same, both of which are cowsheds for raising cattle, but their construction techniques are different.

Cowshed can also be called cowshed. Cattle are raised in cowshed, which is essentially the same, but the construction technology of cowshed will be higher than that of cowshed. Different cows are raised separately and divided into multiple breeding sheds, while cowshed keeps all cows together.

Cowsheds are generally built in places with high terrain, sunny lee and low groundwater level, which can solve the problems of difficult drainage and water accumulation. They must not be built in low-lying depressions and vents, and they cannot create a good growth environment for cattle.

The height of cowshed from the ground should not be less than 3m, which is beneficial to ventilation and heat dissipation. The width of single row cowshed is 3.6-3.8m, and the length depends on the number of cattle raised. The roof is made of heat insulation material to reduce the influence of high temperature on cattle in summer.

Matters needing attention in building cowshed

1, overall scale

The cattle farm should be built in a place with high terrain and good drainage. The height of the cowshed from the ground should not be less than 3 meters, and it should have good ventilation and heat dissipation. The width of a single row cowshed is 3.6-3.8m, and the length depends on the number of cows. The width of a cow should not be less than 1m. In addition, the roof should also be made of materials with good heat insulation effect. Relatively speaking, cows are afraid of heat. The use of thermal insulation materials can effectively reduce the adverse effects of high temperature in summer.

2, the ground

Cement can be directly paved in the farm to clean up the feces, and the ground is slightly flat, so that there will be no feces on the ground and it is not easy to clean up. When the temperature is low in winter, you can put some grass under the cows to prevent them from catching cold because of the cold. You can also build a small slope on the ground, which is beneficial to the direct outflow of water or urine and can save a lot of effort.

3. Venue

There should be a place for cattle to move outside the cowshed, so that the cattle can move and rest inside after eating the feed.

Step 4 pay attention to details

The water in the shed should also be evenly distributed, which will be much more convenient for cleaning or feeding, but the water pipe should not be close to the trough to prevent the water from flowing into the trough and causing the feed to be moldy. Or it is not convenient to feed cows with water. The width of the trough is only 50 cm, and the sides of the trough are slightly steep, so that the feed will not fall out when the cows eat it. The side near the aisle should also be higher than the aisle to prevent the feed on the aisle from entering the trough.

5, the function is perfect

A shady shed should be built outside the farm, so that the cows can have a rest place when they come out, and try to find another feeding place to feed outside the farm. There is also the sewage system of the farm to be connected together, so that it can be cleaned when cleaning.
