Development history
In the early 1980s, the Shanghai Municipal Government adopted the representative's suggestion and built a cemetery in the suburbs to bury the ashes of relatives nearby. 1In March, 1985, Shanghai Binhai Ancient Garden, the first state-owned cemetery in Shanghai, was jointly funded by Shanghai Funeral Management Office, Shanghai May 4th Farm and Huamu Company of Shanghai Farm Bureau. Over the past 20 years, the ancient garden has realized environmental gardening, diversified burial styles, artistic tomb style and office modernization.
