It has jurisdiction over 8 village committees including Tiaojiu, Longwan, Zhonghe, Xiwan, Min'an, Wenxi and Xinxun. It is rich in grain, sugar cane and vegetables. Aquatic products include stove crabs, paste crabs, octopus, cuttlefish, prawns, sand shrimps, sandworms, etc. Min'an stove crabs are famous far and wide.
