The car heater smells.
When using warm air in the car, there are several common causes of odor:
1. Because of evaporator (also called evaporation box). The warm air of the car mainly comes from the heat of the water tank, which is in the evaporator. Warm air is the cooling system of the engine. In the process of cooling the engine, heat is blown into the cab by the blower.
If the time is long, there may be a small amount of moisture and dust attached to the evaporator, and the evaporator will be moldy and produce odor.
2. The air-conditioning duct has an odor. Air-conditioning pipes smell because of humidity and mildew. It is suggested that every time the air is turned on, turn off the AC switch 2 minutes before stopping, and turn on the external circulating air to continue blowing until it stops. This method can dry the moisture in the air duct and prevent mildew.
3. The empty filter element smells. Empty filter elements have a service life and are usually replaced every two years. Otherwise, it will be moldy after a long time, leading to odor. And after a long time, the bacteria inside will gradually accumulate, which is not good for human health.
