History of Jiangyan in Zhanjiang Lake

Huguangyan has a long history. The origin of the lake is said to be Ninghetuo village before it became a lake. One day, a white cow suddenly fell in the village, and the villagers slaughtered it and ate it, which led to a disaster from heaven and the village sank into the lake.

Huguangyan tourist attractions mainly include Jinghu Lake, Lengyan Temple, Baiyi Temple, Shiziling, Shizigang, Qixing Cave, Jiuqu Bridge, Poetry Gallery, Wave Watching Platform, White Bull Fairy Sculpture and so on. Almost every tourist attraction has a touching legend or story. For thousands of years, relegated officials and poets have come here one after another, playing with the moon and listening to the waves, lingering in the mountains and rivers, reciting poems and writing poems, leaving many excellent works. National leaders such as Dong, Guo Moruo once wrote poems on rocks, and people carved them on stone tablets and told them.
