Practical guide from Langya Town to Daying Village in Jinhua, Zhejiang (Part 1), a 45-kilometer journey into the secret realm of immortals

I thought that the distance from Langya Town to Daying Village via Ruoyang Village is only 45 kilometers, and AutoNavi can easily set it up (Baidu Map cannot recommend the section from Langya Town to Daying Village via Baimen Line) route), the first three travel articles about Ruoyang Village and Daying Village were quite detailed, so I didn’t want to compile the guide separately. However, after the article was published, several friends left messages or private messages in the comment area. , asked me about relevant attractions, food, accommodation, etc., and the route in Daying Village is basically independent, so I decided to make this guide again to make it easier for friends to travel.

However, because we were in a hurry to go to Daying Village this time, we didn’t know anything about the relevant conditions on the route beforehand, and due to the heavy rain, the trip was basically just a sightseeing hike or road trip. It can even be said that it can only be regarded as exploring the road and stepping on it. The night I stayed in Daying Village, I stayed in my car, so I can't provide any personal experience about food and accommodation. But fortunately, I have the experience of traveling through the previous "May Day", and I also met local friends such as Brother Shen and Brother Zhu in Ruoyang Village and Daying Village, and I can ask them for relevant details. Moreover, thanks to the support of all my online friends, I have also been provided with a lot of practical and rich information in the comment areas and private messages of travel articles in Ruoyang Village and Daying Village.

Therefore, this guide is based on my experience of walking in Wucheng District, Jinhua City twice, combined with the information provided by friends. If there is anything wrong, please correct me.

1. About Ruoyang Village and Daying Village

Ruoyang Village and Daying Village belong to Ruoyang Township, Wucheng District, Jinhua City, Zhejiang Province.

Ruoyang Village is the seat of the township government of Ruoyang Township. It is about 50 kilometers away from the Wucheng District Government of Jinhua City. It is located on the mountainside with an altitude of more than 700 meters. Because of the rugged mountain roads, dense forests, and remoteness, it is rarely visited. It is known to the world, so it is called "Jinhua Little Tibet".

When I arrived at Ruoyang Village, it was raining heavily, so I didn’t see many villagers. The dripping raindrops on the ancient streets struck the streets paved with cobblestones and bluestones. The sound of the sound, the white walls of the wooden buildings and my reflection clearly reflected on the wet road made the village even quieter, but it was the festive atmosphere created by the antique lanterns and colorful latte art that made the densely populated houses and cramped streets stand out. The alley has the atmosphere of human beings.

Daying Village is located at the end of the Huda Line rural road in Wucheng District. There is still 15 kilometers of rugged mountain roads that drop and rise rapidly from Ruoyang Village. The village is surrounded by Blocked by high mountains, the only "convenient" link to the outside world is the Huda Line, so it has become the most remote mountain village in Ruoyang Township, but it is precisely because of this that it has become a paradise-like fairyland.

If Ruoyang Township is called "Jinhua Little Tibet", then Daying Village, this magical and mysterious place, is worthy of being called Motuo, Tibet. And when I walked into Daying Village, it was purely an accident caused by curiosity.

Daying Village has a history of more than 300 years. Our ancestors fled famine and settled here. Currently, there are 92 households with a registered population of more than 300. But now, there are only more than 40 people living in the village, and they are all over 60 years old. Young people have left the mountains to pursue the wonderful life in the world.

2. About the itinerary

The line from Langya Town to Daying Village is a water source protection area in Jinhua City. Therefore, there are no thunderous things along the way on this rural road. The only scenic spots developed are absolutely original and beautiful scenery, and you do not need to pay any ticket fees, which is extremely cost-effective (According to Brother Shen: There used to be rafting in the lower reaches of Longtan Grand Canyon, but due to water source protection, It is now closed).

Therefore, enjoying this route depends on what kind of mentality you have and what kind of scenery you want to see - for me, I am happy to enjoy those steep and steep hairpin turns. I also yearn for the mystery, primitiveness, tranquility and serenity of the villages deep in the mountains that are not disturbed by the world. Therefore, I enjoy the loneliness and ruggedness of this road - if this is what you want to pursue. , you can completely relax and go for a walk, but if you like tall scenic spots and the hustle and bustle of the city, then you should give up this route.

If you feel the same as me and want to pursue the simplicity and primitiveness of this rural road, then please slow down and enjoy it carefully instead of following my general steps. in a hurry.

Of course, because the whole journey is only a few dozen kilometers, such a line can be long or short in time. You can completely start from Jinhua city and go back and forth on the same day, or you can use it calmly. Walk slowly for a few days to slowly savor the slow life in the countryside, because it is also a paradise for travel enthusiasts.

3. About the route

I entered Jinhua City twice, and my first destination was Langya Town, Wucheng District.

This time, we also started from Langya Town, passed through Baimen Line, 092 Township Road to Huda Line, passed Ruoyang Village (the seat of Ruoyang Township Government), and finally arrived at Daying Village (need to use Amap navigation) . This route, starting from Langya Town, basically travels through the mountains and ridges. Along the way, there are beautiful original ecological scenery and charming villages that will tempt you to linger (due to space limitations, the scenery part will be discussed in the next article).

If you enter Jinhua City from the east such as Hangzhou, Ningbo, Shanghai, etc., you can also set the first destination of the navigation to Andi Town, and take the Anshan Line from Andi Town via Andi Reservoir, Qintan Village, and Nankeng Village connect with the Huda Line, and you can also reach Daying Village smoothly. Moreover, according to the villagers of Daying Village, this line is relatively longer than the line in Langya Town. It is gentle and easy to walk, and the distance is nearly 3 kilometers (42 kilometers from Andi Town to Daying Village).

4. About vehicles

Although the Huda Line is a rural highway, as I mentioned in the previous article, it must give a thumbs up to Zhejiang Province’s new rural policy: Except for the last 2 kilometers of road road that is about to reach Daying Village, which is slightly damaged and narrower, the rest of the road is a newly paved asphalt road, which is very smooth. Although there are many steep turns, the villagers' agricultural tricycles can drive smoothly. , buses, minibuses, minibuses also run back and forth every day, so on this route, no matter what kind of car you have, you can easily complete the crossing.

By the way, after I posted the video of Daying Village on my "Pan Mama Travel Notes" account, some netizens asked whether Daying Village is convenient for RV parking, and here is the unified reply:

There is a small open space next to the cultural hall in Daying Village where you can park your car. I parked my car there that night. But that open space is also a parking waiting area for buses and an area where villagers gather for activities, so parking should try not to affect the lives of the villagers.

Going around to the top of Daying Village, there is also a small hardened area for parking.

However, due to the large size of the RV and the narrow road to Daying Village, you still need to be careful and slow when driving the RV.

It’s a lot of fun to play, but it’s hard to code. If you can see this, I’m very grateful for your support!
