What are the breathing skills when playing the flute?
At the beginning, you can use Qu Di to practice playing "1", "2" and "3" at the low octave (that is, flat playing), and then practice other sounds after you master them to a certain extent, or change to Band-Aid and alto flute.
This exercise can be divided into the following three steps:
Step 1: practice gas storage and exhalation first. First, use the lower jaw to store exhaled breath and play the flute. The method is:
1. The root of the tongue contracts inward (backward), forming the form of "ou" sound, and storing qi in the lower jaw.
2. The jaw contracts upward (the tongue naturally stretches forward), and the stored air is exhausted and exhaled. At this time, the most important thing is to keep the mouth shape when playing the flute, and the damper cannot be changed or shaken. Otherwise the flute won't play. The longer the sound, the louder the better.
Step 2: On the basis of step 1, inhale through the nose. Please note:
1, breathe in quickly, first break down the exercise one breath at a time, and don't continue in a hurry.
2. Be sure to inhale through your nose while breathing (blowing) (that is, breathe through your mouth and inhale through your nose at the same time). This step is difficult, but it is easy to master as long as you lay a good foundation in the first step.
The third step is to practice repeatedly. The key to practicing this step is to inhale air from the nose, then transfer it to the lungs and exhale. At this time, the nose and mouth need a process of connection conversion. In this transformation, discontinuous traces often appear, which is a common problem for beginners. To solve this problem, we must pay attention to:
1, the whole body should not be too nervous, especially the mouth and nose should be consciously relaxed.
2, strengthen the control of the lower abdomen (abdomen), in order to reduce oral control and tension.
3. At the beginning of training, when you switch between blowing mouth and sucking nose, you can reduce your breath, weaken your voice and slowly complete the conversion process.
4, in the process of two movements (inhalation and exhalation) conversion, try not to move the head and upper body, to maintain stability.
As long as you pay attention to these aspects and practice seriously, you will soon be able to break through this barrier.
It is best to practice playing the flute on weekdays, and you can do it without playing the flute. The method is:
1. Raise one hand (left hand or right hand), practice breathing with the palm facing the damper (mouth), and rely on the feeling of the palm to measure whether your breath is concentrated.
2. Practice blowing lights (candles) by circulating ventilation. Let the light swing, but it can't go out to measure whether the luck is uniform or not.
3. In the past, when folk artists practiced suona drum-cheek ventilation, they often used a hollow stick and inserted it into the water to practice blowing, so that the water came out of the water and kept rolling, and practiced the continuous conversion between blowing and sucking. Although this method is not suitable for the flute (because the strength, angle and mouth shape of the gas are often changed when playing the flute), it is still advisable to practice breathing movements.
In the process of practice, you can gradually pull the distance between your mouth and the target (lamp or hand) from near to far to measure whether your breath is increasing.
When practicing and applying this technology, we should pay attention to the following points in summary:
1, breathe in.
2. When breathing for the second time, it must be coherent and even, neither long nor short, nor slow nor urgent.
3. When playing, the light can be slightly downward, not straight and stiff. This can effectively enlarge the laryngeal cavity and increase the control of the oral cavity and laryngeal cavity.
4, in the process of ventilation, the lower abdomen should always keep control, not soft, so as not to get out of control.
5, the body should be stable, not up and down, before and after.
6. In order to make the flute soft and pleasing to the ear and facilitate ventilation, you can add standard or low virtual vibrato (that is, vibrato) to help when encountering long tones.
