Seeking the best strategy for a one-day trip to Huanglongxi?

I go to college in Chengdu, Sichuan, and I usually take some short trips to the surrounding scenic spots on weekends. Huanglongxi, located in the suburb of Chengdu, is really a good place for a one-day weekend trip. I have been to Huanglongxi two or three times and made a detailed and complete strategy. Let me share it with you ~

First, the introduction of scenic spots

Huanglongxi Ancient Town, located in Shuangliu District, Chengdu, Sichuan Province, is one of the top ten water towns. Most of the ancient towns were built in the Ming and Qing Dynasties, with smooth blue stone roads, shiny black gates, antique signboards and buildings with cornices and corners, which are full of ancient meanings. The core scenic spot of Huanglongxi is famous for its "Top Ten Antiquities" such as ancient streets, ancient trees and ancient temples. Opposite Zhenjiang Temple in the ancient town is the intersection of Jinjiang and Luxi River. Jinjiang is clear and Luxi is brown, showing the landscape of "Huanglong crosses Qingjiang River and the real dragon is hidden in the middle".

Boating for two or three kilometers from Luxi estuary can reach Huanglongxi diffusion scenic spot. This scenic spot has the famous Buddha Temple and Kannonji. The two temples are located on two hills, far away from each other. In addition, there is Chenjiadao, one of the "Huanglong Five Islands". There is the only ancient water mill in western Sichuan on the island, and the creaking sound of the ancient water mill evokes many sweet memories of farming culture. ......

Second, the introduction of scenic spots

1. Ticket price: free.

2. Opening hours: all day.

3. Suitable season: summer.

4. Address of the scenic spot: Shuanghuang Road, huanglongxi town, Shuangliu District, Chengdu, Sichuan.

5. Suggested playing time: 2-3 hours.

6. Tourist attraction level: AAAA

Third, the traffic strategy.

First of all, if you take a bus or bus, you can choose the following routes:

You can take a long-distance bus from Xinnanmen Bus Station of Chengdu Tourism Distribution Center to Huanglongxi Ancient Town Scenic Area. Ticket price 15 yuan, the whole journey takes about 70 minutes.

You can take a long-distance bus from Chengdu Jinsha Station to Huanglongxi Ancient Town Scenic Area. The fare is 10 yuan, and it takes 70 minutes by car.

You can take bus No.819 at Chengdu Bus Terminal to Huayang Passenger Transport Center, and then transfer to bus No.821. The whole fare is 80 minutes in 4 yuan.

You can take a bus at Chengdu Chadianzi Station to Shuangliu Passenger Transport Center, and then transfer to Bus No.808 to reach Huanglongxi Ancient Town Scenic Area. The whole fare is 80 minutes in 8 yuan.

Personally, I tried the second and third riding modes during a short trip to Huanglongxi, but from my personal experience, I suggest choosing the second mode. Chengdu Bus Terminal and Huayang Passenger Transport Center are both crowded, and the transfer time is long, which is inconvenient for tourists. Always be careful not to get off at the wrong station. The second way is much more worry-free, and you can rest directly after getting on the bus.

Secondly, if you want to go to go on road trip, there are many routes to choose from:

Depart from Tianfu Square in Chengdu, go straight along Renmin South Road to Shuanghua Road on Tianfu Avenue, then turn left to Shuanghuang Avenue to reach Huanglongxi Scenic Area.

From Chengdu Railway Station of Chengnan Expressway to South Third Ring Road, turn to Shuanghua Road of Tianfu Avenue at Tianfu Interchange of Third Ring Road, and then turn to Shuanghuang Avenue via Shuanghua Road to reach Huanglongxi Scenic Area.

Chengdu Railway Station with its own Mian Expressway turns into Chengdu Ring Expressway, exits at Tianfu Avenue, and then turns into Shuanghuang Avenue via Shuanghua Road to reach Huanglongxi Scenic Area.

Finally, traveling by subway is also a very good choice. You can get off at Huilong Station of Chengdu Metro Line 5, change to S 18 and get off at Huanglongxi Bus Terminal, and finally walk 536 meters to Huanglongxi Scenic Area.

IV. Accommodation recommendation

1, where to stay: travel, the first thing to make sure is accommodation. If you stay in a hotel, it is recommended to book in advance. However, according to my experience, I suggest you choose a homestay with local characteristics. There are many homestays around Huanglongxi, with high cost performance, good privacy and diverse styles. I stayed in the B&B twice, which was really comfortable. It doesn't matter if I wash and cook. Choosing any homestay around Huanglongxi Scenic Area will not step on thunder.

Cost-effective: The price of homestays around the scenic spot is generally 200-300 yuan for one night, which can accommodate two people.

Excellent comfort: B&B has a small area, but the focus is on good comfort, cleanliness and warmth.

Convenient transportation: Most homestays around the scenic spot can be reached on foot, and those far away can be reached by bike.

2. Eat delicious food: Since I have come to Huanglongxi, I naturally want to try local specialties. The local cuisine is mainly Sichuan cuisine, paying attention to spicy and delicious flavor, paying equal attention to alcohol and taste, and the price is good. On average, you can eat a satisfying local specialty snack around 20 yuan. The following are all my personal recommendations for snacks that I have tasted and feel good. You can try it yourself!

Noodles A: This snack, also known as longevity noodles, is a traditional pasta in the ancient town of Huanglongxi. A noodle always goes through more than a dozen processes from kneading to cooking, so it tastes tender, with endless aftertaste, spicy and refreshing, and the average price is about 15 yuan.

Stone mill tofu: also known as pearl tofu, it is white in color, delicate in taste and natural and fresh in taste, and can be enjoyed at an average of about ten yuan.

Diced yellow pepper: This is a local wild seafood with delicate meat. With mountain pepper, red pepper and coriander as auxiliary materials, the soup is delicious, tender, spicy and delicious, and you won't forget it once. The price of fresh diced yellow pepper per catty is around 60 yuan.

Verb (short for verb) timing

In this way, we can better appreciate the customs of the ancient town. In addition, there is a small stream across the street in the ancient town, so you can come here to enjoy the cool in hot summer.

2. Play order: Huanglongxi ancient town has profound cultural heritage and many scenic spots. According to my own experience, I summed up the best order for you to play: West Sichuan Folk Culture Street-Longtan Square-Gulong Temple-Ancient Wharf-Huanglongxi Covered Bridge-Big Buddha Temple. This route does not need to go back, and it can also appreciate the ancient town customs to the maximum extent.

The West Sichuan Folk Culture Street brings together the essence of quadrangle architecture of different times and styles in the West Sichuan Plain. Strolling along the path paved with blue bricks seems to have crossed another time and space.

Covering an area of about 2,000 square meters, the square is surrounded by Kowloon rattan beads symbolizing the birth of the dragon and the nine sons, with a tripod cast in the middle, which tells the historical legend that Zhuge Wuhou sank the tripod to awaken the dragon.

Third stop: Gulong Temple: Gulong Temple is located at the southern end of Huanglongzheng Street. It is the earliest temple built in Huanglongxi, famous for its ancient temples, ancient stages and ancient banyan trees.

Fourth stop: Ancient Wharf: The ancient wharf was built at the intersection of Fuhe River and Luxi River. The turbid Luxi River, which originated from Longquan Mountain, poured the clear water of Minjiang River here, roaring like a yellow dragon. The ancient wharf left over from the Three Kingdoms period is made of stones and is still well preserved. Boating on the river, drinking tea and thinking about the past, quietly thinking about the past grand occasion of boating in the ancient Huanglongxi.

The fifth stop: Huanglongxi Covered Bridge: Huanglongxi is smart because of the water, and Jinjiang and Luxi River meet in the ancient town and merge into one. On both sides of Jinjiang River, a magnificent bridge is particularly eye-catching, which is Huanglongxi Covered Bridge. The covered bridge itself is a scene, magnificent.

Sixth stop: Big Buddha Temple: The Big Buddha Temple is located on the banks of Luxi River. When the weather is fine, you can see the temple on the other side when standing near the ancient pier. The earliest Huanglongxi Buddhist temple was built in Ming Dynasty, with solemn sitting style and unique design.

Sixth, play tips

1, Huanglongxi is near the water, and the scenic spot also provides a place to play with water. You can prepare raincoats and boots in advance and join the crowd fighting for water!

There are many good places to take photos and punch in the ancient town of Huanglongxi. Covered bridges, ancient archways and dragon street are all very good.
