Kaifu temple 1 (Changsha City, Hunan Province)
Kaifu temple is located in Xinhe, north of Changsha, Hunan Province, near Xiangjiang River. The main building, facing south, is the Yang Qi Temple of Zen Buddhism in Lin Ji. Kaifu temple was founded in the Five Dynasties, and experienced the Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties.
Covering an area of 48,000 square meters, with a building area of 1.6 million square meters, there are three Buddhist temples, namely, three temples (Maitreya Hall), the Giant Buddha Hall (Mahayana Hall) and the Pilu Hall. The east wing has a living room, a zhaitang, a warehouse and an abbot's room, and the west wing has a dharma hall and a meditation hall.
There is a stone tablet in the temple between Kangxi and Guangxu in Qing Dynasty. Kaifu temple is one of the key Buddhist monasteries in China, and is listed as a provincial key cultural relics protection unit in Hunan. Hunan Buddhist Association and Changsha Buddhist Association are both located in the temple.
2. Zhang Xian Taoist Temple (Liling City)
Zhangxianling, the main peak of Zhanglongshan, is located in the northeast of Huangdazui Town and the southwest corner of Guanzhuang Township, with an altitude of 707.8 meters. Zhang Longshan is a branch of Jiuling Mountain. Jiuling Mountain enters Niujiaopo, Banshancun Village, Guanzhuang Township, Liling from Yangjiaonao and Jiagong 'ao in Liuyang, passes Jiang Mu Guangshan (8 17m) in the north, and goes forward to Zhangxianling.
Sima Cheng Town (655? 735), from the government map of heaven and earth? "Seventy-two Blessed Lands" contains: "The forty-eighth Zhang Longshan, Mr. Zang ruled in Liling County, Tanzhou." It is a famous mountain in the world, and it is called ten caves, thirty-six caves and seventy-two blessed places. Zhangxianling is one of the "forty-eight blessed places" in Taoism.
Zang and Zhang's voices are very close, and they have always called. "Blessed land" means blessed land, which is dominated by earthly immortals and real people. If you live in the blessed land for a long time, you will be blessed and live forever. Zhang Xianling is famous for his outstanding people and celebrities. It is the birthplace of Long Mai in five counties and cities around Hunan and Jiangxi. Celebrities such as Huang Shigong and Sean in Qin and Han Dynasties were all enlightened here.
In Zhang Xian Taoist Temple, there is a statue of the third hero of Han Dynasty, which was built by Weichi Gong in Tang Dynasty. In the heyday of Taoism, there were countless Taoist teachers on the mountain. It was not until the Ming and Qing Dynasties that Huang Yuanji and He Juezi served as Buddhists in the Qing Dynasty that the smooth road began. From then on, Zhang Xian's political belief was blocked, the blessed land declined, the clan withered, and the spiritual (belief) homeland of the masses was missing.
3. Lushan Temple (Changsha City, Hunan Province)
Lushan Temple, also known as Huiguang Temple and manjuji, is located halfway up Yuelu Mountain on the west bank of Xiangjiang River in Changsha City, Hunan Province. It was founded by Li Fachong, a disciple of Dunhuang Bodhisattva Li, in the fourth year of Taishi in the Western Jin Dynasty (AD 268). It has a history of 1700 years. It is the earliest relic of Buddhism introduced into Hunan, and now it is a key cultural relic protection unit in Hunan Province and the resident of Hunan Buddhist Association.
After entering the gate of Lushan Temple, you can see the release pond, the advanced Maitreya Buddha Hall, and the Maitreya Buddha statue on the Buddha platform. Maitreya Hall has a bell tower on the left and a drum tower on the right. Admiralty is the Great Hall, that is, the main hall, which is seven rooms wide and six rooms deep, and rests on the top of the mountain with double eaves. The three-body Buddha statue of Sakyamuni Buddha is enshrined on the Buddha platform in the temple, which is extremely solemn. On the left side of the hall are the five-view hall and the living room, and on the right is the lecture hall.
4. Yanfeng Temple (Hengyang City, Hunan Province)
Yan Hui Peak, Hengshan Mountain, Yanfeng Temple. Yan Hui Peak is the first of the 72 peaks in Nanyue. In the Southern Dynasties, Liu Songzai said, "There are 800 miles around Nanyue, with geese as the head and Yuelu Mountain as the foot." The Yanfeng Temple on Yan Hui Peak was built in the 12th year of Southern Liang Dynasty, and then abandoned.
It was rebuilt in the first year of Tianbao in the Tang Dynasty (742), and it was repaired in the Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties. The original temple has three floors and more than a hundred rooms. During the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression period, it was burned by the Japanese invaders, leaving only the front hall and the back hall.
After 1949, the government sent special personnel to repair it many times, planted trees and gardens, and built many pavilions, making the temple an important tourist attraction and a place for pilgrims to worship and practice, and was designated as a first-class cultural relics protection unit in Hunan Province by the state.
5. Yunlu Palace
Yuelu Mountain is located on the west bank of Xiangjiang River in Changsha City, Hunan Province, and belongs to Hengshan Mountain in Nanyue. The ancients listed Yuelu Mountain as one of the 72 peaks of Nanyue Mountain and called it Lu Lingfeng. "The Legend of Nanyue" said: "Nanyue is 800 miles around, headed by Yan Hui, and the foot of Yuelu is also enough." Hence the name Yuelu.
According to Taoist records, this place is the 23rd blessed place among the 72 blessed places in Taoism, and it is called "Dongzhen Market", which is managed by Han Zhong, a real person from Xiyue. The existing Taoist monuments mainly include Yunlu Palace.
