Wengyuan Jifeng Pagoda

Jifeng Pagoda is located from northwest to southeast. Surrounding the peaks are beautiful slopes. It faces Huantangdong Mountain in the south, Fozi Mountain in the west, and Li in the southeast. The Linghe River flows and lies across the Kanxia New Bridge built in the Qing Dynasty (a single-hole bridge made of sandstone and lime sand, with gray sand and stones at both ends, running northwest to southeast, 20 meters long, 2.8 meters wide, and 7 meters high , span 15.5 meters). The plan is a three-story brick tower with a hexagonal pavilion-style base, with a total height of 12.5 meters, a base width of 1.5 meters, and an inner diameter of 2.8 meters. The lower half is made of gray sand bricks, and the upper half is made of pebble mortar with brick inlays. The rhombus bricks and overhanging bricks are made in multiple layers. It gradually closes in straight lines; the first floor is 3.5 meters high, 2.5 meters long, 0.75 meters thick, with a 2.5-meter-high, 1-meter-wide outer arch and an inner square door; the second floor has a 1.2-meter-high, 1-meter-wide arched window; the third floor The two rooms are 1.2 meters high and 1 meter wide with arched windows; the top of the pyramid has a treasure basin holding a treasure altar, which is extremely rare. There are many round holes left in the tower body, and I don’t know what they are used for. The tower cavity originally had a wooden shed, but it is now empty.

Shaoguan Wengyuan Jifeng Tower is the only tower built on the top of the mountain in the county.
