Who is Emperor Hongwu?
Zhu Yuanzhang
01. Zhu Yuanzhang’s birth vision
Everything started one night in 1328, when farmer Zhu Wusi’s wife Chen gave birth to They gave birth to a baby boy, named Zhu Chongba, who later became Zhu Yuanzhang, the founder of the Zhu Ming Dynasty.
According to the "Records of the Ming Dynasty", when Zhu Yuanzhang was born, the sky was filled with red light, and strange phenomena appeared in the room at night. The neighbors thought there was a fire and rushed to rescue him. His appearance must be unusual if he has a vision. The "History of the Ming Dynasty" once described his appearance like this: "Zhu Yuanzhang has a majestic appearance, strange bones running through the top of his head, a clear will, and no one can predict him." The first eight characters say it. It's his appearance, and the last eight characters describe his temperament.
02. Ten domineering poems by Zhu Yuanzhang
As we all know, Zhu Yuanzhang was poor in his childhood and grew up in a rough place. He eventually established the Ming Dynasty and became the founding emperor. He made great achievements in his life and made great achievements in military, economic, cultural and other aspects. People focus on Zhu Yuanzhang's great achievements, but what they often ignore is the convenient value of his poetry.
In terms of literary talent, Zhu Yuanzhang's reputation in my country's poetry world is relatively dim, because his cultural level is relatively low, and all his achievements were self-taught. But if we talk about momentum alone, there may not be many poets who can compare with Zhu Yuanzhang. According to records, Zhu Yuanzhang wrote a large number of poems throughout his life, of which more than 100 poems are extant. Most of them express his lofty ideals and ambitions, express his heart directly, are magnificent and domineering.
In addition to being domineering, Zhu Yuanzhang's poems also have another characteristic, that is, the words are simple and unpretentious, and he uses the simplest words to express what he thinks. Although the text is simple and unpretentious, between the lines, it can reflect the domineering spirit of surrendering to all things, being the mainstay, and being proud of the world. The combination of simple words and domineering momentum is the greatest charm of Zhu Yuanzhang's poetry.
