1. The myth of Furong Island.

According to legend, very early on, one day Tieguai Li was playing chess with the Queen of Poseidon in the Temple of the God of Poseidon on Salmon Island. Somehow, Tieguai Li lost two games in a row. In the third game, when he was about to lose again, Tieguai Li started to argue with his mother-in-law over a piece. The mother-in-law said, "You're still not stupid even if you lose." Tieguai Li was already very angry after losing. You must put a hat on the Empress Temple. The Goddess of Poseidon knew that Tieguai Li was going to press a mountain on the top of the temple. She was very scared, so she went to ask Zhang Tianshi for help.

Tieguai Li ran to the Taihang Mountain God in one breath, asked for a small mountain peak, and limped toward the East China Sea with his crutches poking out. When we reached the edge of Laizhou Bay, we were sweating profusely and very thirsty, so we used an iron crutch to support the mountain peak on the sea, took out a gourd and drank some wine. After drinking enough wine, he took a nap again. Zhang Tianshi arrived here in the clouds. When he saw Tieguai Li sleeping, it was an opportunity, so he "pinched his feet and recited a mantra", and the mountain took root and penetrated all the way to the bottom of the sea.

At this time, the Eight Immortals and gods were playing here along the coast. When they saw Tieguai Li sleeping soundly on the hill, they all went to the mountain to play. When Tieguai Li woke up, he could no longer lift the mountain. Since then, there have been preserved on the island the "Fairy Cave" held up by Cao Guojiu's "toothpick"; the "Line of Sky" carved by Lu Dongbin's sword; the "pillow stone" used by Tieguai Li Zuimian; and the "sitting stone" used by Han Xiangzi to play his flute. "; "Lotus Auspicious Rock" where He Xiangu turned clouds into stone; Zhang Guolao's "Donkey Bolt" and "Juxiantai" where the Eight Immortals drank, etc.

As for the name change of Mayfly Island, it is said that it began during the Zhengde period of the Ming Dynasty. According to legend, Mao Ji, a scholar from the Ming Dynasty, played chess with Emperor Zhengde and won the island. Because he admired its gorgeous beauty, he named the island after his childish name "Furong". Later, Mao Ji resigned and returned to his hometown. Legend has it that he actually became an immortal on this island.

2. The legend of the Poseidon:

Legend has it that in ancient times, a fisherman was traveling at night in the sea and encountered a storm and lost his way. , the fisherman hurriedly followed the light and finally got out of danger. Later, local fishermen would always see that light if they encountered bad weather here. 3. The story of Qin Shihuang and the Immortal Grass:

There are three mountains 2 kilometers north of Golden Beach, called "Sanshan Island". Sanshan Island has been known as the "Three God Mountains" on the sea since ancient times. There is the Yinzhu Temple on the mountain, and there is also the Sanshan Tide Viewing Resort, which is one of the eight scenic spots in the county.

"Ye County Chronicle" records: "The First Emperor of Qin worshiped the Lord Yin here, and the altar site still exists." According to legend, after Qin Shihuang unified China, he traveled all over the world's famous mountains and rivers. One day, the First Emperor, surrounded by hundreds of civil and military officials, patrolled eastward to Sanshan Island and climbed to the top of Zhongfeng Range Rover. I saw three abrupt peaks, overlooking the sea, with wind and waves, making it a magnificent sight. The First Emperor and his ministers were admiring this wonderful scenery, and suddenly remembered that the immortals had not yet arrived, and the elixir was still not available, and they felt very unhappy. Then he ordered Zhao Gao and Li Si to sacrifice to the Lord of Yin. Zhao Gao and Li Si chose a rectangular flat stone on the top of the peak, dug a hole into it as a bottle, filled it with fine wine, and worshiped the Lord Yin.

After finishing the ceremony, he came down the mountain and suddenly reported that there was an alchemist asking to see him. The First Emperor summoned him. When he saw his beautiful features and slender body, he knelt down and shouted "Long live"! Then he asked: "What can you do?" Fang Tu knelt down and replied: "I have obtained the Immortal Herb and presented it to Your Majesty. I will invite the real person to come tonight. When your Majesty sees the real person, you can take this medicine and you will be immortal!" "The First Emperor was very happy after hearing this, and hurriedly ordered Zhao Gao to present the Immortal Grass and leave as a generous gift to the alchemist. The First Emperor finally got the coveted elixir. He thought: This is my retribution for worshiping the Lord of Yin. However, after waiting all night, the immortal did not arrive.

In the morning, Zhao Gao reported urgently, "There are giant footprints outdoors." The First Emperor ordered him to decoct the elixir and take it. After taking it, he fell violently ill and died. More than two thousand years have passed, and the rectangular flat stone on the peak of the three mountains is still there. On it are nine stone pit wine bottles, a pair of chopstick seals, and two palm molds. The locals call this the legacy of Qin Shihuang's sacrifice to the Lord of Yin.
