Where is the monument to the British revolutionary martyrs?
Du Ying Revolutionary Martyrs Monument is located at the east foot of Fengshan in Rongxing Village, Du Ying Town, Nan 'an City.
This monument was built in memory of revolutionary martyrs according to the instructions of Zhang, former vice chairman of Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference. The monument bears the names of 25 revolutionary martyrs. Among them, 16 were British soldiers who died in the local revolutionary battle, 1 were British soldiers who died in the battle of crossing the river, 2 were British soldiers who died in the battle of liberating Kinmen, 2 were British soldiers who died in the socialist construction period, and 4 were cadres and PLA soldiers who died in Du Ying and Dong Tian in the early days of liberation. They come from Shandong, Hebei and Fujian.
In 1930s, the revolutionary base area of An (Xi) Nan (An) Tong 'an (An) Border Region, established under the guidance of the Central County Committee of Xiamen, China, took Longmen and Guanqiao in Anxi County, Xiangyun and Du Ying in Nan 'an County, Ban Ling and Wufeng in Tong 'an County as the base areas to launch and carry out underground revolutionary struggles. Under the direct leadership of the Party organization, the revolutionary masses in Xifeng and Liangshan villages in Yingdu launched the anti-three-levy struggle against the Kuomintang government's "conscription, taxation and grain requisition", so Yingdu was called "the outpost of Annan's revolutionary struggle with the border region during the War of Liberation". During the period of 1948, Fujian, Guangdong, Jiangxi, Annan and the Party Committee of the Border Region successively established underground party branches in Du Ying, such as Xibei, Xin 'an, Nanying Middle School and Xinbang, organized anti-conscription teams and launched armed struggles. 1April, 949, Comrade Zhang, an underground party member in China, was ordered to work in Anxi and Nan 'an guerrilla zones from Xiamen. In May of the same year, he personally participated in the British riot movement under the unified command of the Central County Committee of Anxi, China. Annan participated with Lin Jinshi and Lin of the Border Guerrilla Brigade, Xie Jinting, Hong Runze and Han Shifang of the British Armed Forces, and defeated the Kuomintang in Britain.
1998 10, Zhang, Vice Chairman of Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, inspected the towns in the old revolutionary base areas to pursue the battle footprints of that year. During the inspection tour, Vice Chairman Zhang missed his close comrades who fought and died together 50 years ago, especially the 16 British comrades who died heroically for New China. He told the leaders of the cities and towns who accompanied him on the inspection tour: "The people in the old Du Ying area made great sacrifices for the war of liberation and the establishment of the country. A monument to revolutionary martyrs should be built on this red land covered with comrades' blood. Du Ying Revolutionary Martyrs Monument is managed by the people's government of the county-level cultural relics protection unit and included in Nan 'an patriotism education base and cultural relics protection unit.

Rongxing Village: Rongxing Village is located in the center of Du Ying Town. At the foot of the beautiful Mount Weng, Minshan and Yingdong Village are in the east, Liangshan Village in the west, Daxin Village in the south and Yingxi River in the north. The village covers an area of about 1.7 square kilometers, with 13 villagers' groups, 782 households and more than 3,500 people. Rongxing Village is located at the east foot of Rongshan (that is, Donghouzhai), so it is called "Rongshan Well". Before liberation, it was Rongshanbao. 1949 at the beginning of liberation, it was merged with Minsheng Daily and called Minshan Township. 1954 During the period of agricultural co-operation, it became a self-supporting Rongxing Society, and later changed its name to Lvming. 1984.
