Then, the working temperature of the engine is relatively high, and the oil will cause oil vapor. 1. Because most cleaning agents are extremely corrosive, cleaning the throttle is easy to corrode, soften and expand the oil seal or skirt of the idle motor, which leads to unstable idle speed of the engine and increased fuel consumption.
2. When cleaning the throttle, the original lubricating oil on the throttle shaft is easily washed away and loses lubrication, leaving a hidden danger that the throttle plate is stuck during operation and the electronic throttle potentiometer adjustment and cruise adjustment device do not work normally.
3. The inner wall of the throttle valve has a special coating treatment, which is as smooth as mercury coating, and has the functions of anti-static, non-dust absorption and shortening the development and change of sludge on its surface. Aggressive cleaning agent will destroy the special coating on the throttle valve, which will lead to the increase of clearance, idle speed and fuel consumption.
4. A mechanic even polished the inner wall of the throttle valve with fine sandpaper when cleaning the throttle valve with a strong corrosive cleaner when dealing with the failure of the door card. However, it is only temporarily smooth to manually grind off the bright and special coating, but after a period of time, it is easier to accumulate mud!
5. Every time the throttle valve is cleaned, it means that the gap between the valve cavity wall and the valve plate changes. After self-learning, ECU has a process of self-adjustment, change and self-adaptation, and the idle speed will be unstable, and it will gradually stabilize after running for most days. During this period, ECU only re-matches the air-fuel ratio data, which usually leads to high idle speed and increased fuel consumption.
6. Every time the throttle cavity is cleaned, the special coating will corrode once, and the original bright and smooth cavity wall will gradually become dull. Losing luster means that the coating will be completely corroded, and the sludge attached to the throttle wall will be accelerated through development and change, so it is not allowed to reduce the frequency of cleaning the throttle, which will affect the phenomenon of frequent failures and high maintenance costs. Finally, the throttle will be scrapped!
7. If the needle is hung or the cleaning agent is only sprayed outside the throttle valve, the cleaning is not thorough, and the service life of the throttle valve will be shortened after repeated disassembly.
Throttle valve can't be flushed frequently, and excessive flushing will cause its loss. When cleaning, focus on cleaning the throttle body cavity, throttle and throttle shaft until there is no dirt. After cleaning, repeatedly pull the throttle control mechanism to check whether the throttle switch is free.
