Hululing Beiqiu
Hululing, from the top of the mountain to the foot of the mountain, is almost covered with gray shells (mainly freshwater sand flies, snails, etc. ). The old chronicle said that the massive accumulation of clam shells was the product of crustal uplift. Actually, it is not. Archaeological data show that Hululing is a shell mound in the late Neolithic period, which has been more than 4000 years since. In the site, archaeologists collected a number of stone tools such as stone axes, stone poles, stone yards, chopping tools and shredders in the late Neolithic period, as well as a large number of pottery fragments such as black pottery sand, coarse red pottery sand and hard gray pottery prints.
