Juck Zhang 1650- about 1709, whose name is Shanlai, was born in Shexian County, Huangshan City, Anhui Province, originally from Wuyuan, and belonged to Jiangxi Province. Writer, novelist, critic and calligrapher in Qing Dynasty, official to imperial academy Confucius. Editor of Yu Chu's new record.
Juck Zhang's works and other famous works include Sleeping Shadow, A New Record of Jade Beginning, Hua Ying Ci, Xin Zhai Tan Tian Ji, Jin Xinzhai's Poems in Xi Nan Village, Drinking Eight Immortals, Lu Cong Huating Poetry and so on.
Juck Zhang was also a book engraver in the Qing Dynasty. He once engraved Tanji Series and Zhaodai Series (mountains, water, flowers, birds, fish, wine, books, imperial books and numbers).
Juck Zhang (1650-about 1709) and Shexian (now Shexian, Huangshan City, Anhui Province) were born in Zishan. His ancestral home was Wuyuan (now Jiangxi), and the tenth ancestor moved to Putian in the sixth year of Tiansheng in the Northern Song Dynasty (1028). After a move to Jianping County (now langxi, Anhui Province), since Shiqiaofu Army (? -1607) Nanjiang Guo Village (now Gujiang Village) in Buzhu County.
